Good quality hotel across the road from the beach
Poor attitute of the people at the reception desk. Their lack of adhearance of meeting there advertised commitments.
The proximity of the hotel to the beach was perfect, just a quick, short walk and there your were. The room and the view from the room was excellent. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, even helping me with my Spanish when I did not know the correct word to use. The cafeteria and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and took time to ask us if we were enjoying ourselves in Torremolinos and offering any assistance. It was a great stay. Absolutely nothing!
Suprisingly nice and helpful staff in view of beeing a large hotel with a lot of guests and traffic in the reception. Nice clean rooms. The beach is a cross the street :-) Fast elevators (we stayed at the 8th floor) Nice sea-view. Wery busy in the restaurant at breakfast during "rush-hour" but efficient.Nice selection and good food. Order your eggs by the chef, as you like them :-)
I enjoyed the beachfront view from our room. The room was clean and had what you would expect from a European hotel room. I'm not a breakfast eater, but enjoy a cup or two of coffee in the morning, was disappointed that there was no coffee machine in our room. When I went to the snack bar, I was unable to get a coffee to take away, I would have to sit there and drink it.
location,breakfast,facilities,staff. Parking spaces very few
The hotel is nice. The view from the room on the sea is beautiful and you just have to cross the small road to get to the beach. And it is quite near to the center and train station. And the breakfast was good as well.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. My hotel room was very comfortable and clean with a lovely sea view. I would definately stay in this hotel again.
The View from my balcony The room next door seemed to be used for airline staff and was very noisy early in the mornings
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the balcony and view were great, and the food was very good. We had the breakfast option. None
sorry but have to do this in English, my German is not so good. The hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and spacy, breakfast buffet was very good, bar was good and service was excellent. i would recommend it to everyone.
Good location with sea view room, great value rate including a very extensive breakfast. Free parking.Great location for excursions to the mountains or Gibraltar Torromolinos as a resort was rather run down and had an out of season feel to it, (early Oct). Cheap bars and resturants as a rule.No complaints regarding the hotel
The situation and the facilities were excellent. The food was most enjoyable.
excellent central location by promenade
location, location, location everthing you needed on your doorstep, beach, pools, shops ,resturants and bars all close by.
Location, pool area, entertainment, bars Food wasn't great, somehow without taste ...although quite a variety;parking space in the hotel is not enough at all- couldnt find a place during 4 days...
It was off season. So, hotel staff changed our room to a bigger room with pool and a little ocean view.
food.good salection reception.some staff do not have time for you.
Nice stuff, Nice room, very close to sea...
Staff, location No wash cloths in the room
location to beach, clean rooms, people did not reserve sunbeds so although not many sun beds you could usually get one.Excellent breakfast Some of the reception staff were surly/rude.Small pool, I was expecting activities for kids there were none.I thought it overpriced given lack of facilities.
Room was spotless. Location was great-- right across the bridge. Were able to park on the street. Breakfast, included in the rate, was very good. Lots of restaurants nearby,
Its an excellent location with friendly staff who were also very helpful.
Location Lack of Ice Machine and Room Service. Front Desk staff uninformed about excursions and events in local area.
going home there was no spar or indoor pool
Convenience for airport and visiting my parents
great breakfast, nice garden and swimming pool weak sound isolation between rooms
very clean, perfect location
The location of the hotel was very good. Safety deposit box in the room The breakfast area needs to be redesigned. The hotel is not four star i would say 2/3 star no free internet acess. i did leave comment at the reception area.
The staff were very friendly, polite and helpfull
Location decor this hotel should be a 5 star. We thought that the staff could not be more helpful. We were glad spainish strike happened other wise we would have not have found hotel, This hotel was recommened my our friend and mary was spot on. Will stay again. Nothing
great location, very nice pool and grounds, nice rooms beds too hard, not enought english tv stations only news channels, gym equipment needs to be better maintained and oiled ( squeeks alot) area needs to be air conditioned, breakfast staff not personable at all,
Spacious rooms, we changed from double standard to superior to have a seaview. Hotel was free with its bathroom amenities, for once enough towels available and cleaning very accurate too. Nice pool bar with lunch menu and staff. Beach service man very client orientated too. This al creates a nice atmosphere and made us feel welcome. The isolation rather poor, maybe due to all that marble? We stayed in the old building and the airconditioner was rather loud too. Had to switch it off in the wee hours to get some sleep. It functioned allright, though. We missed few hooks on the balcony to dry swimming gear. But maybe its because it would spoil the nice facade if clothes found hanging? The balcony ceiling being transparent...
