Rooms are very nice as is lobby and the facilities The area , near the train station, is typical of what you find in germany these days as it is overrun by unsavory refugee types
Great hotel in great location
the hotel is of a very high standard and the facilities are excellent
best hotel ever
The spa had to pay for internet- wifi should be free guys
close to train station spa was closed even though we inquired about it before staying there
Service is excellent. I arrived the hotel exhausted at 7:30am. Reception let me check into the room without extra cost. The hotel is a six year old one. It is a very nice modern hotel in a revonated old building. The location is right by the central train station. Transportation is convenience, but not as nice as the other five stars hotels in the area. Anyway, this is by far the best among all the hotels I stayed in Munich before (and I have stayed at Four Seasons and Bayerpost, ...) Nothing to complain.
Location, staff, room, facilities, swimming pool, restaurant, hotel looks etc. Most of it. Not a big problem but if you like to have bath tub, you need to ask for it in advance as not all rooms are equipped. Also we like the aircondition to run a little cooler but it was OK.
concierge very helpful.. late check out help a lot
nice rooms, nice spa Apparently there are no king size beds in this hotel despite the advertising in booking and in sofitel sites. only single beds.
Close to train station Wasn't crazy about the room design
Excellent service Bit expensive, breakfast very expensive and bar a bit small
theirs great restraint for dinar and good serves rely thanx allot its mazing
The rooms are wll furnished, good high speed internet, excellent central location The Breakfast is a total rip off. It does not matter what you order, you pay €27. Thi sis simply outrageous rip off.
Ambiance, cleanliness and nice staff
Classic and classy design, location, staff, breakfast, the music at the bar.
The decoration of the room and the free wi-fi. The exterior of the building
It was alright. It is currently being renovated and we were in a room that is not on any of the maps of the hotel floors so we couldn't find out room at first. Not the best neighborhood
Location, really close to main train station. Helpful staff. Clean room. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Internet did not work in our room.
Great spacious room , very clean , very good breakfast. Close to main rail station...The cute dog in mornings Nothing
Close by Banhof for easy local travel Friendly staff Good breakfast
Short walk from Munich Central Station, good value, comfortable, clean, unique art decorating the hotel. Clientele seemed to be adult, relatively young, European travelers and back packers. I arrived at the same time as a rather rowdy crowd. I was traveling for work, but most of the persons I observed and came across seemed to be on holiday and enjoying themselves. Can be a pro or a con.
Great Location Excellent Breakfast Buffet In order to speak to the receptionist, one has to come down to reception - no phone connection
The location was superb - close to everything, especially the main train station, and yet extremely quiet. Loved the lavish breakfast every morning and the room was tiny but clean.
Please write at least 15 words
The Location is really good. Just under 10 mins walk from the main Station. The Stairs up the lobby could be dificult for people with heavy lagguage.
Rest after long walks on a city Close room
Location. Very close to central train station. Renovated room. Poor lighting in room enterance. Pillows in the room were too soft, needed to be folded several times to be used as pillows.
Nice modern atmosphere and central location No tea and coffee facilities, breakfast room to small and always busy.
Almost everything The breakfast was very nice The room was big, quite, clean and tidy The stuff were helpful and friendly The parking was a lil bit expensive 25£/day
Staff was very helpfull and kind. They gave us a new renovated room and alot of helpfull tips about restraunts. The room was new and clean. The hotel is very close to main station which is good if you are traveling by train. Ibut if your intention is shopping and sightseeing, yhat means you have to walk a lot or take the tram for two stops. The lobby is very dark and crowded like a train station. We booked a double deluxe room for two nights ten days before the date, with a reasonable price and then when we want to extended the reservation to three nights they charged us very expensive price almost two times which is ridicolous. It must be the same price if you already have a reservation.
The interior was welcoming, spacious and the wonderful waft of spicey candles in the foyer induced an immediate response of relaxation. The room was large, luxurious and so comfortable. Staff were superb, friendly and helpful.
everything especially the breakfast
Staff friendly and multi-lingual, clean rooms, excellent location and a nice ambience about the place. All pillows and duvets were feathers and the drinks in the bar are very pricey - 7,50 euros for a beer. No tea and coffee facilities in the room.
close to the shopping malls
Comfortable rooms and very friendly service Expensive breakfast!!
