The bed was very comfortable The bathroom was oddly designed, with the glass shower screen the same end as the towel holder and which was within the shower / bath enclosure, yet the shower intallation was in the middle of the long wall as opposed to the wall at the actual end of the bath, so the screen was pretty useless and towels coul get wet
very good location, walking distance from the main touristic objectives, but well served by public transport that you can access for free with the card the hotel provides - just in case you get too tired of walking; including free transport to and from the airport. very luxurious room with lots of nice touches and little extras to make you feel like a royal. we stayed at this hotel in the middle of november, so pretty cold outside, but my boyfriend found the room a bit too hot, despite putting the aircon at low temperature. it was almost as if the aircon was somehow set not to go lower than 20 degrees C or so. but for me it was perfect. also, for the price of the room I would have expected the breakfast to be included, but the luxurious feel of the room make it easier not to feel too upset about that.
the location of the hotel is very good the smoking room is very small room
Close to railway, red DISTRICT,nice design Very used, spa under critic, expensive breakfast,
Heater did not work.
Staff were very helpfull Location is great
The atmosphere of professionalism in combination with comfort.
clean, professional staff
A good hotel for businessman. The night receptionist was not clever enough to withdraw a block sum from my card , so a had to pay two times!!
Staff was polite and helpful Spa access was nice Bed wasn't comfortable A bit rundown Didn't feel like a 4 star
Beautiful room, lovely presentation, very spacious
They liked the staff, but certain things weren't working. Roomsafe, didn't work and the pool was not heated as promised. Again the staff was very great. The insecurity about the fact that you don't know if you have a view. For the price you should have a view. I went round to ask for this and they couldn't garantuee this. Well, if you know you are full then you know how you are going to devide the rooms. All was well in the end though.
very very splendid hotel !!!
The location of the hotel is the best, rooms are clean and relativly new, the staff of the hotel specially the concierge Jereme and Jonathan were amazingly top class and helpfull. This was a honeymoon trip and within we have visited Rome, Capri, Venice, Geneve, and Paris. This hotel is the only hotel that didn't even bother to give us an upgrade in any way not even a better view room. Other hotel all upgrded us and one hotel gave us thier best suit and it was a 5 start hotel.
The concierge gave false/conflicting answers/suggestions most of the time.
1.Grand Hotel Kempinsky is a luxury hotel, but what was more then excellent was staff attitude , help, and feeling they serve you without feeling they waiting for tips as many times I felt at other hotels, any problem at each level was answered promptly and pleasantly always over any expectations we might have. They give more then necessary on any request like our satisfaction is their only purpose. The hotel restaurants are excellent , the staff very honest in their help thinking for us benefit. We inquired for a special dish -well the waiter suggested that maybe we should share it as it might be enough for sharing. We got this italian speciality it was excellent and indeed enough for two and it was not the most expensive choice on the menu. They give us cards for public transport in Geneva good for train, bus or tram, or the boat in front of the hotel to take us over the lake in the middle of Geneva downtown. Only point of weakness we found was the slow WIFI in our room, but instead they gave us free wired internet connection super fast both at upload and download. That served any business connection I needed.
Restaurants and Business services
service room service
Breakfast. All was so fresh and very tasty! NO
excellent staff, very pleasant surroundings, very comfortable, room quiet. Food very good.
very good location the leisure facilities were closed for refurb ,also the bar and 2 of the restaraunts - we were not informed by e-mail about this
The pool and related facilities were very good
It met all my needs
good value by Geneva standards and walking distance to lake, station, shops and restaurants. lounge and bar facilities were quite small.
Warm and accommodating front desk personnels, feels like we were not in Geneva (you know how bad the service is around Geneve)
Excellent and very comfortable rooms, excellent service
Clean and quiet hotel; food was good, small but cosy bar, friendly staff except for the breakfast crew. 35 SwFr for parking per night seems a bit steep! Swiss Brkfast staff were grouchy all three mornings.
The location was great - right next to the train/bus/taxi station. For the price, this was a reasonable hotel. We asked for a load of laundry to be done and they did it promptly within a day. Charges for the luandry were high but not exorbitant. No room service available. No restuarant in the hotel.