An spectacular location on the seafront offering a great standard of food and facilities. Providing that old-fashioned 'Service with a smile'.
the great attitude of the staff towards us,the poolside cafeteria and the quality of the food served reasonable prices having to leave as the hotel is closed till feb. next year
Foyer and breakfast was excellent position of hotel was very good in my opinion. Hotel room was cleaned well. My room was very small and looked and felt "old / tired" I was expecting a much better room considering it was 4 star hotel and the cost. It also claimed it had wifi in every room this was not the case. When I asked the receptionist he just shrugged his shoulders and said not every room had wifi. This was one of the reasons I selected this hotel.
Close to the beach. Nice pool Food was just O.K.
I thought the pool was excellent, and the hotel was just what we wanted. Nice rooms and good breakfast. The beds were a bit hard for my liking, but I had a nice sleep in spite of it.
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, staff were very courteous & helpfull. Great variety both in the morning for breakfast & dinner at night. hotel was spotless, grounds very well maintained.
We chose the hotel because of the spa facilities which we found to be just as they had been described. Excellent location right on the beach within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. Reasonable prices in the bar and restaurant. Staff were courteous, well informed and had language skills. The breakfast buffet was definitely "4 star" with a wide range of foods to suit even the most discerning palate however the cereals were unappetizing, otherwise everything was of the highest quality and abundant. The plastic card on the table stating that food should not be taken out of the restaurant was tacky and unnecessary. One last point the Spa should remain open on all day Sunday and and all other days. Our room 520 unfortunately had broken tiles on the terrace which were dangerous to our bare feet.
location Room was very basic
Location = perfect! Nightlife = incredible! Food = excellent! Pool was very dirty, no maintenance had been done for quite a while. the interior of the hotel was a bit dated a bit of refurbishment needs to be done to make it a real 4 star hotel and the fridge in room would only be connected if you bought 10 items from the list(more than 20 euros in drinks)
The location was close to plenty of restaurants and right on the beach. The refrigerator costs extra to have it turned on. It was difficult to find lounge chairs by the pool and the ones by the beach cost different prices depending one who approached you.
Location and much for the money The personal was not exactly intrested in helping out and they were not there when we needed them. A big minus was the system of the minibar where you had to buy 10 Items just to have them turning it on...
The food was reasonable although the furnishings (sofa) were well past their sell by date and unusable although the bed was however comfortable. The flushing of our and other toilets was extremely loud but there was no filling of the tank sound that helped. Shame about the re-construction of the swimming pool that we were not aware of until we got to the hotel We were not able to sit on the sofa in the room because of extreme overuse and in need of replacement. The food was all right but it would have been nice to have had a hot meal. The food was spread too far apart and by the time you went all around the hall getting your meal and getting to your seat the meal was cold.
Location of the hotel was excellent, the facilities were also excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. All in all this was good value. No
Short distance to the beach. Nice staff. Free use of tower (depositum 10 euro) for the beach/pool. Change of tower coast 1 euro. Short distance to Bealmáda (marina). Bus to Torremolnos near the hotel. You must pay 2 euro x 10 (water/beer) to use the freezer.
Buffet dinner very good no tea or coffe making facilitys in room and paying to get fridge turned on
It was clean. The food was good. The staff were pleasant. It was only a 10 min taxi drive from the airport. Not rearly
Internet services very bad
Entertaing shows in the evening. Nice pool and close to beach. The all inclusive was adequate at best.. Free water, coffee, juice and Champagne for breakfast.. At dinner you had to pay for water? That makes no sense.. Food selection was fair but in five nights, seldom were things hot, disappointing.
Great location only a couple of minutes from the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little dated, but perfectly comfortable. The food in the restaurants was not that great - there are plenty of other restaurants outside the hotel, which tend to be cheaper as well.