Good breakfast; good bar; room was good size and good facilities; health club was excellent; location is good TV broke twice in 3 days. Is there a problem with the TV's or with the power supply? Difficult to get room cool enough
garden room service is a bit late
location, service, cleanliness, hotel staff
Decent hotel for a decent price, recommended for those travelling by train - just next to the station if you choose to use the parking and drive a bigger car, reconsider. it's a true challenge to go in or out without a single scratch.
The location was excellent for a single mature woman travelling solo and using the train as the main form of trasport. All sights were in walking distance. Very good. The staff were friendly and helpful to give tourist information. For the price and location and on a budget I would recommend the hotel to travellers. Bathroom was small, but for one person was fine No fans in room when it got warmer.
Fair quality stay. High price for the room quality. Missing heating in the bathroom floor. Expencive www conection.
Proximity to train station. Good hotel for non-sophisticated people like me. Furniture in the rooms looks outdated, question of style I guess. But functional.
clean and cheap
Breakfast selection was good refreshed reguarly, easy access to stations and can walk to most attractions.
Great option to stay in. Modern, confortable and the staff's kindness and professionalism is outstandingly great! Location is perfect, all the tours and the main train station is around the corner as well as the public transport (tran and bus) very centric and useful. Nothing really, everything was great... I would love something to eat at night or at least a vending machine though.
I asked them a quite room and I stayed in the quite room. Wifi isn't free, but I could use it for free in my room because of another generous hotel. (It opens it to all) Nothing is included (breakfast, internet ...) but not cheap. It's near to the train station, but at first it was difficult to find. They start to clean the room 9:20~40 in the morning and they just open the door. When I was in the room, they came back later, but they did it every morning.
the hotel staff is friendly and approachable and thus make my stay more pleasant. the rooms are abit old and there are no aircondition which is very hot during summer
Incredibly good breakfast buffet. Surprisingly quiet room for such a busy area of Munich (room opened onto back alley lot) Extremely pleasant and hospitable staff. Room was a bit cramped, but good value for the price.
We stayed here for 2 days on the front end of a 17 day European trip and it was the perfect way to kick it off. Rooms were clean, bright and comfortable and well appointed. The staff was amazing, very accommodating and helpful. Hotel is within walking distance of main plaza and shopping as well as train station. If in Munich, would totally stay here again. Nothing.
seemed that the hotel was a bit understaffed.
Very clean & modern, helpful friendly staff, lovely breakfast, comfy beds!! cannot think of anything; it was wonderful!
Convenient location to station, Oktoberfest and city. Small room.
We had a group at the Treff for the Oktoberfest. This was a great hotel for the group close to the fest and close to the center. It is located in the middle of the red light district
very clean and vwry nice/helpful staff
no blanket single sheet no face cloths
The hotel was new and so the rooms were still fresh, modernly appointed and barely worn. My wife and I were in Munich for Oktoberfest and one of our days there was a national holiday. The front desk staff were uninformed as to what was open or not (i.e., museums) on the holiday and were ill-informed about the hours of Oktoberfest which struck us as a bit unusual, nor did they make an effort to find out.
Clean, easy to find, staff very helpful, and a/c. Only one elevator and location seems somewhat seedy, but not too bad. Only have to weather a block or two before getting to hotel.
NIcely appointed standard hotel room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to station and Marienplatz. There was a mechanical droning sound in the room which the hotel staff could not explain.
It was clean & breakfast was good. The rooms were great. The lobby had great brochures & things. The WiFi was decent. Each device required its own code. And you had to sign in each time you left the property. The guy that was at the front desk during the afternoons was awful. He was rude & insulting to us. He had an attitude about us being tourists in Germany - he snickered when we told him him we went to the Hofbräuhaus. We did not appreciate his attitude.
Did not restock soap last 2 days. Heater was only marginal in sept. Hate to be there in dec.
Location, in front of train station and close to historical sites. Surprising very quiet. Bed very comfortable! No towels in the bathroom and staff took a hour to bring them. Call service never was available and tv system was not working properly. 160 dollars night for a hotel should be no more than 100 bucks!
