Great location, in the heart of Toulouse No safelock in the room, although it was mentioned in the service description. View on Place du Capitol only available for Suites, all normal rooms have unpleasant view on very narrow side streets.
comfortable well equiped accomadation and pleasant helpful staff loud street noise - window insulation needs upgrading
The most central location in Toulouse
Clean and tidy, efficient staff. As a member of the Priority Club Rewards, I did not receive any confirmation from staff that points would be automatically credited to me, and I am still unaware as to whether this is the case.
The quality of food in the restaurant was excellent as was the level of service in the restaurant. Bar service.Bar counter was deserted most of the time and one had to go to reception to request service. The price of drinks was very expensive.Breakfast was not included and was expensive
Nothing, awful hotel Staying this hotel is really a nightmare. The worst hotel in the world I have ever stayed. Completely overpriced. You may easily have to pay the double amount worth the value. Not clean, not conmfortable room, in front of the hotel is garbage mountain. No air-con working properly, poor breakfast, and particulary arrogant and lie-telling staff.
Excellent location if you want to visit the principal atractions Difficult to reach by car as it is situated exactly in the city center. Expensive parking price
Welcoming reception staff. rOOM was very well appointed and bed comfortable Drinks were very expensive and noisy rugby supporters were at the hotel at the same time as us!
The fact that I could smoke in the room
clean/roomy and comfortable. great central location
location and cleanliness There was nowhere to put toiletries around the sink area or the bathroom
the rooms were very comfortable and clean. the location was excellent too there was not the option of food and the bar was hugely over priced. as a result we did not stay in the bar, we ate out every night
Rooms and location
the location and the factwe didn't had to move out before 3pm the day of our departure the breakfast ( to expensive)
Location very central, room was excellent, staff friendly n/A
location was excellent. Bed was exceptionnally comfortable. Internet in the room was free. Apples on the pillow are much better than chocolate.
The hotel location was excellent, being close to a large amount of restaurants and shops, made exploring easy and enjoyable. The welcome at reception was poor and unfriendly. The corridors leading to the rooms were dark and dingy.
Convenience for the opera and for the Capitole
nicely appointed rooms, great design, excellent location , good staff room too small
The location was great. Also, the staff were all very helpful. The rooms were a bit old and tired.
Very comfortable bed with good pillows. Excellent bathroom with good shower. Very central location
When we decided to go the Toulouse I wanted a central hotel and this hotel perfectly fits the bill. For an hotel in the centre of Toulouse I thought it was pretty good value for money. The evening meal was quite expensive for what we got.
Location is possibly best in Toulouse. Good sized room and being off the square, enabled leaving window open at night without undue noise (needed see aircon below) Despite size of room, only standard double bed - room for something larger. Luckily it was cold outside because aircon was next to useless. Generally hotel public rooms etc need a refurb
Location and the baggage folks and housekeepers were extremely helpful. The front desk and manager did not have our room available to us even though we were 45 minutes after the check in time of 3:30 pm. Though the manager offered us drinks, they told us 30 minutes since room was not ready. Then we set in lobby and watched 10-12 other guests arrive and been checked in immediately. After 60 minutes, and complaining about the long delay and how tired we were, we finally were shown a room in the back of the hotel. We did not even use the normal elevator, but some elevator in the rear. The room was the worse. It was small, had no light and generally was not acceptable for a hotel with rating. To make things worse, tried to order coffee the next morning, and it never arrived. Can not recommend this hotel. Felt the whole event was of no value.
welcoming, smiling, attentive, efficient staff; comfortable; well-situated
The hotel was in the center of Toulouse which made sight seeing a dream. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who went out there way to make the stay a memorable one. The hotel was very clean and evrything worked! It is difficult to think of anything which was obviously wrong with the hotel. If anything it was the city that let the hotel down. Toulouse was like a lady who had fallen on hard times. She needed a new dress and a hair do.
Friendly staff and good ambiance.
Impeccable Without the special deal, would have been too expensive. Breakfast expensive, better to go to Square
A lovely quiet and cool room. We were upgraded. The two restaurants were very good, and the staff were very courteous and friendly. Air of calm. Nice courtyard to relax in. No face cloths in the bathroom. No breakfast other than room service. Breakfast costs 22euros per person ! Porters were not available to help us with our luggage to and from the taxi (arrival & departure). They were around mostly - except when we needed them !
Very nice room, thematic decoration, friendly and competent staff, good breakfast.
Great location on river & friendly helpful staff bathtub/shower challenging for older person
The location was great with rooms overlooking the garonne and just above a great brasserie. not really
The hotel was very comfortable and stylish.
We liked the atmosphere produced by the welcome of the staff, the decoration, the location (so close to the centre of the city), the view and the simple comfort of the room itself The bistro opposite is frequented by the young generation, who are not prone to going to bed early and on hot night with windows open they tend to keep one awake until closing time at 0200 hrs. Parking is naturally at a premium and a bit of a walk away.
When my husband was ill the receptionist was extremely helpful, contacting a doctor etc and allowing us to stay in our room late on the day we were leaving. The hotel is difficult to get to because of the narrow streets and one-way system in Toulouse.
Clean, comfortable rooms, very helpful staff. Great location and was quiet even though on a main street. Had the best meal of our trip in their restaurant.
