Beautiful, large, quiet rooms; free parking Beach front but can't swim in the water.
great value for money. food was a bit pricey and left a bit to be desired.
Expensive for what you get. No extra incentives are included in what you pay for the rooms it all costs extra. Rather go to the marriott just down the road again.
We loved the place, It was well kept and clean, had nice pools and outside bar. The staff is great and all you have to do is ask and it gets taken care of.
Townhome style hotel rooms with porches and balconies. 4 pools. Shuttles to the beach. Next to Walgreens. Late check in time.
PK staffers were very diligent in their quest to make the hotel first class. Thank you for your efforts! Our room phone never did work. Internet service was frequently interrupted. BR sink faucets functioned poorly. The White Sox did not win too many games.
Loved the resort and public areas. The bartender was the nicest lady I have ever seen. She made our trip. When we arrived at 6pm I was told my room was not ready as I had made my reservation an hour before....so I guess rooms don't get clean unless there are reservations made which made no sense.
Beautiful resort with amazing gardens surrounding four pools. Reasonable price. Staff was very friendly. Wish I could have stayed longer!
The location was nice.... Too pricey for what you get. Don't expect to relax! More of a party hotel. Thought I was back in college but then I couldn't afford it.
Nice resort with beautiful grounds. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. We stayed in an "ocean view" room which had a very nice "beach area outside of our back door and veranda. Parking is limited and constrained. The shuttle service to Old Town is inconvenient (2 hour intervals); but free. There are very few local (within walking distance) restaurants. The best, a Fridays, has closed.
The spa was terrific (we went back for seconds) and the live music at the pool-side restaurant was lovely. This hotel was a bit pricey, considering the level of service.
We had a problem with are air conditioner. They dispatched an in house maintenance person. He explained that the unit was frozen an they would get a HVAC specialist asap. The unit was up an running the next morning. This all happened Sunday eve around 7pm. We were compensated for our troubles. .
The hotel has its own beach. Lanai view was parking lot with plants taller than patio.
Absolute perfect location to experience all of Key West! Big bonus having the option to enjoy the beach/ocean and the pool. Will stay here again.
Location is great. Close to everything but the way property is set up quiet at nite and exclusive during day. Also gives you access to Southern Most area via their B and B. Staff at beach were wonderful and very courteous and hardworking. Kyack asked would I prefer a room with better view or more space and extra towels I received none of the above. Room service cleaning was very late in day. There were days I did not think they would show at all.
I liked the view from our room, and the restaurant attached to the hotel had great food. the town itself was excellent and beutiful. very over priced tho. the price was very high for what you get. The staff were only alright. the front desk staff were great, but the servers in the restaurant were very unpleasant and dident seem to care. although the food was great, the servers were not.
Room very nice, loved the beach. Always enjoy the jazz in the evening, location excellent.
The staff was extremely friendly. Pool closed too early,
The wonderfull surroundings and colourful houses and inspirational old houses and museums
Clean and quiet. Airport next door but no flights over night.
The Breakfast, The Location.
very comfortable room, lovely pool. Fantastic view. Breakfast facilities, presumably temporary.
The size of the rooms Continental breakfast
Dirty chairs in the room, balcony door not weather tight, Breakfast room much too small
The staff was very accomodating. We requested a change of rooms to have a ocean view and were provided the same . No room service
Adequate facility; however, the staff was very indifferent after I slipped and fell on the very slick pool area. Got a quiet "sorry about that" and "we'll have a maintenance guy wipe up the water". I was walking at a normal gate and luckily, even though both feet went out from under me and my 8 eight old gave me an "8.5" for my air time, I just got a large hip bruise, but an older patron could easily have had a broken bone. Wasn't trying to get a free stay or anything but some minor concern would have been nice.
The coffee provided at the continental breakfast was some of the hottest but also the best coffee I think I have ever had in that setting. The pool area was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and the view from our room was beautiful. The pool bar and food service shut down very early. I would have enjoyed the setting a bit better if they were available later in the evening. Especially during the summer when days are longer and evenings are warmer.