Modern, clean room, freindly staff, very close to the town center. Parking expensive (chf 40/day), breakfast not included in the price
the location and the view from the window
The Hotel Staff was friendly no
When you click on the executive delux rooms pictures you see a very nice terrace that overlook Geneva Lake, makes you so excited to see the room. at the check-in they tell you we're sorry we just have two rooms that overlooks the lake and they are not available. try
We knew from the moment we entered the hotel, that we were going to enjoy our stay at Hotel N'vy. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the check-in process as simple as possible. I loved the modern features of the room, from the lighting to the bathroom. We had a very well stocked mini bar full of good quality spirits, wine and soft drinks - as well as snacks. My sister and I both really enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning. I personally found the hotel to be great value for money for Geneva and is deserving of 5 stars. The overall ambiance of the hotel was lovely and I would definitely like to return.
Clean and modern with friendly staff. Close proximity to railway station. Not sure if it's typical of Swiss hotels, but the lights in the room were incredibly dim, presumably for energy efficient purposes, but not much help when trying to read in bed!
Location clean tranquile modern Close to train station helpfull staff No comments
The staff was very helpful. They give you a free tram card for your entire stay, a map of the city and any recommendations you need. They were great. Elevators are tiny but that is not so important.
Clost to train station, clean and price is reasonable
elegant decor in the hotel lobby, close to the rail station, and good air conditioning. It location! Páquis an undesireable area of Geneva. Run-down, dirty, seedy place where prostitutes, drug dealers, and the homeless roam day and night. Overpriced rooms for the location and lack of facilites.
The staff was excellent and very helpful. Mrs Giroldelli's service at the bar was very friendly and professional. We like everything and we will definately come back
It was very clean, nicely decorated, and the staff were nice and helpful. Quite good situation, close to one of the two main town centers. It would have been convenient to have some automatic means to lift the baggage up the first four steps to access the elevators. Also, at one time very loud noises frome some adjacent room were heard (a meeting room?) for quite some time.
The hotel was well located, walking distance to the main train station, and close to lots of walking and tourist areas. They give you a free transit pass for all buses and trams, and the hotel steps from a tram station. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and organized rooms. Location is also close to a local red light district, so some of the surrounding areas are a bit seedy, but seedy Geneva is a clean neighborhood in most other cities. Room climate control was not adjustable and room was just too hot in the winter.
Clean, comfort, near station and Good staff at the reception. Noise from room servants at the morning.
very close to the main train station, nice and clean, staff helpful we had requested for a double bed but we only got 2 single beds stuck together.we asked reception if we could have a double bed room as requested but receptionist said they dont have any doubles! The rate for the hotel was quite high considering there was no breakfast included, but hotels in geneva are expensive!
The front desk folks were polite and helpful, the wifi worked great, the location couldn't be more convenient. N/A!
This is an immaculate boutique hotel. Excellent services.
I was forced to wait my room up to 4:00 p.m.
Very attentive staff who were most helpful. I damaged my knee skiing and the stafdf happily brought ice packs to reduce the swelling.
Everything The room was a bit small
Perfect! very comfortable, very beautiful, everything is well done! no compliances at all!!
The service and style other than in the restaurant The very poor service in the restaurant
very helpful staff, excellent location close to shoping, transportation and to a beutiful scenery meanly the "lake le man" rooms a little bit small
Excellent and absolutely stunning location, Windows restaurant not cheap but serves great food, convenient entertainment at leopard room till 2 a.m, staff give personal and friendly service always - we were accompanied to the up market night club across the road by a leopard room senior staff member and that's really brilliant.
the hotel is beautifully positioned at the lake right infront of the water taxi , part of the public transportation .Amazing breakfast !(not included) every hour some roomservice was given , which for us was a bit too much .
