This is a cozy place to stay in Jackson, across from a park and not far from the Town Square. It is reasonably priced but has full amenities like continental breakfast, pool and hot tub. A good value in a pricey market.
Free breakfast, two hot tubs and pool, free parking, close to downtown. Walls are a little thin so you might hear the neighboring guests.
Excellent value. The little things like free cider daily. Bath robes
Located away from the bustle of the main road yet close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants on main street. Incredible value for a room in Jackson. Spacious, well-appointed and decorated room, parking right outside your room's back door! Two indoor hot tubs and a pool with heated floors were a very welcome relaxation after dinner and a few drinks at the end of a long icy day on a road trip. Cold continental breakfast only. It was still good but adding at least one hot entree would make it 5 stars all around!
location, friendly staff, ambience, comfort of room, nice breakfast the bathroom was too small
Friendly staff, huge rooms, new beds, gym, pool, wifi and walk to downtown...great value!
Close to downtown area on a quiet sidestreet. Cheaper, nicer hotel rooms can be had in NYC. Extra person (>2) per night charge was excessive. Breakfast was minimalistic and does not justify the $20/night/person charge.
The hotel was recently updated and very comfortable. This place shouldn't be over looked. Short walk from downtown.
We were in Jackson during the slow April season and wanted a nice reasonably priced downtown location. Easy walk to all the downtown stores and restaurants. Not a glamorous place, but the rooms are a good size, although the bathroom is a little tight on space. A nice hot tub and pool area. Very clean and comfortable. For the price, you won't get a better location and facility. If you are uncomfortable with outside door access, you may not want this location.
Location , and appearance Noisy plumbing
Very noisy rooms - poor insulation, lots of noise from breakfast area early in morning. Staff was very rude to me when I requested to be changed rooms.
Facility, grounds, room, breakfast N/A
Rustic Inn is a walk away from the center of the town, yet immerse in beautiful natural setting by the Snake River. The food was great and the service was first class.
The rooms were little cabins and it was fantastic, they were clean and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfast was fantastic. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
The cabins are beautiful. They are comfortable and relaxing. The view from the deck of each cabin is great - you are looking out at the creek and the hills. The food is very good and the service is excellent. The bed was so comfortable! We didn't it, but they have a free shuttle service that will take you not town and pick you up. This is really great since parking in town is very limited. I wish there was a gym there. Also, it would be nice if there was someone to take your bags to your room. But otherwise everything here is perfect.
Staff, cleanliness, breakfast, look, location, amenities.
The beds were comfortable and the room was right on the creek, which was peaceful. Staff was pleasant and the lobby was tastefully furnished. Walls were very thin. We were wakened by our neighbors at 6:30 in the morning and heard them moving around and talking for the next hour. Our tv didn't work very well so the football game we were watching didn't have a very good picture. The suite was nicely furnished but was kind of dark.
The entire property is terrific and lovely! It is a romantic setting and the grounds are extremely well taken care of. It was an excellent experience staying there on two separate nights. On the first night, we all received upgrades to cabins but the rooms were just as nice as the cabins which we ended up staying in on the second night. One of the machines in gym was not working and air conditioner could be a bit more reliable. It was hot and cold all night on the second night.
I loved everything about this place. The staff was friendly and bent over backwards to assist in any way they could. The location is excellent - close enough to be on the ski slopes in less than half an hour, but walking distance from Town Square. I loved the creekside cabins. It was very cozy, comfortable and warm. It was also quite unique and refreshing. The complimentary full breakfasts, transportation to/from the airport, to/from the ski resort, and the water and coffee in the room were all huge bonuses, and made traveling to Jackson Hole significantly easier and more enjoyable. Not Applicable. I liked everything.
I thought the lodge was fine, but not luxurious for the price range. The staff were nice and polite. We stayed there during the power outage in July, The front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful to the guests that night. The breakfast was good, but would have been better to include more variety in the daily menu. I didn't think the pool was that great - it was not aesthetically appealing. For the price they charge per night, they could spruce up the pool area to be more comfortable and luxurious. It's probably fine for kids but didn't look like something most adults would want to go into.
It had the look and feel of a fancy lodge. The price was good for the value. The breakfasts were good, although a little repetitive. The location wasn't bad but required a short drive to get to town or skiing.