Clean, nice food, would have liked an "All inclusive" option
All of the staff I interacted with were nice, pleasant, friendly people. It is close to the beach. How does this get 4 stars? I'm not sure this building deserves 3 stars. The hotel is tired and worn out.
We stayed in the hotel for a week and it was our first holiday in 15 years without the kids. I got a great deal with booking.com and i was so glad i had booked it when i did. For us the hotel had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean everywhere. We loved its location right beside the beach and although we did not use the pool much it was great loads of loungers and shaded areas for everyones use. I cannot comment on the restaurant though as we did not eat there at all. We like to try somewhere new every night but it looked good and always busy. The room was spotless and cleaned everyday fresh towels and anything you wanted. I really liked this hotel and would go back again next year (maybe with kids maybe not!! The only bad thing i would have to say about this hotel was the lady behind the bar she was so rude. I only had one drink in there and we didn't go back. And i'd love for once to go away and sleep in a really comfortable bed. They are very hard but you do expect it out foreign. Having said that there was extra pillows which i was very glad of!
jakuzzi in the room
I liked the hotel. It has a very spacious restaurant and the buffet was alright. They also have an Italian corner built into the restaurant which incidentally I did not realize until I had finished my buffet meal. There were Italian dishes you could choose from. This section is adjacent to the main buffet.Pity we were not aware of it until we had finished our buffet dinner!! I did not like that there was not any serrano ham or queso manchego (typical of 4 stars hotels on the Costa) and also no Paella on the buffet which we look forward to tasting whenever we go to Spain. Although the food was good , we have had more variety in other Spanish 4 star hotels.
The Don Pablo is well located beside the beach.Has a nice friendley bar around the corner called Teresas Bar that make everybody very welcome. And the hotel is just a few minutes from the airport. The hotel could do with a bit of a modren tuch up
The nice reception when we arrived. The Bedroom we got with the seaview. The breakfast and then the accessability to the beach. No my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying athe the Medplaya and hopefully I will stay there again soon.
That it was on the beach Decadent!!!! Bed was uncomfortable and made lot of noise..... the staff were always in a hurry and just wanted to get rid of you, the people working at the breakfast were the same and had the ability at exactly 10:30 to start cleaning up breakfast and have everything cleared in 5 minutes, the food was horrible drivel (ie british food, beans on toast!) and the other "restaurants" around this hotel were just as bad and charged a shit load of money for the same level of food and terrible service. I cannot say more b/c I stayed there only as long as I needed to and left right after breakfast to better cities with better amenities. Well, in any case, I am not your customer.....you customer comes from the uk, cares less about food and culture.
The Hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Food was varied and very good and the Hotel was situated on the beach in a very good location.
An easy place to stay ...... what I needed for a short break My first evening was in Room 101. Apart from being in dire need of decoration, the noise from the lobby area at the top of the stairs and from the lift shaft meant that I had little sleep on the first night. Although your staff were very courteous and moved me to a better room the next day, I do feel that I had been "stuffed" with 101 ...... there is no way that it is of the same standard as other rooms.
The flexibility and excellent behaviour and service from all the staff. The selection and presentation of the food. The good atmosphere. Very good entertainment. It would have been nice if there had been more information about Torremolinos and the surroundings.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room urgently needed decorating.
The Beach Location & south west facing room to catch the evening sun. I did not like the flies around the pool area, & also a fridge in the room would be good instead of a locked mini bar.
The staff are always welcoming and pleasant when we stay there its like home from home
Spacious hotel with large rooms in a great location Did not have a gym
Free breakfast was good.
Good location, clean, several swimming pools, easy access to shpping, local transportation, friendly staff, too noisy social activities organized by staff Too noisy entertainments organized during the day by staff for guests
Sol Don Marco is a perfect location in Torremolinos situated between the two major beaches, and close to main street, San Miguel, and numerous restaurants both on and off beachfront .Torremolinos beachfront Paseo is very attractive, perfect for strolling, runnnig, cycling etc. City has to be commended for it. Hotel is very clean, staff is friendly. Complete breakfast buffet had lots of choices. Our room with balcony and view of sea and pool was well appointed and very comfortable. Grounds particularly beautiful. Would highly recommend Don Marco to anyone, we will go back. Pool was quite cool, could be kept warmer with solar blanket for shoulder/winter seasons.
it was clean and very close to the beach, comfortable room restaurant staff were not as good, everything was extra like the safe, indoor pool and spa, internet, all had a charge.