The staff were very courteous. We had a nice view from our window. The lounge near the entrance is lovely but the furniture is very uncomfortable. Room 123 was nicely decorated. Room 324 less so. Both nights were disrupted by loud music from the bar below. After midnight on the 2nd night, we asked to be moved to another room. Packing our luggage and moving (into a worse room) added to the aggravation of the noise problem. We lost 4 hours sleep and received no compensation on our bill when we checked out. We would not choose this hotel again.
Good hotel, good breakfast, quite good services.Close to the Leman lake. Cold atmosphere.Weird surroundings.
Friendly and smiling personel at the reception ready to help you .
Both rooms booked were double occupancy but on more than one occasion only one cup and one milk supplied. Requests for an additional cup was ignored on one occasion, needing a repeat phone call to reception.
The staff was incredibly nice! I've been upgraded which is always pleasing.
location is very close to everything Staff unfriendly
services like the spa and free internet, location in the city, nice room, friendly staff
Some of the staff at both the reception and restaurant were not as helpful as expected and had an attitude as if doing us a favour even to answer to us
Location, room size Service at the breakfast could be improved
quiet and comfortable no restaurant or bar by 2100hrs! Only expensive room service - a rip off and not at all socially welcoming.
We liked the Novotel Geneva Center hotel, the location was good, easy 10 min. walk to old town across the bridges. We staid in Novotel Hotels before in Bern & Munich and the are all well appointed and offer great services and pleasant stay. We like the rooms and our 5 year old daughter had her own comfortable bed and breakfast was included. Walking distance to the train station (less than 10 min.). There was a bad smell in the toilet room, but it wasn't so terrible. Overall every thing was great. If we are in Geneva we will come back to Novotel.
The hotel room was very beautiful and the staff always wanted to attend to our every need.
very cordial staff, lake view from the room, the Spice Resto, wonderful natural flowers decoration everywhere. nothing wrong
The Hotel pw was, as always, exceptional. The room upgrade that I received made it all that much nicer. The staff always treat me like family. Even on arriving the they recognized me as a frequent guest who had simply "been away" for a while.
Bayview and Arabesque, two of the hotel's restaurants, had some of the best food I tried in Geneva. The staff was friendly and their service flawless.
location I requested a higher floor with a lake view however when i got there the gave me a room on the 1st floor with a swimming pool view so I had to go throught a hassle of changing the room.
The room was excellent! Hotel is situated a little bit far from the main shopping street
nice room parking is very ecpensive 40 frank per night
the music in the bar in the evening was actually a disco - not exactly what you expect in a 5 star hotel. will not go again
quality of service
The location the servis in restaurant and bar was poor, most of the young staff was unprofesional
The staff were all exceptionally helpful. The bar was delightful and the breakfast excellent. The lobby decor is a bit strange....
The staff was outstanding. It is exactly what you would expect from a hotel of its reputation. The food was way over priced, and not very good at all. The very same reason we chose the hotel turned out to be its downfall. It was New Years eve and we just wanted to walk 1 block to the lake, and my husband got pick pocketed. Afterwards we were advised that is not safe at night to leave the hotel. That defeated the reason we chose the location in the first place. Did I say how bad the food was?????
a luxury hotel, deserving of its membership in Dorchester. Extremely kind staff. For the price, ought to include a nice breakfast as in other Swiss hotels we stayed in.
All the hotel staff called me by my name since the moment I arrived. Location is excellent, but it is not the best in the city. With the same price I could have got better.
Everything was perfect, but very expensive, personnel very polite and welcoming, very well trained, smiling, warm. The effort done to memorise the name of guest is very nice, I felt that personnel of the hotel was so much good, every one knows his job perfectly. It was a real pleasure staying at this excellent hotel. We was upgraded to a bigger room, and we apreciate it. I have some comments on internet which is not free, and very , very expensive, 35 CHF is a lot for 24 hours, usually when I travel in 5 stars hotels around the world, it is free. They should make it free considering the nightly rates 765CHF. Spa treatment excessively expensive, 860 CHF for 2 massage & 2 treatment is huge, breakfast 96CHF is absolutely out of the standard. Finally for the money we paid the quality of the tissue paper in the room was less than poor, and the mini soaps was not changed during our stay for 4 days!!, they really should have bigger soaps if they dont change that offen. I hope they will do an effort on the different comments I made, I really would like to get back to this hotel in the summer maybe.Regard
the room was quiet cold and noissy because of the aircondition what i could no close....
