Loved the spa, and the tea pot. Clean, comfortable bed, reasonable price. Tub was a bit slippery, and hard to get in to and out of. Would have liked to see more substantial locks on the door. There is an inch or so of height difference between the floor tile and the bathroom tile. Could have stubbed our toes on that.
It was clean and neat. The noise from the roadworks.
It was economical. I just needed a bed for an early flight the next morning to nz. Well, you get what you pay for. I moved one of the beds, and the floor underneath was dirty. On both nights, in different rooms, the lampshade was broken (shabby). Not your fault, but the fact that the road works all through the night kept me awake, was intolerable!
The iron worked
It was clean and comfortable with good car parking facilities and an easy after hours check in
The young woman on the desk was very helpful giving us directions and local knowlege. There were no glasses/cups in the room to have a drink of water. It really is Bed and Bathroom only.
The hotel was very convenient to the airport, spotlessly clean and served its purpose. The room was extremely small, and other guests were inconsiderate with their noise while we were trying to sleep.
Great for a one night stay before an early flight
Arrived at 4am and found our keys ready to collect even though no staff on premises. Next day, hotel staff very helpful. Basic room but ok for 3 of us and for a cheap price near airport didn't expect luxury. Clean and crisp sheets and plenty of towels. Vending machines good with ready meals in a machine and a microwave to use in the lobby area. Would recommend for a budget place to stay.
The fact that it hasn't got a lift.....carrying heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs isn't much fun. To be honest I wish I had spent the extra money to stay at the Novotel which is closer to the airport and has better facilities and a 24hr checkin desk.
Set in the heart of Nunduh, a little community within Brisbane, this hotel, while certainly not a 5 star, provides good value for money for the budget minded traveler. Very clean, most rooms have a fridge and kettle and while it is over a pub and VLT bar and is on the corner of a fairly busy street, it is remarkably quiet for its location. Close to a large mall, supermarket and loads of boutique shops. We have stayed there twice and had no complaints. Good restaurant on the main level. Sunday night is steak night for $7. so I had two!! Good parking in rear and very direct to and from the airport and downtown. The only downside is shared facilities, so its a walk down the hallway for toilet and showers but they are very clean and well maintained.
