Location for shopping and eating out at night. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. En-suite bathroom required some improvements.
Location was supurb. The receptionist was friendly. Facilities in the room were adequate The bed could be beter
Nice spacious and clean appartment, comfortable bed Traffic noise
The location was fantastic and value would be hard to beat Room was clean however in need of freshening up
great value for money. spacious ( much more than a hotel room) the only slight issue was the smell of curry in the corridor.
First class accommodation, convenient for central Glasgow, facilities, shooping, restaurants etc etc etc! Staff were great. Superb. Not one thing
The checkin process was easy and location is excellent. The rooms are big and having separate kitchen/living area is a nice alternative to a hotel especially if staying for a few nights or more. The lifts are slow but that's about it
Location in the Merchant City was what was wanted, and delivered
Friendly staff, good facilities, great location. No complaints.
The rooms are fabulous. A very comfortable stay. Easy walk into town, the shops & restaurants. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
I have previously stayed at Residence 6 in Leeds and was very impressed. Whilst Fraser Suites was ok - it certainly wasnt what I expected. Decor was tired, the carpets were grubby, the furniture was scratched and looked tatty. The bathroom was very tired (mouldy grouting in places). Didnt live up to my expectations and probably wouldnt book to go there again. First impressions were good, on further inspection you noticed the above. Not really a 4*, maybe at one time it was? see above.
Freedom and space
,Reception staff were very ,helpful and this is an excellent hotel. This is the second time I have used it I think that £16.75p is far too expensive for a full breakfast.
I loved the whole experience. You couldn't find a more convenient location. It was a bit overpriced.
Great central location. Helpful and friendly staff.
I enjoyed the caring way the staff cared for everyone, nothing was to much trouble for them. No complaints at all.
I stay at Millenniuem for it's central location, friendly staff and good atmosphere.
The location was superb, the staff friendly and the room comfortable. The shower was excellent- one of the most important things in a hotel! The room was perhaps a little bit dated, but having said that, very pleasant.
Very convenient and central. Very near station. Great value for money. Efficient and friendly service. A little noisy from station
Very central Breakfast not too hot
Comfy hotel in a central location. Not being able to get a taxi via reception. Was recomended by reception staff to go to taxi stand at queen st station where we waited 50mins for cab. Would rather have waited in the hotel. Have always been able to have a taxi pick up at any hotel we have stayed in before.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the club lounge for a quiet compliementary drink was great I did not find anything wrong with this hotel
All staff were extremelly pleasant and helpful. Great central location None- no problems at all
This hotel was rated 5 star on your web site but doesn't merit this rating, either for the facilities or for the dining room - 4 at a stretch. We are compparing it to the Balmoral in Edinburgh, also reserved through your site which is definitely a 5 star.
The location and the size of the room were excellent for the money - I will stay here again and recommendto others.
Room was great & reception staff very helpful.
Very cute decor in clean, spaceous rooms. Well stocked free mini bar in each room. Also, the 7th floor lounge was a great feature with cozy chairs, free internet, computers, bar and snacks. Only a short one block walk from Queen St train station, easy even with our luggage.
Clean, well organised. Rooms are pretty quiet overall. Somewhat quirky free alcohol available in rooms!
Friendliness of staff Noise from extractor fans outside building.
Central location Parking facilities
The temperature in the room was quite high and we couldnt get it low enough.
The room was very nice No car parking, the nearest car park was a 5 minute uphill walk. The breakfast was very poor. I had to ask the same girl, who didn't understand english very well for coffee 3 times. I stayed for 3 nights and had to get the room keycard re-activated each day. It was the first and last time I will stay at this hotel
Well positioned for all facilities offered by Glasgow City We would have liked a lounge/bar facility the reception area being small meant having to always go to the bedroom.
Very godd location and a modern building with easy access. Disabled room was a little tired looking and the bathroom door was difficult.due to wear.
The staff were friendly. The locagtion was great and the facilities were first class. Room and breakfast were just right. No complaints at all.
None You could call it jumping on the bandwagon due to concerts being held at Hampden,Overpriced, poor quality of service and food
The bed was comfortable, the location was great and the hotel was quiet. I also liked the self check in facilities, although it did mean that I did not talk to any hotel staff the whole time I was staying at the hotel, so can not really comment on the level of service and staff. The breakfast was expensive so we went elsewhere.
The room was very clean & comfortable. It was also quiet. Nothing!
Staff very friendly and nice, easy going hotel, A bad smell in the bathroom like urine
Fast, efficient automated check-in and check-out but with friendly staff support. Clean, quiet, well-sized, pleasant room with comfortable bed all essential services and excellent bathroom, hot water etc. Breakfast was fine, freshly cooked and with a wide selection if a little fast-food in feel. No bad points.
A quiet room (top corner of the building); also carpeted corridors and quiet corridor doors. Comfortable, clean bed. Comfortable temperatures, and a thermostat that's easy to understand, with sensible settings. Curtains that keep the room dark at night. Clean bathroom in which everything works. Good breakfast a kettle etc a tv that doesn't dominate the room. Not a bad point really - but some sort of decaff drink by the kettle would be nice, eg a herb tea / decaff coffee.
I have stayed in serveral Premier Inns and they never disappoiont. The one in George Street is very convenient for the city centre as it is just off George Square.
Cleanliness of the room Noise in the middle of the night - guests running and shouting in corridor and noise of traffic, bin men early morning
The food was excellent! The location was perfect, we could walk to everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Cannot think of any negative I.
