Modern well equipped junior suites
The junior suites are well equipped (Nespresso machine, ample coffee pods per day). Great bathroom suite (super shower and separate huge bath)
Whilst a relatuvely newly refitted the hotel will have upkeep issues as even now some of the wardrobe doors have dropped and are dragging (& damaging) the flooring and the drawers don't run properly.

Superb vacation or business hotel
Unique Space Theme keeps kids and adults entertained. Rooms were well laid out and comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was excellent, cost 15 Euros, but so good that we ate there twice during our 3 day stay. Staff was VERY helpful in getting us where we needed to go on our short post-cruise stay in Spain.
Every noise in the room was heard by everyone, including the rest room and shower. An exhaust fan of some sort would have helped with this and would have ensured the shower was not also a sauna. Also, there was not much privacy in the shower area, so everyone had to turn around when each of us got out of the shower to dress. A privacy curtain would have helped with this.

Excellent stay at Barcelo
Everything was awesome, the location was superb, the metro is under the hotel and there is Taxi station right when you exit the hotel, the tour bus station is one block away and there are alot of restaurants in the metro station like MacDonalds

Just opened, the "Space Station" theme is childish
Location over the main train station.
The theme is stupid, childish, already dated and slightly confusing rather than the attempted "cute". What dope thought that this was a good idea and PAID for the execution? This is the perfect location for a classy and efficient business hotel and instead they put up an amusement park that isn't amusing in the slightest.