Convenient location Noise and vibration from electrical unit behind bed
The confort of the room the efficiancy of the staf the restorant was very good for breakfast and diner the location is very handy you can wall to every where in the town Nothing that I can recall
Location of the Hotels is superior, food is one of the best in the city, every guest feels recognised and welcomed. I would recommend the Hotel to my every friend. No
The bed was wonderful, The staff was very helpful. The facilities are great. The price was high but the premeir location in a cosmopolitan city masde it bearable.
good location, good view, good service stairs required to access restaurant, tiny portions in restaurant
The staff were very concerned to meet out every need. WHen we arrived there had been major road closures and we had to park our car 10 mins walk away from the hotel. At their suggestion, they went and collected the car from where we had left it and brought it back to the hotel. They also helped us with other practical questions, with commitment, initiative and imagination.
It is an old fashioned hotel with service put at a premium. As a privately owned hotel it is unique and does not feel part of a chain.
large, spacious room, beautiful hotel in a very central location,Excellent service
In a hotel of this price class, a small flower, some fruit and piece of chocolate on the pillow would significantly improve the feeling.
its a too expensive accomodation
Location and Quality of the Restuarant View from the room
Excellent location (lake is just 2 min walk), very friendly and helpful staff, well-designed rooms, comfortable bathrooms (incl. bathrobes and slippers) I think sound isolation could be improved: in the morning through my door I could here other hotel guests (on the same floor) leaving their rooms
Very clean room with aroma. Welcome fruits were delicious. Walking distance from the railway station and the bus terminal to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. No bathtub.(Only shower was available.)
Convenient hotel with very friedly staff, cool rooms, very comfortable beds, well designed and free in room Nespresso coffe.
Staffs are very helpful, friendly and welcoming, modern hotel decor, clean, location is close to everything
Room was clean and nicely decorated indeed. Hotel is centrally located, right in heart of red-light district. Very noisy all night long as the red-light district is full of life as always. Wi-fi was not functioning. Some "champagne welcome voucher" was absolutely useless. 50ml whiskey cost US$50 in a bar. Breakfast was a joke.
Friendliness and cooperation of staff. Hotel is overpriced, but I understand it is in Geneva.
Excellent staff, good food, comfortable and classy. Good size with easy access. Lack of parking could be a problem.
The staff was excellent, very chic. The menu in the bar was very limited. It was a open plan (the bathroom is basically in your bedroom. Most importantly you are one block away from a "sex district" so there were prostitutes all over the place if you take a wrong turn at night.
A nicely designed and comfortable hotel, with helpful staff. Good value.
Excellent and facilities and a great location. An expensive hotel but outstanding in every respect.
I stayed in the EastWest hotel for the second time, and definetivly stay once again. The hotel is very nice inside and feels like at home.
free transport tickets friendly staff some sockets not working
Convenience of location - comfortable accommodation None
The design of the room was excellent. Interesting lighting and furniture, and a very modern bathroom with a fantastic large, tiled shower. The staff was a bit slow, and the entrance to the hotel is not on a pleasant street. These are minor complaints.
Lady at reception on arrival was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information. The hotel was easy to get to from the train station. We had luggage with wheels on and were able to walk easily in about 10 minutes.
The room was nice. All facilities worked. The room was too warm. I suggest that you start airconditioning earler in spring. The breakfast was a little too expensive.
Bed is extremely comfortable and very close to public transportation. I think this is true for all of Swiss hotels. Our room is tiny and feels a little claustrophobic especially if there are two people in the room.
Nice receptionists, confortable room. None of the two magnetic door keys worked when I returned to the hotel at 23:30. There was no-one at the reception and I had to call a phone number for someone to open the door for me. I had to wait for half an hour for a Securitas guy to arrive. He finally opened the door for me, after filling out a form. Not really a pleasant experience.