Appealing decor Thirteen dollar well gin Martini's, slamming doors late at night, etc.
Staff members were very friendly and helpful Water & coffee in lobby Breakfast eggs the same every morning. we really spent very little time at the hotel
Staff was very friendly and super helpful. The room was very nice and clean. Amenities were great. The bed was very uncomfortable. When I laid down, I could feel the springs of the mattress.
Comfy beds, location, breakfast included Front desk staff rude, fire alarm middle of night
being within walking distance of the town, which made everything so convenient. just wish we could have stayed longer
Great location, clean and warm room. Nice heated floors in Bathroom. Comfortable beds with clean linens, plenty of hot water. Keurig coffee maker in room. Why offer breakfast if it's not up to par with everything else? Basically a Days Inn type continental breakfast... powdered eggs, cold breads, etc. Would have preferred a pay breakfast with prepared food. Just a suggestion.
Room was clean, everything worked, staff was helpful, location was great. Breakfast was not good, exterior access room was very loud. I suggest getting one of their interior access rooms or don't stay there.
Had mini kitchen separate from bedroom so could cook and store own food. Beds were very comfortable Room was in basement - so no views
4th visit and it is great every time! Breakfast is also a wonderful bonus.
The hositality in the reception was grat.Romms big and comftable to expensive to its class
The room was a good size, beds were comfortable, facilities we needed were included in the room's furnishings. The room was poorly lit (very low wattage lights).
The lobby area is really nice, and has a great western feel. The overall check in process was quick and easy. The rooms a really nice, very comfortable beds, really nice bathrooms and have a very boutique feel. They even have heated tiles in the bathroom, which was really nice. The room was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The overall location is also really nice, just blocks from downtown Jackson, and only half a block to the bus stop that takes you to Teton Village. For the price I paid, compared to other hotels in Jackson, this place was the best of all worlds. Would definitely go back. My only complaint, outside of the check in process, they front desk person seemed a bit confused and disorganized. She didn't seem to know what was happening with the shuttle, and had a hard time figuring out how to get us bus passes, which was part of the stay. I think it was just this one individual vs a system wide training problem.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The staff was very friendly. I needed to check in early and they were very nice and took my phone number to tell me when my room would be ready. The room was very nice with a kitchenette and separate TV room from the sleeping area. They didn't actually call me to tell me when the room was ready after they said they would. I had to go back to ask. The elevator lobby to my floor was so narrow, the double stroller wouldn't fit through it. And when the housekeeping people needed to exit before I got on, there was nowhere for me to go.
Nothing Drab carpets, room was o.k. Not worth the money
Wonderful stay, extremely comfortable and cozy.
Booking.com's initial quote did not include resort fee and local tax - no one likes surprises and deceiving practice. Promised us a mountain view room and ended up with a pond view room.
The view from our room was just gorgous! The food at the Granary was expensive and bad.
There are four rooms to a block...two upstairs and two downstairs. We were with family. One room had a fabulous view of the Tetons from its balcony. The other room was downstairs and had a nice view of a pond. The rooms were cabin like and felt private. The fireplaces are a nice touch. The bathroom was a little small.
Everything about this property is first-rate. High-quality bedding, beautiful buildings, and a friendly staff. My favorite feature was the wood-burning fireplace, which the host offered to light for me. How many places allow a real fire indoors these days? The overall experience is that you are an invited guest at the ranch of a friendly (and wealthy) relative. Loved it. I had a downstairs unit, which allowed some of the "footstep" noise from above to disturb my sleep. The parking lot is some distance from the farthest units, which are 4-room cabins. There are no covered walkways, so a rainy checkout is not fun. Still, would choose this place again over a regular hotel!
Beautiful setting and good restaurant. Very dated, noise from upstairs guests, and you should bring your own pillow.
Wonderful location, views are tremendous. The in-room fireplace was great. The facility was very nice, quiet and clean. Off season so the hot tub did not look like it was being maintained.
We loved the location. The room was dingy and the bed was old and saggy. That part was not good and was very disappointing. Otherwise we liked it.
