Pool is great, though door was ahrd to open. I had the biggest bed ever Staff was not very nice, I had the feeling she felt she was superior to everyones else... If you do not go with the car, hotel is in a residential area, far from city center
Nice staff ! Room service trays was left outside the room for 24 hours!!
Great value for your money It might be a bit far from the city centre
The best aspect of the hotel is the close proximity to the Tony Garnier concert hall. We specifically chose this hotel to ensure that we had no problems about transport, etc to attend a concert. 1. Same exact breakfast served every day - possiby some slight variation/choice would be welcome. 2. Basic detail/brochures on use of metro or Lyon attractions is lacking - example hotel could have a display stand with local attractions & metro routes.
The room had a very modern bathroom. It was extremely quiet. Great food and comfort through roomservice The internet which was featured as an option on the in room entertainment system did not work.
Nice bathroom Not so good location
Staff were extremely helpful and the facilities excellent. We were travelling with a toddler and really appreciated the welcome we and our toddler received.
i like the bathroom it was clean and bright so far nothing much
Good service, good staff, clean rooms, nice bathroom Only one elevator worked, the parking spaces are very small
Location is handy to go to the city with Metro. Nice parking place, excellent room price of parking car is a little high
New building, clean, great room layout. Not knowing where to stay in Lyon, this hotel was just a random pick. The neighborhood it is in left some things to be desired, but it's not really the fault of the hotel itself. It's a quick walk from the hotel to the Metro, so learn it quickly.
Modern design suite very functional, highly recommended Wifi for Apple products not working, Android was ok
Position of the hotel near the railway station, nice staff, quiet and appropriate room. No internet facilities.
beds were comfy.location was pretty good, room was clean on your website it states that we can check in at 1300.we arrrive on saturday at 1230 and hotel was closed ! we had to walk around Lyon city for 6 hours until it opened for check in at 1800 ! we were terriblely tired and uncomfortable,it ruined our day in Lyon because bookin.com did not advise the correct hours of check in on Sat which is 9am-12 and 1800 to 2000.
It was located in a quiet location and was only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. The receptionist spoke perfect english and were very helpful. They let us keep our car in the carpark for fee all day while we went sightseeing before leaving. The area that it is located is not very scenic.
The room was basic but comfortable, would suit a family or tourist on a budget more than a business traveller. The doors are locked at 10pm and so is the reception, The location is not the best. Some soap/shampoo in the bathroom would have been nice.
Very bad staff, reception do not work after 21:00, you are unable to call them or to chekin after 21;00. Very small, in room it smells like someone died yestarday, a lot of noise, no parking, They do not accept Americanexress and some type of visa. They do not print receipes, no chek out info available. Bery strange hotel with very bad rooms and very bad staff. Pictures on booking.com are not the same as the real hotel. never use this hotel, you might be also charged additionakl taxes and the manager of this hotel will chrge you additional money for everything. For example I booked a parking place and a double studio room,i ve got small dirty room for 1person with small bed, without any conditioning system,no tv,no bath supplies, no parking
We arrive near 22hs, and the reception was closing. We have not towels att the room, and nobody to replace them.
It was a great location close to a tram stop so it was very easy to get around Lyon. The reception desk was closed when we arrived in the afternoon and we had to wait for it to reopen. We don't remember being notified of this on the web site.
Very friendly staff - Room well equipped and spotlessly clean - very close to tram, bus and metro stops. Supermarket and shops very close also. We were also upgraded from a 2 to a 3 bed room for not extra cost. only a minor issue but a kettle in the room would have been nice !
that is was closed to metro that i was using The comportment of the stuff the fact that i pay too much money and in a terme of 2and a half weeks they cleaned the room once and you had to pay extra for the changing of towels. Furthermore the first day i entered the room it was'n clean at all.
very nice staff , swiming pool , big comfortable studios with full equipment , good for family holidays.
the room I could only check in the hotel on sunday between 13:00 and 19:00. and did not know about this in advance, so I had no room the first night. I consider this a serious limitation of the hotel and never had this before. Furthermore, there was problems with warm water. Hald the time there was no warm water.
Quiet room, very nice and clean, good breakfast, very friendly staff nothing wrong
In the Internet there is no information that fitness centre does not work in the weekends.
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. There was no warm water whatsoever for a shower.
Fantastic Hotel, good quiet location with very easy transport (by Tram) to centre of Lyon. Lovely rooms clean and modern. The reception staff were very helpful.