Pretty good location; 5 mins from Gare Cornavin, walking distance to the lake. I liked the shower - good water pressure! The single room was very small.
We loved the spacious high ceilinged room the windows opening to the quaint courtyard and the tasteful decor.
Cleanliness and the pleasant front desk receptionist. We were give a room without air-con on the 1st floor. We asked for another room and found out that the rooms on the 4th floor only have air-con (it was 30°C in Geneva). But the air-con turns off automatically at night. The reception is closed as from 11:30 PM until 07:00 AM and there was no way to check what could be done about the room's cooling system.
The central location and proximity to the train station, the staff are good, and the room as well.
Confortable, good price for Geneve hotel standard usually expensive expensive brekfast for what offers
The location was fantastic. The hotel really felt like home, really nicely decorated...I would return back.
The room was very nice, lovely decorated and very comfortable.
The quality and style of furnishing was excellent as we're all of the staff with whom we had the pleasure to meet.
Spacious rooms; nice decor; lots of thoughtful extras; staff very friendly.
free WLAN & public transportation pass included
Comfort, location (close to transport links, and railway station). Quiet room. Although location is good it is in a rather run down area.
very friendly and helpful reception staff - excellent location - the room was a little stuff y - the Air conditioning isn't very good
free internet access included / very nice decoration
It's a very good choice for a city trip. We stayed for 1 night in the end of our travel before coming back home. It was pleasure to stay at Kipling Manotel. The hotel is near the station. It has very nice design and very nice personal. The room has a kettle. Everything was OK.
The courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness of the establishment and the proximity to the city. We should have taken the street car free ride but didn't have enought time. I'm sure it would have been a wonderfull way to see the area. We could not understand if there was a kitchen at Kipling, why anyone would sign up for breakfast at 18Sf for a coffee and croissant and how the afternoon cocktail hour worked. Was there a restaurant at Kipling? The three restaurants for which we were given discount tickets may very well have been overpriced. We only went to one. It was over-priced and under-staffed. We thought Portobello would be some of the same and didn't care to go for the yodeling at dinner in the Swiss restaurant.
Great Hotel, nice rooms, nice location. Very clean Yes the loby smells cheese :) Not the rooms
The location was great and the staff was polite. We were resting on our first day only to have another guest come into our room. The front desk accidentally assigned another guest to our room. Thank goodness we were in our room. I sure the man was honest but we didn't like that someone could just come in.
Very nice decoration.... Great location The restaurant in the Hotel is just great. Thank you for everything..
near the lake and cleaning no
Very friendlly staff and nice hotel also close to the lake and so quite
Ready for early check-in, which was not expected by us Very helpful staff at the front desk Comfortable enough Close to things to see and do Safe neighborhood Breakfast too expensive, but plenty of other places available
great location small beds!! but I guess this is the standard in europe
We had a large and well-appointed room in a hotel quite near to the centre of Geneva. Good and free wifi, bathroom with a bathtub (not just a shower). Good value for Geneva. The lighting in the room is too dim to read in bed. I would suggest investing in some higher-wattage light bulbs. The reception advised us that the Seleve cable car would be open but it was not, so we wasted a trip. And the lobby really does smell of cheese (but not the room).
The hotel was setup like a Swiss Lodge, we arrived to a plate of fruit and bottle of wine which was fantastic, accompanied by the Geneva travel card which made our day perfect. Comfortable bed, clean room. Fantastic hotel. I didn't like Geneva, but thats not this hotels fault.
Friendliness of staff, quality of room and cleanliness. Value for central location. Shower hose was leaking. Very small lift. Handrails on main stair were inadequate for 'senior' citizens. Poor sound proofing of door between rooms.