They are nice comfortable apartments in a good location As the location was new they were a few teething problems that were not too bad i.e. telly did not work, no hi-fi sytem
The location is very good and the facilities are great. I found the staff to be quite awkward, they cancelled my booking days before I was due to stay (with a party of 16), luckily, after many emails and phonecalls, this was resolved, but we still lost out on the deluxe apartment that we had booked 5 weeks previous. I was also charged £50 more than quoted, which I am currently trying to resolve with the staff at the Spires.
Excellent location.Very clean and comfortable.Kitchen was very well equipped. we were given the wrong address for these apartments, booking confirmation gave address as Bothwell Street but the apartments had changed address but the hotel did send taxis to collect us. Not sure who responsible for advising this but in the end other than wasting a bit of time all was sorted.
comfort, cleanliness, spacious little too pricey
The space of the apartment and its location which was quiet and centrally located
The location is superb right in the city center next to George Square and one block away from main shopping area. Facility has modern design and in new condition. - Noisy at night (especially during weekends) as the windows are right on busy street. Rooms are small compared to bed size. Mattresses are not comfortable especially the Sofa Bed. No staff at night until 8am. We had the fire alarm ringing for 1 hour from 7-8am with no hotel staff to give the alarm panel key to the Fireman. Front staff can use more smiles.
Good location, ease of parking and discounted rates. It was nice to have the flexibility of an apartment. The rooms were quite smelly and were not ready for us at check-in.
Nice apartment with plenty of space and well equipped
Reasonably comfortable, light and spacious apartment. Conveniently situated in city centre with parking nearby. Well appointed bathrooms and on-suites and well equipped kitchen Relates to stay on Sunday Aug 8 2010. No staff on reception on Sundays. Standard of cleanliness extremely poor. All kitchen/bathroom/table surfaces very smeared. Floors not swept properly It appeared that the apartment had been used for a party the previous night - looked like a bottle of beer/champagne had been deliberately shaken over kitchen ceiling leaving large stain with no attempt at cleaning.
Everything. What a great place to stay. Great location. The apartment was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The guy on reception was really friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend these aparments to anyone and will definitely stay here again if I return to Glasgow
the room was very hot and stuffy, could not open windows to allow fresh air in
Clean, modern, central, efficient, well-priced
Modern The room we were in was a little small
Location Quite noisy
Breakfast excellent. We were close to the 12 o'clock limit but staff showed no annoyance and .were so helpful, even putting out freshly cooked bacon etc at that time. Twin room a bit small but still value for money.
it was very central for the shops etc and bars
The refund we got due to the complaints we made. If anything? I didn't like anything about it.
Location was great, five minutes from Central Station and very close to everything else The hotel advertises a carpark, and when i checked in I got really vague directions to find it (apparently it's round the back somewhere) - I couldn't find it and had to park elsewhere, which cost a small fortune!
Glasgow city just around the corner---the Cathedral. Hotel staff very helpful.
Warm on cold nights Some noise from street outside, no lift and my room was on 4th floor
I would never stay at this hotel again. It is need of a major refurb. The bed was certainly not a single bed, no handles on the wardrobe, coffee and tea facilities very limited The staff at check in were very polite
Price. Location. Staff Nothing.
Spacious and great location and central for rail and bus links, good comfortable accomadation and great breakfast.staff very friendly and helpful. Should have made been aware of noisey nightclub [are there rooms not facing this club]?,top floor a bit of a hike if elderly or infirmed.
The Chef! very poor standard of cleanliness in the rooms!
The location of the hotel was spot on for our needs
City centre location The Saturday night noise from the clubbers under my window !!
staff were all very friendly & helpful
Beds and the staff were very good Breakfast was pretty por/
Our room was located in the basement beside the breakfastrom. We missed the daylight.
Staff cheerful and helpful - we recognised some from a visit several years ago which must be a good sign. Just what it says on the tin - cheap and cheerful and ideal for a city visit when all you need is a clean bed and a good breakfast. Sorry not to have been there at the right time to feature in Taggart!
Great location, friendly staff. Room too warm
Have stayed many times,reasons....staff always extremely friendly and relaxed.excellent location for shopping, theatre, cinema or catching up with family at a very reasonable price.Have recommended to those whom I feel would enjoy the experience! Music from club.In fairness it doesn't go on till early hours and it is our chioce to stay knowing this.
The staff of the hotel is exceptionally warm and welcoming. The Brunswick has something special going for it. For those who have troubles sleeping, some of the rooms have thin walls and noices from the adjacent bar (mind you, it is a good bar!) may reach lower levels rooms. This did not disturb me, however, and while the rooms are small the bed itself is far comfier and crisper than in similarly priced hotels. Over all, a pleasant and groovy stay.
The room was clean and tidy with the hotel central to all ammenities we required. very satisfied
The location of the hotel is just perfect !! People at the reception are very friendly there ! We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.
The friendly staff & relaxed atmosphere n/a
Central location, clean, warm Quite basic, no remote for tv, room quite small, noise from other guests
Good location Small rooms, shower not particularly clean and drain not functioning properly. Corridors small and dank. Windows need additional glazing.
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, free wifi connection. The compact room is really compact, but it's clearly stated in the reservation form and it's smartly engineered: everything has its own (compact) space. Excellent value for money. Basin is really undersized. The moquette floor needs to be refurbished, the iron too. Generally these are just details, but dealing with a compact room they could easily turn a design room into a sad room.
Friendly welcome and helpful staff, good location for city centre, main station and, by train, to Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre
Broken toilet seat.