Great location, good easy parking, amazing pool w/ great views, good breakfast, friendly staff. air conditioning was too strong and next to the bed so I got a cold. Beds were small.
Very quiet, which is what we prefered. Breakfast was nice & a good variety. Room was comfortable and screened in deck was nice. Stayed in Room 220 which is a mini- king suite. There is a separate sitting area but not much in the way of accommodating a third person. The room decor was modern, but the tub was definately old cast iron (but really not an issue). Limited drawer space if you dont like to live out of a suitcase. Beach front, but not beach accessible. Smathers Beach is a decent mile walk. The staff was very accommodating & nice! Pool needed to be vacuumed. Not an elevator to the second floor.
The luxury and good service from the staff at all times. Got help with restaurants, and we also liked the proximity of bar, restaurant and beach to the hotel. That TV cost. They might have included some more things in the servicefee of USD25.
The bed was very comfortable...but, it would be good to have had a bath in our bedroom...and we were moved 3 times before we departed and this was in a 4 night stay period...
Location is beautiful Beach is full of rocks and algae. The public beach next door is much better. First room was filthy and had a broken toilet. Second room was in desperate need of updates
Beach and pools are great. Staff on the beach that set us up in our cabana was great, the only positive staff experience we had. Front desk couldn't find our third party reservation so gave us an ultimatum of leave and try to get our money back or stay in a handicap room at current rate. Also told us never to book through a third party...then why do you participate in those sites?! 5 minutes after we were in our room they called and said, oops we found it you're good. Meanwhile charged us $200 to open credit card even though we had prepaid through 3rd party the charged our card another $330 the next day which they could not explain. In fact when i called down to front desk to ask for an explanation they said they were really busy with guests, but would try to assist. I laughed. They then just said it would be refunded at check out with no explanation. Room had dead fruit flies everywhere, it's Florida, I get it. We live here, but I asked the front desk to have someone come clean them up and no action was taken. We made the best of it, always do, but they will not get repeat business from us.
The pool would have been wonderful given the location and views of the ocean, but it was so dirty and unkempt.... We visited the pool nearly every afternoon for the entire week and not once was the pool cleared of leaves, grass, garbage. There was a spot on the pavement that a drink must have spilled or something and it was there for the entire 6 days. I was quite disappointed considering the resort fee is apparently supposed to cover towels/chairs by the pool. Also, it seemed staff was never around to help set up chairs, grab towels and the like, finally we just went and got our own. Very disappointed because this place has so much potential!
Good location. They gave us an upgrade to a ocean view with balcony. Room is nice. We didn't like the food at the hotel and it was very overpriced.
everything incredible hotel wonderful grounds breathtaking hotel INCREDIBLE TOP NOTCH STAFF I could go on and on This is now a must for me in Key West Absolutely nothing
Location of the hotel was great. Access to beach and proximity to the downtown was a great asset. Daniel at check in was very helpful.
Beach front and other amenities makes this hotel stand out from the others in key west Rooms seemed a bit simple for the price
Beautifull hotel with very friendly and helpfull staff. Late checkout (1500) to do the spectacular jet-ski tour around the island they provide was not a problem at all
The hotel is beautiful and the private beach is definately a plus. The pier that you can swim off of as well as the hammocks, games to play and outside dining were fabulous. The drinks were pretty pricey and we were hoping that there would have been more options with the menu between breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Friendly staff all encountered Beach was dirty with plastic cups all over fishing net washed up on beach not removed piers damaged beach equipment old rooms cold in furniture not inviting landscaping not kept up jet ski's for rent in rough shape.
The location was great - right near the pier and overlooking the ocean. Our room was large (we were in a 1 bedroom suite), but everything was dated in the room. Plus, I found some leftover trash from what I imagine was the previous occupant in the bedroom so seems like housekeeping was not very thorough. Staff at the front desk was ok, but not incredibly helpful, just average.