Friendly People, good internet Shower broken, very small shower/toilet location, little offer on tv,
Helpful reception staff and staff at the buffet. The furnishing of the rooms is modern. Shame about the location. Several things - the walls of the rooms are paper thin, and so you can hear your neighbours conversation and everything else! I also I did not like the location and the difficulty in entering the hotel, especially at night. It should be clearly indicated on the website that the hotel is in the red light district, that it is difficult to access the hotel entrance due to the crowds of people hanging outside drinking, smoking etc. Not suitable for female travellers or families at all! I checked out after one night. The second room I was given
Excellent hotel None
Breakfast was really good; room and hotel were very clean; lots of hot water, bed and pillow were comfortable; friendly and helpful staff. Condition of paint and plaster work in shower was not perfect and one assumes that daily showering will create more damage. This might be something that the hotel should address
Fittness and Sauna are very good Too small rooms, small Breakfast buffet (i.e. missing Nature yogurt), Sauna was broken (not more than 60°C)
The Windsor Hotel is located within walking distance of Cornavin (train station) , the bus station and easy walking distance to the lake. The hotel, having a modern minimalist, design was clean and comfortable. While the room was small it was adequate for our visit. Breakfast was fine with fresh fruit, cheeses, meat, hard boiled eggs and a variety of breads. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions of activities in the off season, when tours are not operating. The exercise room was large and well equipped for a hotel of its size. This hotel is one the edge of the Red Light District, however we were not bothered by people on the streets. If one is strictly English speaking, there were no English TV stations subscribed such as BBC news. The in room amenities were scarce, while we had a coffee machine, there were no cups, nor coffee. Our room had no desk or table.
The sfuff was not very helpful or nice. Also the location of the hotel is not that great-not very pleasant part of the city. On the other hand the hotel was clean, the room small but cosy. Location and personal.
Access to the spa/gym and delicious continental breakfast included Wireless access was through an unsecured server with an expired security certificate---I connected anyway because I had to work, but it made me nervous.
Clean, good gym, breakfast with good coffee, close to train and bus stop Street noise a bit much on Friday night, need to fix so key card gives access to gym
The hotel was ok and in a good cenral position near to shops and restaurants and the station Hotel in red light district and this was very obvious. Also the bar staff were a bit slick in terms of wrong change etc. passed off as a mistake.
Confortable bed, free wi-fi Small Room,
a little bit expensive ;=)
The decor, cleanliness and convenient location Very rough tissues.
The room and the service. I liked everything, execept the eggs for breakfast, they where green.
This hotle was very nice.
Quiet, welll located hotel with comfortable rooms with lovely modern decor and friendly and helpful staff. For one who has visited Geneva more than 30 times in the past 10 years, this is one of the nicest hotels with good value for money. I had trouble using the remote control which was never resolved in the end
The hotel style is really nice. The buffet breakfast, even if at additional cost, is above european standards. I stayed for 26 days. I really would like to have even a small excersice room.
Everything was excellent. They let me check in as soon as the room was ready and later the day of my departure. They had everything I needed, the rooms were excellent, attractive and clean. I will certainly come again. To be honest 18 francs for breakfast is a bit high.
Good location, comfortable and quiet. Not working equipment.
Very nice hotel in an okay location. Very clean everything very tasteful. Geneva is full of horrible hotels so this was a rare find.
Nice design hotel with Asian theme. Very helpful staff. All facilities, and large rooms. Good breakfast. Location close to city centre, in the immediate vicinity of a tram stop, and public-transport passes are provided by the hotel for free. Wireless Internet was free-of-charge, but had ridiculously low capacity, so that web browsing was not really possible, and even handling emails was difficult.
parking the car was a nightmare the hotel was on a one way system however now i know where to put car it was quite easy but as a first time visiter to the hotel it took a good hour to find a carpark and not being familiar with geneva my husband stumbled onto finding a carpark it was only just around the corner from hotel but no one told us,i can reccomend the restaurent accross the road too
close to city centre and main train station, cosy hotel, good clean rooms, excellent breakfast !!, hotel provided free access to city transportation (bus, boat, train) it is a little noisy, however it didn't bother us much
Good Room Size, Nice Reciption, Good Breakfast, Free Apples at reciption :) The Elevator is too small, Barely enough for me and my bag. If you are fat, you might feel uncomfortable in the elevator
Proximity to train station and Lake Geneva Proximity to red light district, next door to sex shop and prostitutes on the street
breakfast was good. good location. comfortable rooms
Efficient, friendly staff. Very well equipped with A/C, TV channels,coffee/tea maker, bathroom toileteries. Good breakfast included.Covered Public parking right behind hotel. A bit noisy and a bit too close to Geneva's very active Red-light district
Location and helpfull staff
Close to train station. One staff member was rude and unhelpful.