There is no better view of the Teton Mountains. This was our fourth time staying at the Spring Creek Ranch. The staff is great. It is one of our favorite places in the Country. Jackson Hole has a lot of fun things to do.
Amazing views of the mountains right from the room, the outdoor hot tub was great in the 2 degree weather, and the wood burning stove in the room was great. Loved everything about it.
Service was slow and unorganized.
Loved the location which was out of the hubub of downtown but close enough to drive in a few minutes. quiet peaceful and my room had a wonderful view. The restaurant was superb, great food great service. This is a bit expensive but booking at a less busy time got me a nice discount.
Snow King has a perfect location and I cannot say enough about how incredible the staff was. Both bartenders was super kind and gave incredible service and the front desk staff was equally as helpful. You can tell that the hotel has just had a remodel, but unfortunately nothing was done to help with the noise and it is so loud. However the aesthetics of our room was very nice and we really enjoyed the hot tub, but could not get in the pool because it was filthy. My husband and I got no sleep. We could hear everything in the other rooms... even other peoples cell phones dining. We were on the 4th floor and could hear the elevator beep every time someone got one which happened all night long. I need my sleep so we will not be returning to this Hotel.
Updated hotel rooms, nice pool area, friendly, helpful staff, walking distance to town but far enough away to be quiet and secluded Not sure why I was charged a resort fee with a pool and gym, which are included in most hotels.
Staff was wonderful Parking is an extra cost and on top of a very high nightly rate they also charge a resort fee. Found that for the money things were small and needed some sprucing up.
We asked to change rooms to the opposite side of the hotel and they were very accommodating. The pool was wonderful for the kids and the adults loved hanging out at the fire pit while the kids swam. Everyone loved the mountain coaster but it was a bit pricey. Fireplaces and couches in the lobby were a wonderful place to hang out in the evening. It seemed like all the food/ restaurant options were very pricey.
The in-town location was great, and the common facilities were expansive and nice. The heat/ac was ridiculously noisy. It woke me evey time it kicked on. Also there was a loud party going on in the parking lot for hours. I would not stay at Snow King again.
The room was really spacious, plenty of storage, nice location near of Jackson Downtown, the staff was really friendly. Just when we though this was a perfect hotel... at the moment my wife was going to take a shower we notice the tiles on the bath tub had mold, to be honest the whole bathroom did not look that clean, we stayed two nights but we only took a shower ONCE.
Fantastic rooms, great location, friendly accommodating staff and a pretty good restaurant too. Only complaint is restauarant on site was great when they were good, but could be mediocre at times. Ordered a drink at lunch and it was amazing. Ordered the same one at night and it was pretty sad. Food was also brought out cold at dinner a couple of times. Overall this hotel was great though and an awesome value for Jackson Hole.
SUPER fast internet, 50 Mbps per Internet speed test. The bed provided firm, yet compliant support. It was nice not to sink towards the center of the bed. There was no TV Guide in the room and the front desk seemed a bit put out by that request. Once provided, it had several errors which was a bit disconcerting. Also, when asked by website to log in, I was charged $10 more per night. That's DIRTY POOL.
The snow king staff and staff at all local businesses were very friendly. The smart bus staff were not friendly.
Location -soft sheets- clean quiet room- nice management Nithing
We were visiting Yellowstone Park, and the road to the south entrance was closed by the the Park Fire Command due to a fire. The hotel would not allow us to cancel, and we could not stay because we could not get there. The hotel could have been understanding instead of just taking a hard line. There are many hotels in Jackson Hole. We'll stay elsewhere next time.
Location was great. When at the hotel front desk quoted a walk in rate of $120 right in front of us. That was $35 a night less than what we were charged.I Am not too pleased with that. I used booking.com thinking that the rate quoted would be competitive-I guess I was wrong!!
We stayed in a cottage which was nice because then we could spread out a little and also have some meals there which we made in the room. It also had an outdoor barbecue that we used. Walking distance from downtown area which was nice. The stove is quite limited - 2 small electric burners, no oven. Pretty hard if you are trying to do some actual cooking. Cooking supplies were the bare basics so bring your own if you want to do anything special at all.
Stayed in the Settler's. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of room in the bath area. Great cookies! Would like to have had a comfortable chair in the room to relax and catch a little reading or TV time in between activities.