The location of the resort is better then most, the one LCD/Plasma TV in the room was nice, and the bedding was comfortable. They failed to notify us that the hotel would be under going various construction activities during our stay (water pipe repairs/changes, elevator nearest room didn't function, etc... or that we would be forced to endure daily the excruciating noise of rigs pounding in 100'+ metal beams immediately adjacent to the pool as part of pier repairs. The concierge's changed daily and apparently make a considerable amount of money from referral fees/commissions paid directly to them by vendors providing any and every type of service (boat outings, dinner reservations, car rentals, etc...) to the tourists. This resulted in Concierge B on Monday providing us completely different recommendations then Concierge A had on Saturday. This was so extreme it would have been comical had it not left me with absolutely no faith that any of them were actually interested in meeting my/our needs which is really the heart of what I did not like about this hotel and did not feel was properly represented in the comments shown on Bookings website. This was merely one stop in a lengthy vacation my wife and I took for our 15 year anniversary, but it was supposed to be the highlight as we were there for 10 days and willing to pay for the best of the best throughout. In all reality it was clear that if we had just drove up for the weekend we would have received a better rate and room.
Pool is awesome. Nice rooms. Location is also great. A little difficult to navigate hotel.
Customer service and staff was excellent. The view of the Golf of Mexico was paradise.
Wonderful view from the room of sunset island and sunsets, awesome pool with great drinks and bartenders that'll bring them to you in the pool, great staff, very helpful and knowledgeable, loved every minute of staying here!!! Leaving
Room was spacious and clean. Our room had no view; we were practically on a parking lot with cars parked a few feet away. We had asked for a quiet room with a view and we were supposed to get a "view of the Old Town". "Island view" means looking out on a car park! The room had a connecting door to another room and we could hear all from next door (and they from us). Front desk staff quite rude: if you book with Booking.com, you'll automatically get the worst rooms, this is what you get if you go for their low rates..., we were told. There is no beach, just a small pool. However, we were able to leave after 2 nights.
the location is perfect, right in the heart of everything. The decorating is whimsical masking the garage. the pool area is comfortable and friendly. We were able to rent great bicycles right there.
My visit was due to a wedding I attended at the resort. Location was beautiful. Overall the staff were helpful, kind and considerate. The room housekeeper did not understand English and I was unable to get items requested of her.
The location, decor, and service were excellent, and the amenities were most pleasant.
Attentive and responsive staff. The 4:00 am rooster, friendly bird but took his wake up service very seriously. Being located at Mallory , the 5:30 am dumpster collection finished any further attempts to remain in the comfortable bed. Great facility, noisy location.
The location was great, staff at front desk were friendly, the pool area and the rooms were all good and comfortable, bathrooms were nice. Overall very good experience The cupboards in the rooms under tv (518 and 520) were very tatty - chipped etc not good for the image and price we were paying
Best location for Key West. Every thing is close by, Not cheap but worth it.Would stay there again Restaurant was closed on the last day of our stay. No idea why.
The room was very nice and luxurious. The hotel overall was clean and the staff was very friendly. Parking was convenient. Everything was and extra charge ie parking and breakfast. The "beach front" wasn't an ocean access which was very misleading. It was located far from most of the activities in Key West.
Convenient parking. Easy check in. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. I did not venture about as was a quick one night business visit, but the grounds are pleasant, secure. Very comfortable bed. A bit expensive for a single with parking lot view and strange, shared entry foyer. I guess it is meant as a sort of adjoining room for a larger group. Every time the neighbor came and went it was two slammed doors. The doors are real loud when they close. I felt self conscious and tried to close them more quietly when I cam and went.
Less than 3 min from key west airport! The hotel provides free shuttle to and from airport. We arrived airport and I called them and they were there in less than 10 minutes! The shuttle to take us back ran every half hour w/o a reservation. The pool is saltwater, clean, and nicely laid out to have a great cross breeze to beach if you don't want to get in the water your comfortable in lounge chair. We stayed in a standard king room, which was fine size for us (without cooking amenities). What wasn't great was that it was on 1st floor which is adjacent to N. Roosevelt Blvd, so the traffic can be loud and wake you up.
