The staff were helpful, the location was good, the rooms were clean. The TV channels were limited to Japanese ones only. There should be at least a couple of English news channels. No English newspapers were available.
Hotel Staff are very very poor in English and communications
My Japanese is not good, and the staff was very patient. The room was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. I liked the "ladies' room" gifts and the toiletries in the room. I had a shiatsu massage late at night and they let me go over the scheduled time. Pajamas were included with the room, but they were one size only. I'm a fairly large person and couldn't fit into them. It might be better if they had other sizes available.
Extremely clean, great wifi Bed was too firm, but that is normal in Japan. Staff could speak better English; only one attendant was fluent and the others were very difficult to communicate with, although they were all exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
Super clean, perfect location. Bed was too firm, but that is normal in Japan. Some reception staff didn't speak English.
The room was so comfortable and much larger than expected. And the sweeping view of the city and the mountain from the room was incredible. I wanted to have a Spa treatment but it was booked out on the day. I wish it was open longer hours till late so that more people could use it.
very polite staff, convinient location, very clean, everybody is ready to guide and help costumers with abeutiful smile.
Stuff is friendly, it may be small but it's clean. Free coffee although I didn't have any. It is smack right in the middle of a 'restaurant district' hence, we don't have to struggle with getting a reasonably priced meal. It is within walking distance from SOGO, cable car, waterfall (which I didn't get to go because my trip was too short, I am to be blamed of course and if one is not too fussy, we can do all our shopping under one roof. The only problem which unfortunately for most 3rd culture individuals like myself is I cannot get internet connection as long as I am in my room. The only internet connection is at the lobby. To me, no Japanese hotels should lack such facilities because they are supposed to be pretty advance in technology. Stereo-typing or complimenting? It all depends on perspectives isn't it?
The hotel is in a good location. We were given a smoking room and would have preferred a non-smoking room. When we asked the receptionist for a non-smoking room, she shared with us that there where no non-smoking rooms available and gave us an air freshener. The room smelled very strongly of smoke and it was very hard to enjoy the space.
Impeccably clean, neat and well kept; excellent location; and great value for the money! Free laundry facilities and coffee were very useful too. One of those hotels that it is easy to "stay in," rather than venture out at night - it's that comfortable. Like anywhere in Japan, rooms are not large, and the check-in time of 3:00 p.m. is enforced. If you stroll in earlier, expect to wait. But the Gals at the front desk are polite, and porting your bags is not a problem.
a little bit expensive. Good for go shopping,品尝各种食物也是不错的住处哦。
Courteous and helpful staff. Excellent room facilities.
Good location, close to the station. Easy to find. Lots of restaurants and bars around, very lively area. The hotel is clearly overprised, for 180 euro per night I expected something much better. The rooms are by far too small for the price they ask, there is no space to put your suitcase, not to mention to try to unpack it. Most of the staff at the reception do not speak english, which for such an expensive hotel is really embarasing. The hotel will do for one or two nights but I do not recommend it for longer stay because of the high prices and the small size of the rooms.