This is a quiet hotel with a nice atmosphere and plenty of choice when it comes to pools and recreation thanks to being able to use the facilities of the sister hotels which are located next door. The location is faultless. The evening meal could have done with being of a higher quality with more choice but the wine list was good. The breakfast was very varied although somewhat mass produced, which is normal for a hotel of this size. The free WIFI was a bonus, although it didn't work sometimes unless you opened the room door! The only downside was the food really which could have been cooked to higher standards and more varied. Plus the beds were a little hard!
The lovely potential of the place. Every sound is magnified. Too many smokers on the balconies. Beds not comfortable.
Not a high rise hotel, friendly staff and really good food. Excellent all round. As it was low season when we visited we ate our meals in the very large Don Pedro Hotel restaurant which was not ideal for a couple wanting peace and quiet.
The spa was great! They offer a lot of pampereing choices, but the water therapy alone was very fun and beneficial. The location is right in the middle of everything- perfect. The hotel was beautiful, and the pools were fun and relaxing. The hotel offers parking for a fee, but our car "was too big" for their spaces.
very clean hotel lovely room excellent choice for breakfast good location
Excellent hotel,service and standards.
It was close to the beach, good breakfast, friendly staff and nice rooms.
The position of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff Although their was a good variety of food, the quaity was poor and to see food which was served for one meal later mixed with vegatables and served again for the nextwas very dissapointing.
Having stayed on several occasions this is a very good hotel with excellent entertainments. Location is ideal for us with easy train access to neighbouring resorts. The standard and choice of food has significantly declined during the past two years which is very sad as this was a real selling point for recommendation previously and unfortunately very disappointing.
decent night time shows cruzcampo larger , terrible
Nothing Poor staff, really bad food, bad facilities
plenty of sun beds around pool no fighting for them even though hotel was busy staff very friendly location of hotel another plus as an english tourist staying there would have liked more than two english channels to watch
nothing the hotel was horrible dirty and food was rotten and i will never stay there again everything
cleanliness and quality of food plastic glasses being used in hotel bar in lobby
value for money for all inclusive, lots of choice of drinks, food good choice. the weather but nothing to do with the hotel, I want to book this hotel in January and on booking.com there are no rooms for 4 adults although the room we stayed in room 215 would clearly accomodate 4 adults
Staff friendly, location great, all inclusive good value. Hotel rather tatty! Food like school dinners but you get what you pay for! Good for 1 night stays.
it was very good value for money staff were lovely no complaints
That reception stayed open late enough to check us in at an ungodly hour considering how long it took us to find the place we were worried they would have given us room away. It's ridiculously hard to find. We picked up a rental car at the airport in record time, only to spend nearly an hour trying to find the hotel, because it is so badly marked on the side of the road. What kind of direction is "we're behind the gas station"??.
The hotel may be geografically close to the airport but due to the road layout its a 10 min drive and taxi costs 20 EUR each way.
Cleanliness Very difficult to locate, I suggest a bigger/brighter sign, or better directions,
two blocks away from airport where we arrived after midnight.
Coffe making facilities in room were non functional and blew the electrics each time. In view of this we expected a coffee concession in the cafeteria. The reception staff were very helpful however.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. Despite being called an "Airport Hotel" it is €15 by taxi. It is located at the side of a major road with no facilities nearby. Other people in the hotel had booked directly and paid less.
Fittings and furnishings were of a high standard, everything worked, the bed was very comfortable. The location is just about the worst you can imagine -- in a semi-industrial area. Even though it's close to the airport (almost adjacent), taxis there are very expensive because they apply a minimum charge of Euro 14,50 (18,00 on weekends), and there is no alternative way of getting to the airport, e.g. bus, shuttle or train.
Easy access from motorway, and located close to airport.