Across the street from the main railway station - if you travel with an early morning train, as I did, the location could not be better. Faux modernism of the interior
Good amenities, and I appreciated that they have their lights on timers even in the hallways. The staff were also rally helpful with some of my sillier questions. I was facing the train station so it didn't feel very private if I wanted natural light. I'd suggest putting some of those diffusing curtains up as an option - in addition to the blackout ones.
The rooms were large and the furnishings were new and clean. Everything just felt comfortable. The location was great, right across from the Munich main station. You can go anywhere by the trains. Around the hotel are plenty of restaurants, bars, banks, supermarkets and other nightlife. You will not be bored. I have to give special compliments to the front desk staff as they were the most helpful team I've ever encountered. They attended to our every need with a smile and professionalism.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
interior room, double doors to ensure the silence in the room expensive breakfast
Excellent location within a seconds approximity to Main Station, S- abd U-bahn.Facing to pedestrnian street surround by shops and small restaurants. Very good breakfast and staff of the hotel. Rooms facing to the street are too noisy: you will hear all trams passing by as well as water falling in the bathroom of next room. Please ask a room facing the inner yard.
Service No air con
friendly staff, clean room, nice decorated lobby, the location of the hotel.
Convenient location near train station, cleanliness, relaxed atmosphere.
A correct four-star hotel very well placed for train travellers and excellent value during the summer season. There is a very popular, but pretentious, wine-bar bistro (Lyonnais bouchon style). Many of the rooms are arranged in pairs so as to have adjoining bathrooms. In our room the noise from the neighbouring bathroom was disturbing, particularly after much beer drinking.
location, interior, cleanliness price of breakfast
It was very near all the major city sites the cost of using the minibar
Front desk personnel were excellent in helping us. Your breakfast is expensive, but the main person was abrupt and the personnel were not attentive to my reuqests and sometimes no one was there to even ask.
the hotel was good and its position also good but there is no room services that mean you must carry your luagge and every thing you want serve your self>>>minibar is free
the location is excellent, the staff are helpful.
location, but was very noisy surrounding. I also loved the interior design. Would be great if they provide room service.
Location is perfect. One of the nicest rooms and bathrooms I've stayed in while in Europe.
The hotel location is excellent in the middel of everything shopping transportation and all other activiteis Rooms was not as requisted they game at the 1st flour rooms can't change. The room can't be closed from inside, twice it happen hotel staff open the room during our sleeping time.
The huge bathroom and the big shower cabin. Excellent location - within walking distance from the railway station and from the city center - and very helpful staff!
modern setting. good breakfast There was no safe in the room, that is awful for the city hotel.
perfect location, good breakfast, comfortable rooms. though the room was non-smoking there was a constant sigarets smell.
Comfortance, position close to marienplatz, design, breakfast.
the location is great.. the reception 50/50 i mean some of them werent friendly at all
Location is good, but not central (10-15 min. work). Hotel is mice, but not new.
It was centrally located and the staff were really nice. The room was always clean and it was great havinga small kitchen in the room. The room was at the front of the building and really really noisy and the internet did not work in the room at all...in the hallway outside the room but not in the room which was inconvenient as I was there for 7 days on business.
A modern hotel, beautifully decorated in grey and white. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Quiet despite central location. No
The room was ok but not great. Best was quiet and good bathroom. The location is terrible it is in one of the worst parts of the city center in Munich. I would never recommend anyone to stay here because of the location.
Had tea & coffee and kitchenette facilities. Nice size comfortable room. Nice breakfast. No shampoo, conditioner or body lotion.
Centrally located design hotel. Spacious room with great amenities. Excellent breakfast!
Very nice hotel. It has the feel of a small hotel even though it is quite large. The decor is very clean and modern. We stayed twice in the hotel and both rooms were a good size and well equipped. They provide a kettle with a range of coffee/tea and the rooms even have a small kitchen area with fridge, microwave and a 2 ring hob if you fancy self-catering. Bathrooms are modern and spotless with a good walk-in wet room shower. The hotel doesn't really have a lounge, although there are a couple of seats by reception and staff were quick to offer us a coffee on arrival. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of continental style options served in the breakfast room next to reception. They don't seem to have a restaurant or bar, but the hotel is in a central location and there are plenty of alternatives nearby (and again, staff were very helpful with suggestions).