The hotel was awesome i felt like if i was at home. I didnt like it i love it. I literally loved everything about the hotel. I would recommend it to everyone. I would stay here everytime i come to key west.
Fine location; dependabe aieport and downtown shuttle; excellent room amenities such as mattress, linens, towels, Parking was in a ground level garage; our room was on the 4th floor.
Shuttle service was very convenient and helpful. Ron was an excellent driver who cares about his passengers. Check in and check out was easy as pie. Our room was spotless, as if Danny Tanner lived there himself. Parking fees are a bummer. I was sad when I heard the news. Our view from our room was a construction site...so we had to use our imaginations to see what was not there. A security guard made us uncomfortable by staring at my wife's beautiful legs. There needs to be more lizards and iguanas on the property.
4 pm check in, tile in bathroom was very slippery resulting in a fall, no counter space in the bathroom.
comfy bed no windows really ugly far from town too expensive far better options
Liked the room Did not like the staff. Not friendly at all. Very rude.
Room Clensines Service Happy hour Pool Hot tub $20 parking per night
The staff were very accommodating and helpful Due to an event in Key West we payed 400$/night which was very expensive! The hotel would have been a great value for 150-200$/night
Very nice grounds right on the water. Pool, Jacuzzi and beach area were great. Shuttle provided to Duval which is a great value. Taxis would have been $40+. Nice restaurant and great staff
The rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. The pool and beach area were extremely clean and well kept. The are plenty of water activities and beach games. The staff were friendly and helpful. The main part of Key West is only a 5 min walk for good food, shopping and nightlife. The bar shuts at 10pm every night even at the weekends! Not good if you just want to relax and enjoy a couple of drinks. Parking is at an extra cost of $15 a night which is not included in the $25 resort fee. There was no mention of this when booking.
The location was great, staff very attentive and the decor was very contemporary and upscale. Better view from room.
Nice location right by the beach and nice room with really comfortable king size bed. Noisy air condition in the room
Location is wonderful. Step out of your room and directly to the beach. No Menu inside the room.
It was clean and staff was friendly. The design of the hotel leading to the rooms was a maze for which I did not care for as it was confusing to find your room, elevators and parking garage. Also I did not realize that they charged for parking per day.
Room AC worked well. Nice bathroom amenities. Booked 2 suites (same $) . One was a suite, one was definately not. Staff confused and a little inept. The elevator smelled disgusting throughout the stay & had no AC so you held your breath every ride.
We had a nice and spacious room with a balcony overlooking the sea. What we did not like is the fact that the hotel is made of several intricated buildings. Our kids's room was far from our room and from the lobby.
After we upgraded to a room with Ocean view the experience was wonderful. The Key West View room we originally booked had an awful view of mostly other rooms, balconies, concrete and car park. You could see a bit of ocean from one corner of the balcony but to call that a room with a view was an exaggeration. We had to upgrade to get a nice view. The move to Ocean View room was expensive but totally worth it.
The localization. The construction of the hotel almost inside the sea. The bridge over the sea. The garden and the lights at night... The vallet isn´t necessary at all. The Serbian recepcionist take an enternity with us and our bags all around the hotel from the lobby till the room.
I felt comfortable and will come back again. Internet was very slow, and because of that I could not finish my work on timely maner. Slow internet.
Room service was quick but expensive was not impressed by this place. For the money it costs you expect a certain standard of customer care. When we arrived we had to wait in a queue to be checked in. Then the receptionist decided to answer the phone and chat to his colleagues before acknowledging our presence. They allow pets, which is great when people take their dogs and leave in the hotel room all night and the dog barks constantly under the small hours of the morning! Would not stay here again.
Free shuttle to the town Quiet location Expensive but its Key West Rooms a little dated Pool is small, but not crowded when I was there
Cleanliness and freindliness of the staff. The view from our room was overlooking the back parking lot and in the mornings it was noisy.
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Location was a not so good but the free shutlle service helped. Pool was not in use and this was not informed with the reservation.