Cabins were great and staff were very friendly. Very nice facility.
Large, clean room with all amenities. Love those cookies, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. NO
Conveniently located. Nice having a den area. Bedroom as small.
Proximity to Jackson shops and restaurants was very helpful. And the chocolate chip cookies in the lobby were super! Having a continental breakfast available would be a real plus. For older guests, the lack of elevators for 2nd floor rooms is a disadvantage.
Nice sized, well appointed room. Well kept property. No pool for over $200 a night. Jackson WY is overcrowded and overpriced.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The dog in the lobby was the friendliest of all. The rooms were very clean and large. Many environmentally friendly touches without being obnoxious. Just a block off the square. Convenient to everything. And fresh cookies every day at 5 PM in the lobby. Served while they were still hot! No king beds. Parking was limited but acceptable.
They checked us in early even though our cabin was not ready early. They explained ammenities answered questions about the area and made us feel Welcome A little pricey for only one night.
Nice room, ample parking space, friendly staff. For Jackson good vale for money. When working at the little desk, it was difficult to pass and rearranging the furniture was a heavy job. No breakfast, but we knew that when we booked.
Just had the basics. Was able to get my key and check in late. Just outside of town There were vacancies everywhere in town, and plenty at the Elk Refuge Inn as well - and I find out after I book that they have a 2 WEEK cancellation requirement? Ridiculous
Antique looking furniture, big comfortable bed, big bath tub, flat screen TV with multiple channels. Proximity to gas station. Patio is open and right in front of parking lot. It's basically a chair outside. Water jets inthe bath tub doesn't work. Maybe mine was broken. Location - It's located on outskirts of Jackson, middle town has much better view and it has lots of other hotels in town.
The room was very clean and had a kitchenette, which we weren't expecting. A very comfortable king-size bed. The office staff offered to let us print off our boarding passes, which was nice. the only drawback was a noisy fan motor on the furnace. We are light sleepers and heard it rattle most of the night. We left very early in the morning but will call the motel to let them know.
Everything was ran and the fixtures were updated. Room had a upscale hotel feel. You could hear other room's bathroom fans/room fans very loudly.
We stayed in Jackson at another hotel earlier in the week before our reservation at the Wort. We happened to eat at the grill restaurant in the hotel and the service was awful. Our server took our appetizer before we were finished and tried to take a half full drink of mine away. We didn't receive our entrees until an hour after we were seated with a 35 minute wait between the appetizer being taken away and the entree appearing. When we asked if our food was coming the staff was unhelpful though our food appeared shortly thereafter. I have no problem with a kitchen running behind or an order being forgotten, but it is not okay to not acknowledge the issue. They took 20% off our bill but given that the food was mediocre at best, we left very dissatisfied. We plan to come back to Jackson Hole but will not be returning to eat at the hotel, nor would we reccomend it.
The staff were great. They didn't have the king bed we had reserved the night we got there, but were able to switch us to one the next day--needless to say the first night of our stay was rough and we couldn't sleep well because they gave away the bed we ordered, but the staff were very helpful. It was clean, for the most part, but we did have a rat in the walls and ceiling of our room that kept scurrying around at night and woke us up a few times.
The decor was beyond spacious was fantastically western. The staff was extremely hospitable. Once in the room we never left, it was that luxurious! The room had a soaking tub that was to die for! The room had two king beds and still plenty of room. It was also incredibly quiet. Amazing location just off "the square." There was not one bad thing about this place!
Due to an error on my part our reservation got messed up. Management fixed it for us with no penalty. Excellent service!
We had a great experience, super clean, affordable prices for mini bar stuff, staff was super accommodating, great location. Will stay again. Parking was tight but we were in our new truck traveling from Idaho so it is a full size Ram 2500, she's a beast and can be hard to park anyways
Bed was super comfortable, staff was friendly. Walls were paper thin. Heard teens giggling next door, adults doing adult thing upstairs.
The staff are really nice and very accommodating and the location is within walking distance of everything in the downtown area. The room was very clean. The room was extremely small and very warm, even with a window cracked open. We couldn't find where any heat was even turned on. The polyester sheets made it worse. When we mentioned the temperature to the owner, when he asked us how our stay was, his response was to say we were wrong, which was weird.