Great location near metros, tram and train station. Restaurant in the hotel can easily accommodate groups of 6-8, for dinner or drinks. Food is a little expensive, but super convenient! Funky cool interior and fantastic front desk staff! Hotel room is very minimalistic, small and lacked enough room lighting, and space for clothing. Refrig was designed to accommodate their 'charged' drinks. There was no way to chill anything from the outside.
convenience for transport and sight seeing rooms 'cramped' for two people, corridors dark giving hotel a rather overall gloomy feeling.
location and cleanliness
Close to Metro, clean accommodation . Free Wifi It was close to metro but we were harrased every time we left the front door - not pleasant at all. Room was very small - Aircon didn't work, when we reported this we were told that it didn't work when it was hot!!
the breakfast was great person checking in at night was a guy with headphones who didnt even take them off to serve people
Nice lobby. The room, though small, suited my short-term visit. Quiet neighborhood, despite the tram. The free breakast was tasty and served all my needs. The rooms are somewhat small, so for me carrying two suitcases and one bag, it was cumbersome to find space. However, on a weekend-trip with less luggage, this hotel should be just fine.
Some of the staff was very poor!
Superb breakfast. Weekly wifi rate very reasonable. Walking distance to central city Room smelt of smoke and urine. Badly in need of updating - paint in bad condition, bathroom tiles chipped. Only 3 tv channels. Roof above the landing leaked during rain - made stairs very treacherous. Room very small
The bathroom was clean and the Hotel was well located for public transport. If other guests could be controlled it was very quiet at night. The decor of the room was dismal and depressing as was the corridor. Although I had requested a nonsmoking room, the room and bed reeked of smoke. It was very noisy on the first two nights with juveniles in the next room shouting and banging till well after midnight. The hair dryer did not work. The coffee at breakfast came from a machine and cafe au lait tasted like cappucino not like proper french cafe au lait.
Good breakfast buffet. Cheap underground parking very nearby. Very convenient and good value
The Hotel is located in a not fancy place but there's a Subway at 100 meters. The breakfast was very good with many options. The matresses need substitution. The wallpaper need substitution or just be scraped off and having the walls painted.
The hotel is situated in a nice place, near the city center (close to a train station, close to the river). It is close to all city's sights but the place is quiet during the night time. My chamber was realy clean and comfort.
the location that is very suitable for the visite of the city
Clean room. Nice bathroom There were some noise from the street
nice, comfortable clean rooms not that much in the area, however easy access to city
Accommodation large and comfortable and recommendation given for eating and map provided of city Very noisy
very "safe" parking facilites, however only for smaller cars as you have to use an elevator for the car, cooking facilities in the room
Good price-quality ratio. The TV had only French channels.
Good for overnight stay
Nothing I found the recepcionist very unfriendly and rude. The policy of this pension (it cannot be called as hotel at all) is really unfair, beware!!! There is absolutely nobody after 7pm, which means that you won't get access to the room afterward at all, even if you have paid already, and nobody answers the tf, even though the emergency one. This is what has happened to me after 10 hours of driving to Lyon. Instead, with bad manners, the day after I received a call leting me know that the money wouldn't be reinbursed, that it has been my fault since I did not call back before 7pm. Beware!!
Proximity to ens, free wifi Noisy street and bad quality windows not isolating from the noise, no breakfast offered
Very kind staff at the reception. Clean big appartment. Good advise for nice payeble restaurants and near the stadion Olympic Lyon. Very good price/quality. There is no breakfast and bar in the hotel.
VERY clean, WONDERFUL breakfast, PLEASANT & HELPFUL staff. Maybe I am spoiled, but I am used to a hotel having bar soap and shampoo for the shower. So...I had to use soap that was in the shower for everything, but it seemed to work OK. I also would have like a choice of a thinner pillow. But I can't complain - everyone was very nice & the breakfast was delicious.
A pleasant hotel, good value for money, great staff.
Great location and very friendly staff. Room was small but clean The bed was a bit uncomfortable
I went to lyon for 5 days, it was quite allright. The rooms where clean, but tiny. The toilet and bathroom are in the corridor. they are hygienic and clean. The people where quitte friendly. Personally I think the continental breakfast was a little bit overprised but if you go down the street of the hotel, there is a bakery where you can have a little breakfast for three euro. Overall I was quitte pleased, you get exactly what you paid for.
convenient, near city, tram, metro. Flexible check in time. Good price. Free wi-fi. Room is standard. Bath towers should be newer. Should have shampoo in the bathroom. Should have a hairdryer too. Have wi-fi internet connection problem some time.
Staff was very warm, friendly and kind. The room was nice and romantic. Not too far from the center of the city, but not as close as we expected. The floor of the room was very dirty, full of stains. No soap in the bathroom. No courtains in the shower, so that water was spilling all over. Parts of the bathroom floor were broken. Breakfast was absolutely not worth 5 euro each. During our stay in France we went to hotels that offered a much much better service, cleaning, room quality and breakfast for the same price.
The guy at reception was a decent bloke. Reception was closed when I arrived. The emergency number did not work and the keys to my room were locked in a safe for which I did not have a combination. I had to spend the first night in Lyon on the streets - I luckily met a friendly bunch of students who let me crash in their hall for the night. I don't know what I would have done if I had not met them.