Therre too short a time to appreciate
Marie was fantastic in answering all my questions. The hotel is very charmous Car parking - I have been in hotel were the hotel has an agreement with the car parking so the final charge is less
Central location, aspect overlooking river, staff responsive when asked. safety a concern, eg no safety features to bath - no hand rail or anti slip mat/surface, poor corridor/stair lighting and access to breakfast room. Difficult for guests with less mobility. Communication to guests could be more proactive - one has to find out, rather than have services offered.
Quiet room, very helpful staff, excellent breakfast
It was warm, cosy and charming, I`ll definitely be back!
The location, its right in the center. The rooms looking out on the small street are extremely noisy at night because of all the bars in the area. Make sure you ask for a superior room, they are a bit more expensive (eventhough they are the same size as the standard rooms) but look out on a courtyard/parking and are quiet.
Very nice and generous breakfast. Free wifi access.
The location was great. Very close to the city center and close to the river. The room was spacious, clean, and had very nice style. The shower was handheld and connected to the bathtub faucet. Its hose was not long enough to use standing up. There also was no shower curtain. I stayed in another hotel in Toulouse with a similar arrangement, so maybe it is just local custom not to shower standing.
Quiet, close to town centre.
very good location, small hotel
Well located to shops and attractions, walking distance to train station, good size room nicely fitted out, breakfast good, a hotel of charm and character. Would definitely stay there again.
spotlessly clean, good location
Polite staff, clean room. a bit noisy, due to the rooms are not very well isolated
Super location in a swanky part of town, right next to the old part where you're going to spend lots of time. Loved the open balconies in the dining room and the 24-hour food and drink. Lots of thoughtful invention-type things in the rooms, such as moving the shower curtain back against the wall to make the bathroom look bigger. The shower curtains were mildewed. I mentioned it and they apologized and said they had already ordered replacements. The interior decorating in pink is pretty over-the-top, but that is a minor point.
excellent location, clean and attractive facilities, good breakfast, pleasant desk staff
The staff were very helpful and friendly!
It's professional but friendly, comfortable and very central. I've stayed at several different Toulouse hotels before, including this, and Albert 1er is the best bet.
staff were very friendly and helpful room was very small and because I was sleeping in the child's bed I kept hitting my head on the TV when I got up
Best location, nice old downtown french building.Nice people Nice building but old.VERY Bad&annoying smell coming out of the bathroom every night we came back from our day tour --I suppose it was something due to old facilities-plumbing,certainly not dirt or something like that.Prefer a room with a window in the bathroom maybe will be better
The hotel is very well situated, right next to Capitol. I had a great room (standard room) considering the budget I allocated, but it was pure hazard as the friends I have travelled with received really small rooms (not to mention their bathrooms). The hotel has just on the entrance a 20 steps stair and no lift. When I arrived, a very nice lady – a client (!) helped me out, but did not have the same luck when I left. The hotel staff was rather polite, but not excessively.
Lovely hotel with excellent staff who were very helpful and informative - thanks again for the advice! It is at an excellent location and good value for money. The bathroom was nice and spacious, but it would have been nice to have a shower curtain.
The location is excellent, just off Capitole place, surrounded by good restaurants and easy walking distance to the main sights. Staff were friendly, my room adequate size with a balcony overlooking a quet courtyard. No hairdryer in room... but once I mentioned this at reception, they sorted the problem and gave me one for the duration of my stay. Shower was a little cramped as well.
best hotel to explore Touluse expensive brekfest
Room was classed as a "superior double", however was a small room with a very small double bed. As we preferred twin beds, we were able to change rooms. Staff very helpful and polite. Would stay again.
Location and staff Decor needs updating.
Our room was spacious. The beds were excellent - i woke up each morning thinking 'What a good bed!' The breakfasts were very good, - choice of cereal, yogurts (plain or flavoured), fruit, orange juice, coffee, tea, or chocolate, great baguettes, excellent croissants, jams. Helpful staff. Very satisfied.
The staff were extremely pleasant and the location was perfect entry to the shower should be just inside the door to the bathroom Not over the toilet
Situation in Toulouse excellent. Very good for restaurants and bars and accessible from the airport and the rail station. Ideal for a weekend rugby trip.
The staff is very friendly and want to help, receptive to the guests needs. No elevator in the hotel. Not so easy to cary the luggage on the stairs. Aslo, no all the rooms are having toilet and this was not specified on the website. I booked a room with toillet and shower and at the reception it was offered first one with only shower and common toilet. It was solved, getting the one that I booked..but..
Only thing that is good that hotel is in good position – near, between river and town centre. The rooms that we got were nothing like on those pictures (old, bad smell, unclean, water and electricity together). We got a new room but with big water problems (when you flushed the toilet, the water would explode from the sink making a really noisy sound and when you were showering the water didn't want to leave until you flushed the toilet). No free parking in front of the hotel! There is only the public one in front of the hotel which you had to pay, and you can not park more than 2 hours. Very loud the whole night! Hotel was in the part of the town near the river where a lot of people go out and get very, very, very drunk and in 3 or 4 A.M. they yell and scream, and are smashing bottles on the parking lot!
The hotel have recently been renovated so this invalidates previous comments saying that the rooms are old and dusty. The rooms are clean, small but functionnal. The location is ideal. However the rooms are noisy, lots of drunk people late at night making noise in the street. Internet/WIFI is free and fast with good reception from the room. Noise
Friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, I had lots of bed bug bites as a result of my stay at the hotel.