Very comfy beds Access a bit tricky off the motorway
Near the airport. Nice host at the reception. Baby bed had a horrible matras! And please mention to take bus A or 19 from the airport and then get out at the first stop "Villa Rosa", cross the road with bridge, hotel behind fuel station.
Rooms were clean and big. It was very difficult to get to because of construction in the area. There was no remote for the TV in the room.
Staff is excellent & very helpful.
Very good and nice hotel situated in the center of Torremolinos. Inside the hotel it reamins quiet and gentle, without any noice or rumours of the outside world. The crowdy town is left behind when you pass the hotel doors
Matress are horrible
The location was the main reason for me.
Because of the location in the centre. There was no internet possibillity, which is very usefull.
it was at the centre of the city which was good, nice n clean. food was good the only thing that ruined our holiday was when we where told it had sat tv, but they didnt tell us that all 35 channels where in spanish and german and not one english channel to be watched esp in winter at nite time. The fact that some german ppl where aloud to sit in the sauna completely naked really made me feel uncomfortable,
The location of the hotel is best. Too noisy both from the street and in the hotel. Walls are too thin. Breakfast is nothing to brag about. We expect a better standard of a grand hotel.
some of the staff were pleasant but not all. not enough variety in the evening meal. hotel needs modernisation.
it was a good place to stay the reception was very slow and understaffed at times
excellent location to center of torremolinos, modern hotel for the area, clean, good price The breakfast buffet was horrible, not worth eating. Better off buying breakfast elsewhere. WiFi in lobby not connected to to intenet and spoke to reception and they had no clue!
comfortable rooms and helpful staff we stayed half board and were disapointed at the lack of fresh fruit available at breakfast
The hotel is making good progress with modernisations and it's easy to see how much better the place is looking. The rooms are good and the air conditioning make them even more comfortable. The main pool is great if a little busy, and the view from the rooftop pool is impressive. Overall, the Cervantes offers good value for money, but don't expect too many 4-star frills. The lifts are painfully slow and there are not enough beds by the pool (I was annoyed so many beds lay unused but covered with someone's towel all day). Don't come for the food. It's not great and the queues are huge. There are lots of good restaurants nearby (to suit all tastes and budgets).
left to do my thing, when a problem occured witm my door access card it was dealt with-and resolved- immediately very noisy, total payment in advance
food Hotel is huge, dirty, room smelled very bad from sewage in the bathroom. Extremely busy and only one lift for hundreds of rooms. Good food but it was an awful crowd at the table. I do not recommend . The worst that I stayed in Spain.
It was too far from beach, some facilities which was stated in site was not available like free safety box or satelite TV
My room was small and there was not much space to move around, the weather was very hot and there were no controls on the air con.
Great value for money, in comparison with other 3* hotels in Torremolinos. Very good variety of food during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Basic variety of food for all inclusive service. Close to the railway station and to the airport (Taxi in the night from hotel to airport costs 18 eur only). Uncomfortable beds, no double bed, only two separated beds available. To many people in the hotel for available lifts, during the peak hours (breakfast, lunch, dinner time) steps instead of lifts using is needed (please, take to account the 10 floors of hotel) Small hotel swimming pool and related place close to it. It is needed to reserve a place in the very early morning. Quite noisy in the pool area and during the peak hours in the restaurant also connected with chaos. Air conditioning also noisy. Far away from the beach, 20 min by foot, a lot of stairs.
All-inclusive option with good food.
It is located at the Torremolinos station. During my stays, there were evening events at the pool of the hotel till 23:00. I wanted to sleep, I was annoyed by such noisy event.
pool area very busy and the pool was a bit to small
Friendly staff, good location for where we wanted to be. Very reasonable prices. We only ate breakfast there, and it was absolutely awful although there was a large selection. Saying that, we didn't go for the food... so not really a big deal. Worst cup of coffee I've ever had in Spain though!