Close to main station, free wireless internet, the staff was very nice and friendly, cozy and practical furnished room
Nice, clean, spacious rooms with all the necessary amenities. The parking and the staircase were a bit run down. Dodgy area.
Great hotel - very new. Central loation ideal.
i really liked the cleaniless and the youth of the room especially the see through glass room bath. i think looking into all ascepts, the price should be 100 or less than 100 euro per night for the room.
Clean, friendly and perfectly situated for the Bahnhof and City Centre. An ideal base for those on business at the Messestadt, which is in easy reach (15mins) on the U-Bahn.
Location, helpful front desk No
The location of the hotel could not be better, near the central station, most of tourist attractions and the shopping area. The hotel is modern and the breakfast was very good. There was nothing I did not like at this hotel.
The location of the hotel was great. It was clean and the staff was very helpful.
Very friendly staff! The shower was not clean during the two nights I stayed. Hairs were sticking at the wall. It is not appreciated that the hotel did not credit airline miles.
Hotel has some really nice features in the room. Breakfast is very poor, no flat tv in the room and way to small and distant from bed.
the only thing i liked about the hotel is that it's close to the center the room is too small, and there is no parking space
An excellent hotel for location and the attitude of staff! Internet was patchy but the staff did everything to quickly sort it out.
Immaculate rooms and the feeling of luxury.
Beatiful two-story room with two living gareas
Excellent staff, great location, very clean....I would stay there again. $12 euros for a local call was crazy but this was on me not knowing the rules.
Clean, spacious and tidy rooms, also good hotel staff. Wireless Internet inside the rooms shoud be free.
Great location near the train station. Modern clean rooms and we had a quiet courtyard room.
Very original and artistic hotel and rooms decoration, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, central location, nice breakfast, in generall an excellent hotel, high recommended!! Pay TV a bit complicated. Only one movie at a time and no information on which movies are played
good location close to the trai station. nice rooms. would have been good if breakfast had been included in the price. also would have been nice to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room
the price of the rooms was good there is no concierge in the hotel which make us having trouble asking what and where to go
Location convenient to the train station. The immediate area was rather seedy.
Good breakfast, good location Too annoing red colors of the corridor walls
in the city center
The hotel was very close to the train station and was very nice. One of the best hotels on the trip. A good deal!
Friendly, delicious breakfast, free wi-fi, good location
Amazingly efficient and friendly staff. The hotel decor is a bit dated but they obviously try to make up for this through fantastic service e.g. we received a complimentary fruit basket in our room. Fantastic breakfast. There was no air conditioning in our room which could be problematic in summer - however they did provide a fan for our use.
The location was excellent, the staff friendly and the breakfast was great. The room was large and comfortable. Overall it was great but we found the pillows very uncomfortable.
The gentle hotel staff, the fantastic breakfast, the good taste (decoration, room furniture etc), the good location (centre), the cleanliness and the welcoming feeling in general.
Small family run hotel. Nice breakfast. Room quite big and nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location - very closed to S-Bahn and old town. Free internet and mini-bar items for 2 eur. Bathroom quite small. No kettle in room.
Everything! The staff was great, breakfast was a good variety, and the room was huge! Smoking indoors, but hey, that's Germany
The staff was wonderful: helpful, cheery and always courteous. The breakfast was exceptional with exotic fresh fruits daily. We had a lower level room and traffic noise was a problem.
Breakfast was outstanding, staff was polite and knowledgeable about the local area. Very clean and neat, eclectic decor The beds were quite uncomfortable and synthetic bed covering were quite hot, making for a poor night's sleep.
Great breakfast buffet and inexpensive parking. Beautiful courtyard that would be great for breakfast in the summer. 10 minute walk to marienplatz. Wifi access was difficult to use with an iPhone due to the frequent need for re-login using a complicated key
Could not believe how nice of a place for the money. Beautiful garden view, room small but perfect (only a single), great location, excellent breakfast, fruit plate on arrival, etc. Would definitely stay again. Staff were very friendly but not especially helpful when asking about local attractions / local area.
Rooms are big and breakfast is very good. Location is also a plus. No Air Conditioner and not very well ventilated. Hotel staff kind but not trained.
Staff was very helpful and pleasant None
comfort kind reception of all staff members
Centeralized location, perfectly kind of breakfast, cheerful service and rate.