Staff was very friendly and room was clean and smelled good. Close location to middle of town
very spacious tastefully remodeled interior mini-kitchen very convenient friendly staff no breakfast no hot-tub old fashioned metal key
Excellent value for the money Clean and comfortable
Great service. Pleasantly surprise with quality. Rooms very homey
Friendly and helpful staff. Older but nice facilities. Some noise from other rooms but not as bad as others I've stayed in.
Cozy corner. Nice, fresh, comfortable!
great location! good value.
The lodge is located on the outskirts of town where it's quiet but your just a few easy walking blocks away from downtown.
Hot tub in the room. Great quiet location very close to downtown. Swimming pool would be nice, limited space on property.
friendly and helpful staff no desk/table, one chair, very poor sound insulation
We loved everything about it! The rooms the decor the dining and the staff. The location was superb and our favorite thing was the roof deck with fire pits and the hot tub. Nothing.
The quaint, romatic atmosphere, room furnishings, woodburning fireplace in the room, rooftop hot tub with firepits, and exceptional dining experience at the Wild Sage. Not a thing I did not like.
The room was small but beds/pillows excellent Their restaurant is the reason to stay there. I thought the prices were a bit on the high side.
Very modern and unique hotel. Staff were all very friendly. Location was great for walking to everything in downtown Jackson Hole. Roof top hot tub not working and still charged a daily resort fee.
Décor was great......fireplace in our room.....loved it. Staff was always smiling and very helpful to our needs. Everything still looked new. The Deck out back was very relaxing and comfy after a long day being a tourist.... Hot tub was not operational and I would like to have known this before the booking....would have really liked to relax under the stars.
Location is very good.
Location : right on the main road, easy to find. none
Nothing in particular Poor facilities - no hair dryer, coffee machine or microwave. Layout poor - needs door to separate toilt and shower from bathroom.
Good spacious bathroom , plenty of car parking , easy drive into town We were there over a weekend so the tarriff was much higher than we'd normally pay for this hotel.
Nice big bathroom after our previous one!
Clean, nice, spacieous room. Quiet room an quiet air conditioning/heating
Painted Buffalo has outdid itself since I stayed there just a few years ago. Newer hotel décor in the rooms, new luxury towels, and extraordinarily pleasant staff. I really appreciated the 'late check-out' and swimming pool. The only thing that could be improved might be the parking.
Good location Awful room, indifferent staff, and so freezing cold because the heat was broken. We had to buy a space heater. No one cared or put any effort forth
It wold be nice if they had better parking and a hot tub, other than that it was great.
We had a place to sleep. The office was very nice and updated. The rooms were not updated. Parking, towels were not very white, fail on the wake-up call, very utilitarian. Stairs were interesting with the trash bin at the top which you had to maneuver around. Just kind of odd.
Not really any complaints about the facility, except for microscopic bathrooms. Barely usable by one person. No counter space.
very pleased with amenities, service and value...will definitely return
Everything was great! The breakfast every morning was delicious, I liked that there was free coffee available all day. Not enough parking
The bed was comfortable. The breakfast.
The room was comfortable, great value, and excellent front desk and housekeeping staff. Breakfast staff needs improvement!
The rooms are pretty soundproof and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is better than most similar hotel chains and is very convenient. I thought it was pricey for a Hampton Inn. The only problem I had with the room was the heavy curtains only covered the edges of the window so when the sun came up there was no sleeping in.
Location good. Breakfast good. With an early booked reservation, we were placed in handicapped room with very uncomfortable mattress and small room. We like Hamptons because of the great comfort mattresses and when we were back in a few days we were given regular room with great mattresses. bIG difference! If booked at last minute I would understand. Reserved way ahead! Will definitely have ??? Next time Being given handicapped room with uncomfortable mattress instead of regular room. Not much willingness from staff when questioned why.
The breakfast was ok. Exorbitant price for a Hampton Inn - more than double what I had paid elsewhere. When I made the reservation, because of the price, I wrongfully assumed it would be something special. I was wrong. The room was small and cramped - smaller than any Hampton Inn room I had ever stayed in. Plus, after I arrived, I was told that I wouldn't receive Hilton Honors points because of how I booked the hotel.