I really love the breakfast provided. There was variety in the food served and plenty of apples around! The hotel is located about 400m from the train station. Not sure if some people mind this but the hotel is actually situated in the red-light area.
Friendly people Very small rooms, old hotel,
Proximity to train station. Price. Courteous, helpful staff. Proximity to red light district. Sound insulation between rooms.
location is very close to WMO, where I attended meeting, and the most participants stayed in this hotel, so that I could communicate with them during breakfast. Hotel also is very clean, and staffs are very polite. No free Internet, and rooms are too small.
Hotel has just been refurbished on the 1st floor and my room was in tip-top condition. Good breakfast with excellent coffee. Much better value than some of the hotels further into the city. They forgot to give me a free tram pass for the Geneva tram system.
Reception staff are helpful Housekeeping
Location - professionalism of the staff - quietness - style of the hotel - detail ( internet connection - local envent list - free transportation ticket....) None
It was a clean hotel with friendly staff. the breakfast which was included in the price was very good. A 15-20 minute walk takes to an area with many restaurants. Bus access is easy and nearby. There was no bath tub in the bathroom.
The buffet breakfast was quite nice, including very fresh croissants & pastries. Restaurant not open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Good service and nice hotel
Clean, comfortable, good public transport links
I asked in my booking for a room with pake view, but it is provided even it is mentioned in the conformation that I received.
comfortable room ; quietness; friendly dining room staff; free travel pass general efficiency no
quiet room small but everything available.
excellent staff, very pleasant, convenient to UN, great bus connection to train station and airport, quiet & safe neighborhood, on Lake Geneva by parks for morning walk. A very pleasant alternative to busy train station area business hotels. For Geneva prices, excellent value.
I was persuaded to stay at the Mon Repos due to its alleged proximity to the UN, where I was going on business. I was sorely disappointed. The rooms are small and stuffy.Apart from an attempt at "modern" decor, and a mediocre breakfast, you get very little value for your money. I cannot believe that they hotel had the audacity to charge over 250 francs for a twin room for terrible services and facilities! Mon Repos has no air-conditioning in the rooms. You are forced to open the window! Terrible noise from the cars on the road ! The fan in the room was inadequate. The service is poor and slow. The waitress at breakfast was rude and nosey. The bar at the hotels mediocre, closed on Fridays and Saturdays and charges high prices for frozen reheated pizza. In the end I fled to the Intercontinental. For a pool, air conditioned room , respectful service and good food, I'd rather pay more. Avoid at all costs !
Very friendly and efficient staff. No air conditioning.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and comfortable, it's located on a main road and they provided free internet in the lobby. I wish they provided dinner because for someone who stayed there for work, I had to walk into town to find some food options. If they can start to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel itself, it would be perfect. I put that the value for money was not great, but that's because everything in Geneva is expensive.
Breakfast was ok The wall was really thin and I could hear everything done in the other rooms (big problem!)
Helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Good location. Very well connected both to the center and the UN with public transport and 10 minutes walking distance from each. Wi-fi in the rooms is too expensive. However it is available free of charge in the lobby area.
hotel staff yes telephone not working in the room
location works being undertaken at hotel and we were not advised. no view from room due scaffolding & sheets
hotel staff's professionalism the room that was located on the street side was a bit noisy
Good location, clean room.
The terrific location and the friendliness of the staff.
Comfortable rooms and staff There should be more variety of food at breakfast, e.g. scrambled/fried eggs because when you come on business for one week....
Wellington located near the train station Very noisy, not very clean, bed very uncomfortable. This being said, not sure you can find better in geneva for this price (chf 170)
It is near to rialway station. Some problems with hot water
Courtesy of hotel personnel in resolving the problems of tourists the wireless is not free of charge