Me and My boyfriend stayed at Sol Timor for 3 nights, 4 days Mid August. We were a bit aprehensive because of other bad reviews but as far as we where concerned they are all untrue, The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. It had single beds but they were easy to push together. We took a fan with us because it was rather hot but you are able to hire one there. The pool was very good, yes you had to pay 2.50 euros each for a sunbed but this is very cheap compared to 4.50 on the beach and there was plenty of room to just put out towels to lie on. The pool toilets and showers were always very clean. The supermarket was very good and was good for everyday essentials. 5 Great for kids with flinstone club! Deffinatly recomended!! There was nothing we didn't like, Completely recomended, 5 mins walk to benalmadena and 30 to torremolinos, Will be back next year
very central no need for taxis excellent location nxt to beach interior of hotel a bit out of date, poor lighting between lifts and apartment
Good location. Very close to the beach, shops and restuarants. I went as part of a couple and the hotel is very family orientated.
That it was next to the beach The room was scruffy/worn out/in need of total refit of furniture and decoration.
We have been going back to timor sol now 3 x a year for the last 5 years or so, good hotel, great location, next to beach ,surrounding area getting quieter every time we go, but can walk 30 mins or less into tormellinos or arryhio or benelmadena, harbour area lovely, and only 5mins walk hotel itself could do with being updated but good value for money rooms pretty basic but are cleaned every day . and have never had any problems. staff all friendly we only ever go self catering as like to eat out at different resturants every night The only fault we have with timor sol aparts is in the summer months really could do with air conditioning in apartments can hire fans but arent enough sockets to run them to keep u cool enough to sleep so wouldnt advise these apartments in the summer months when tempratures hit 40 to 50c
close to all amenities the room was too small it did not have any air conditioning, the room was not cleaned in the three nights and four days we stay there. when we asked for more towels as only two bath towels were provided we were given out to at reception and told how we should know the rules
location hallways had very little lighting at night
I enjoy staying at the Timor Sol. My first time to stay there was 1998 and I bave been back 15 times since. The location is fantastic. You are right beside the beach, bars, shops and restaurants. Only problem with Timor Sol is no air conditioning in the months of July and August.
close to beach, bars & restaurants & main shopping area in the own easy access by bus or taxi less than 10 min journey, entertainment in hotel & playground for kids apartments were great didnt like that there was a karoki bar nearby that went on until 2 in the morning!!
I was particularly pleased with my room.It was clean, comfortable & spacious.I also found the reception staff & maid very kind & helpful I think that that dining room could be a bit bigger as most mornings it would struggle to cope with the guests so sometimes they would have to wait for a table to become vacant.
The pool was nice. The location was near to the beach. The aircondition was only on/ off (no control). The bed was not so good.
brilliant stuff, perfect location & good quality-price ratio noisy
location, outdoor swimming pool. Annex room had no windows or balcony - only small skylights. Breakfast was very poor. Dining room tables were very dirty.
Excellent location: near the beach and not so far from down town. The staff is helpful and cooperative. Good value for money The dining room is too small to serve all guests. I had to wait available table in mornings sometimes. There is poor noise insulation in rooms in the main building.
Breakfast was really nice, as well as the direct access to the sea
location is excellent - right next to the beach
Very friendly and professional staff, nice courtyard and pool, location (close to the beach), cleanliness of room Triple room is too small and so are the beds, breakfast is quite poor
Quite nice and peaceful place. Good location.
Friendly staff, close to beach, easy to find Breakfest did not last until the time it was presented on timetable, I hate it
The hotel is very near the beach, ideally located near the airport. The beds are not very comfortable and quite old
Hotel is kept very clean, close to a lovely beach and some shops Selection for Breakfast and Dinner was very basic, wasn't a vast amount for vegetarians and it didnt change much from one night to the next
Great location Bar prices,dinning room
Good price, good location next to the sea.Staff at reception very profesional Good for the price, would go again. Hotel ok for three star.
Good location near the beach and the swimming pools were good. There were too many guests for the breakfast/dining facilities leading to queues at peak times.
Value for money,Food and drink,Location
approachable staff and good service
Near to the beach, rich buffet. Hotel staff is very friendly. Shower was old and broken. Overall in hotel was boring and uncomfortable, but may be it was because of bad weather...
