The trainee manager was most helpful. The room was extremely large with excellent facilities Room we had was at front of building and was a bit noisy from the road outside and the nearby hotels during the night
nothing romm is small and bath is beside beds without barrier which is make smile of the hotels so badly.
Very Comfortable beds, good breakfast and very helpful staff. Problems with the air conditioning, thought it would be nearer the waterfront, a bit pricey for waht you are getting
Comfortable personal service
Breakfast, Nespresso machine in room, comfortable bed
Excellent accommodation and service from a sensitive and accomodating staff made this a wonderful stay in Cape Town. We were so impressed that after the 'Garden Route' we returned to Cape Diem for our last few days in the city.
location, price, facilities, personal service
Owner very helpful, regarding where to eat, where to visit.Very helpful re use of computer, allowing to stay by pool to flight time.very pleasant staff. Close proxiity to shops/restaurants etc Nice views, pool area. Nicely renovated property. The only problem was with the layout of the particular room.Very nice to look at and cleverly designed but not practical.Shower, toilet and bath on one level quite tightly packed and bed on a mezzanine level with low ceiling, unable to stand upright.also quite noisy, able to hear other guests walking about. Other rooms not so impractical apparently
Cape Diem Lodge is in a perfect location for walking to the V and A waterfront and also downtown (less than a mile). It is a beautiful facility with very friendly staff. For the price we paid, I think cheese and crackers in the evening should have been free. We had to pay, and were not told this until check-out.
I liked the pleasentness and kindness of the staff. I liked the breakfast an I liked the quietness of the location. Very expensive for a guesthouse.
Phil and Liz really went out of their way to ensure that not only our stay in their lovely home, but also our trip to Cape Town in general, was the abosolute best! Nothing!
Very service-oriented hotel, kind staff, beautifull rooms with all the details present to give you an unforgettable stay !
the atmosphere in this house, the localisation in Cape Town -
Nice and quite. Very comfortable accomodation. The staff did not show much interest and were not very friendly. I got the feeling I was a necessary incoveniance
hotel orners, phil & Riz were very kind, and they support everything necessary to enjoy cape town.very good hotel!
The personal touch was ever present and nothing was too much trouble. Particularly liked being able to have tea/coffee from the kitche
Friendlyness of the owners, location, cosy atmosphere Nothing
The Parker Cottages is a very nice guesthouse. Phil and Liz (the owners) are very friendly and give you great infomation about what to do and where to eat. The guesthouse has a lot of "Charme" and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are decorated nicely and are very clean. The location is great and safe. We enjoyed our stay and for a next travel to Cape Town we would stay at Parker Cottages again!
Superb boutique hotel with wonderful hosts. Quaint but very sophisticated in its own way and the breakfasts on the veranda are a delight. Wooden floors can be a little noisy at night and in early morning.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The place is located in a quiet street, very close to the sea. The room is very clean and big an includes all the facilities you need. Nice living room with wood-fire. The full breakfast is excellent...even if you are still hungry they can make you some bacon and eggs! Nothing
Location Seapoint. Friendly and helpful staff
Raymond and his staff were extremely attentive to our needs. The breakfasts were great and the honor bar was always well-stocked and inexpensive. The guest house was only two blocks from a lovely seaside promenade.
very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean and nice furnished room with on-suite bathroom...
Great location near the seafront, comfortable, clean rooms, very helful enthusiastic staff.
It was easy walking distance to football stadium and was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and very friendly, also only 5 min walk to the tour bus stop, so ideal location for exploring cape town.
It had a friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of bread. The garden was nice too. No
Great host - extremely helpful and friendly. Great breakfast and good location. Everything was fine, would highly recommend.
The hotel is situated in a quite part of Sea Point, we were made very welcome. The weather was lovely, we ate breakfast outside in their delightfull garden every day. the management were very helpfull and arranged day trips for us.
I really enjoyed my stay cause in the context of my trip ,this guest house was incredibly relaxing, very comforting and lovely and quiet and the staff were very good indeed .
The personal service, the beautifull rooms, the excellent swimming pool, the location
Excellent. Nice and very helpful staff. Great location.
They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had an excersion one morning and they prepared an early breakfast without us asking. That is going above and beyond.
We spent 6 fabulous nights at the Hotel. Johan, Kees and Stefan were the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a friends home rather than a commercial business. Lovely rooms with beautiful furniture and an excellent substantial breakfast with lots of choice. The pool was fantastically warm (coupled with a very good chilled glass of wine). The views over Sea Point are unrivalled. Very quiet yet so close to shops/beach/bars and restaurant. We loved every minute of our stay and would definately recommend this "little peace of heaven" to everyone we know. The "free" firework display on New Years Eve at the beach from our window was the perfect end to our regretfully short stay. Good luck for the future.xx Nothing. We loved our stay.
Everything. Staff was great and very helpfull with very good tips related with what to do, eat, etc... Location was very good. And the hotel facilities are excellent! Nothing.
Very, very nice and kind people, stuff, management. Very friendly. There should be free Wi-Fi, but it didn't work!
Cleanliness and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly No
Value for money, great location, good advice on excursions, car hire and good local knowledge.
room had beautiful deco we only stayed for the one night, and after a wondeful dinner, we got into bed to find sand on the sheets, which was highly upsetting, as it dampened our entire evening!
We stayed in one of their apartments and had much more freedom than we would have had in a hotel or guesthouse.
Liked that the house is so spacious with huge windows letting in the sunshine, such an appropriate name. Lovely room with a terrace and a queen size bed (eventhough I booked single). Fresh fruit for breakfast and very friendly and helpfull staff! No complaints here!!!
The view was nice. Our towels and sheets were not changed one time over a 3 night stay. The room capacity was unclear at time of booking. The staff was not friendly.
Good location, clean room, good standard of decor Room was not next to pool which was not apparent on website. Room was very warm, fan or air conditioning required. Got bitten badly by mosquitoes, which has never happened before in Capetown (5th visit)
Very friendly staff and good location. A peaceful place to relax in the middle of the city I stayed over New Year so difficult to compare fairly but I thought it was relatively expensive for what it was
Great house, good staff just what I needed for my quick visit to the city.
Absolutely everything. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The view was fantastic and our balcony really big. We watched the sunset from it every night. Staff and owners were all very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help and recommend. Breakfast was fantastic with bacon and eggs, fresh fruits, jogurts etc and best of all fresh rolls every morning. But best of all is the location. Its just so close to everything. Table Mountain and the city center as well as the waterfront are only a few minutes by car and the beach was a 5 min walk. There is a really good supermarket down the road and we also tried some of the restaurants in the area. We walked there and back and felt really safe. nothing
A beautiful house in a lovely location with great views of Capetown and table mountain.
The friendly staff, pleasant surroundings of the guest house and its african feel. The pool area and roof top terrace also definite pluses. I liked everything.
The Hotel/Guest House was superb and in a great location for exploring the sights of Cape Town and surrounding areas. Our room (Colonial) was wonderful and had amazing views of Table Mountain and Lions Head.We also had great access to the roof top terrace and its panoramic views.Staff where excellent and the breakfasts ideal at the start of each day. The accomodation was 'First Class' from start to finish and no faults could be found.