Attention of the reception staff and restaurant. Silent room. No diabetic beakfast option (only as an improve)
Very helpful and friendly staff. No airconditionning in the rooms.
The location and cleanliness. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was small and the shower flooded the room (454). For a 3 star hotel I thought the facilities were poor - I couldn't get an iron in my room and the soap/shampoo was minimal.
Friendly staff and location of hotel External noise from street overnight and early morning. no air con, so windows had to be left open during heatwave.
Size of room; decent Primarily location next to the train station (most of the hotels in Munchen) one does not feel safe to get home at night, especially for women; hotel trying to find its level between 3 and 4 stars; parking in public carpark, granted close-by
Staff were great. Very, very clean and attractive. Outside terrace very nice. The weather was very hot. The only thing we could have wanted was air conditioning in the rooms. They were generously providing fans which helped. Otherwise, great stay.
The breakfast, free wifi service, close to Central train station and within the city centre. The price fluctuates very much.
This hotel is very easy to find and it's location is ideal for travelers less familiar with the city.
The location was excellent - it is across from the main trainh station and very close to old town.
close to public transport noisy rooms on the street side, in need of refurbishment
Very convient hotel close to main train station. Room was comfortable, ample and attractive. Excellent breakfast with early start. Good price/value for being close to train station.
It was very convenient. We used the train, bus, subway and also walked to the Christmas markets. Sightseeing bus was right there too.
it's location (close to the center), the breakfast, how warm was the room when outside was -2 C the smell of food in the corridor of the 1st floor, the unique elevator for all 7 floors
Very central ,Big &comfortable room, very good breakfast, and reasonable price.
bottle of water for someone that arrives late. everything was ok
clean, great location, good breakfast
Location is excellent, able to walk anywhere in the city and main train station is a block away. No air conditioning and the street outside was too noisy to leave the doors open. We asked for a fan and they delivered it promptly to the room and all was good.
Very friendly and English speaking staff. On arrival there was no non-smoking double room available, so I was placed into a single room. At least the hotel reduced the rate automatically.
Clean, convenient and easy - no problems. As with all hotels in the area, price was triple what it should have been due to events in the area. Over priced but average for area and time.
The bar, breakfast, the court yard garden The rooms were very warm and there was only a fan provided in one of the rooms.
Staff, location and breakfast. No refregiator in the room.
The room was quiet and private. The staff were helpful in giving directions and answering questions. The breakfast was good.
Theres nothing not to like about the Conrad. The service is always prompt, the hotel property is clean, modern and well maintained. The breakfast is plentiful and varied enough for any taste. The staff is always available to assist in manner in which they can. Bottom line the Conrad is the best hotel in its class in Munich.
Out of the main tourist areas but close to them via bus.
The staff was great Not regular room cleaning . Our room wasn't cleaned for out entire stay
Large comfortable rooom. Clean, tidy and quite swish. Little out of the way
the accommodation was great good location for access to everything
The rooms were nice.
Instead of a mini bar the hotel stocks the fridge with complimentary beers and water for your arrival, nice touch. We stayed in a double facing the street and had no problems with noise whatsoever (rooms facing the courtyard are more expensive). Other reviews on the the site indicated that the hotel was poorly located for the city centre but the transport links (including the number 58 bus that stops extremely close by) are excellent. Some minor maintenance issues with the room e.g. missing light and missing skirting board near door. Cooking facilities included in room but no utensils.
The staff were really friendly, and even after I left my keys and phone in the room they posted them back to England very qickly for me. The apartment layout really worked well and it was nice that we had the comfort of a hotel, but could still cook our own food. It wasn't made clear that we would be charged 25 euros extra per bed in the room
Pleasant staff, comfortable and quiet rooms, free minibar was nice (included beer). Decent location (about 10 mins by #58 bus to central train station). The room smelled of smoke or some other chemicals, though it was a non smoking room.
Comfortable rooms, decent breakfast, mini-kitchen distance from underground station
Quiet location. Good breakfast. Not convenient for U-Bahn, but convenient for bus once I mastered the bus routes and how to pay.
Clean, comfortable, very convenient. Felt closer to home than staying in a regular hotel. Staff was awesome and very accommodating.