Hotel has a good location next the beech and is fairly modern well kept. Would suit familys who are happy to remain close by at the beach and hotel pools It is a fair walk to the more central shopping and eating areas but good bus service is available throughout the day. Meals times are very busy in restaurant
Reception Staff very helpful, location excellent.
close to centre and the beach.staff always willing to help.
nice view main courses for dinner were always cold and water was never boiling for tea in the morning.
good position close to the ship to Cadiz, swimming pool little parking inside
using the pool at the evening when everybody was sleeping already
Good location , indoor pool nice and warm although not very big Breakfast very poor , cold bacon and eggs every day toaster not very good took two goes to get toast done , only one toaster , tea bags not labelled , difficult to tell what teabags were what .plates not warm enough , some hotels have special plate warmers to keep plates warm , eggs wern,t cooked properly , white of egg still clear and runny these are basic things that a hotel should be able to sort out easily at minimal cost . the receptionist with dark hair was very beautiful and polite.
Wi-fi didn´t work
Staff, and cleanliness. The fact that I was made to pay for the hotel on arrival. This has never happened to me having stayed at hotels across the globe, including USA, Holland, and UK. Very disappointed
the indoor pool was great had to pay for tv in english only cnn free
A Quiet hotel with Staff that were not intrusive but helpful when help was needed. Excellent location.
Cleanlines of the hotel was excellent, breakfast good, Location is the best in Malaga. TV-rack was strange and inconvenient, you can easily break your toes with that. Wall rack would be much more convenient.
Location was great, rooms very modern No swimming pool but we already knew that
The hotel is modern and very nice. It even has a computer in every room with free internet access. It does not have a parking and the public parking (between 17-20 Euros per day) is 3-5 blocks from the hotel
Location was fantastic, rooms were very nice No swimming pool
everything. and in particular the ensuite jacuzzi in the bath coffee machine was,nt working for breakfast. a bit petty, i know
The hotel was nice, and our children enjoyed the bunk beds in the room.
We have booked to stay in a 'sister' hotel in Salamanca in September
Right in the centre a of Malaga and a real "shoppers heaven" also close to the cathedral and other attractions. Lovely jucuzzi baths which light up. Great showers. Having a lap top in the room was a bonus. We found the staff at reception quite helpful. There are no safety rails on the bunk beds. In general the beds are quite solid. Breakfast was not worth the money. Alternatively there are a couple of nice cafe's in the area. As the hotel is in a pedistrian zone your taxi will not be able to deliver you to the front door.
Great room - good facilities. Bright, clean, modern and extremely comfortable.
A boutique hotel, right in the centre of old Malaga...............excellent
Size of the suite and unbeatable value for money Rudeness of the staff in the restaurant during breakfast service
Nice rooms, nice garden. Some kind of food is not fresh enough.
The rooms at the hotel are a good size and I would rate them as some of the best in 4 star. Meals were good, but not a great choice. Although this did not make any difference to our trip, the entertainment is non exsistant. The hotel seemed to be understaffed, and as such everyone seemed to be a bit flustered, but by no means unfriendly. I would happily go back, so no probs.
The accessability to the bars, restaurants and beach. Unfortunatley on our arrival the room was not ready at the time advised by the hote and had to wait for an hour before actually getting our key. The receptionist directed us to the pool-side bar where we found the staff in the pool bar area were rather rude.
competent service and the view from the 5th floor over the see was really nice... the breakfast could be more interesting, problems with juice machine was everyday.
The hotel was quite not noisey, not to far from main shops, ideal for me None rreally
Overall it was nice. The hotel is near to the centre. The room was quite big and comfortable. The personal was helpful and helped me to arrange a trip to visit Sevilla. For me it seemed that the room was not cleaned in the first 4 days, only the dustbin was emptied but linen was not changed. I think from a 4 star hotel I could expect more. The selection of foods was a bit poor.
Clean rooms. Good bathroom. Good location Very poor service in dining room. Surrounded by uncleared tables. Often had to lay up table oneself. Not enough staff to cope with large tour parties filling dining room. If you waited until later food choice was limited. No maitre d' in charge - staff stood around talking, not clearing.Single rooms at back of hotel and no balcony.
it was just a short break, all was ok i was there before, years ago, I found the restaurant was not so high in standard as before, sorry
