We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was great to have access to a 24 hour concierge service. Our room was clean and the hotel was very stylish. Not right in the city centre, but super close to convenient and fast public transit. Would definitely stay here again.
It's right next to the train station. I didn't hear any trains at all through the windows. Trains to the airport leave every 15-20 minutes, and Amsterdam Centraal is one stop down as well. It's close enough to the city, but far enough for some quiet time when you want it. The location is a bit outside of the heart of Amsterdam, but that can be good if you're tired of all the sound and lights.
Location was very good, very good trains connection to City Centre. Brekfast should be more rich.
The room that i stayed was quite large , also shower was wide enough for me; sine i am almost 2 mt high :) The lady on the phone -reservation desk was rude !They cancelled our booking. When i called them on 7.10 she argued that we had to be there before 7 pm. No other room were free : she claimed ! When i called Booking.com hotline, they resolved th issue; and suddenly we were able to stay ! I think they were expecting to sell the rooms at higher prices!
Location was pefect if you have a car, you won´t find better. Without car, it´s still ok.Only 10 min to the city by bus and the station is just outside the hotel. The service and the staff was excellent. We got useful info and bus timetable while check-in. Very clean room. Free parking in the weekends outside the hotel! but really cheap anyway in the weekdays The bed was not so comfortable, we expected somethong better. Bad pillows. Price could be lower but I think the price standard in amsterdam is high anyway
distance from city center and limited night services for public transport.
The breakfast was very poor
Location was pretty close to the city...just 15 mins by bus 48 to the Centraal Station. Bus station just in front of the hotel. Price is a bit high, we paid 100 EUR for one night without breakfast...but I guess that's how most hotels are in Amsterdam. Anyways, you get very good breakfast in the city (we paid 25 EUR for 2 people).
Breakfast was oke I like sleeping with open window, but there was a lot of noise from outside
There is not minibar in the room. It's far away from the city center.
24 hour reception (due to a traffic jam I arrived at 4.30am), english speaking and friendly staff, disabled room, although it did lack shower grab rails and a low shower tray and curtain would help stop the spread of water. Tea/Coffee making facilities or a Drinks Vending machine would improve the hotel. The room felt slighly cramped but I understand that is a standard room size.
it was very difficult to get to and from the hotel to the city centre. The hotel is 15 minutes away via a bus, however, the bus only comes twice an hour! this makes planning very inconvenient.
