Excellent room (we got more than we expected), friendly and helpful staff, nice bar at the lobby (they served draft beer at a fair price). The hotel isn't exactly next to the city centre, but the Machtfingerstasse U-Bahn is just around the corner, and you can get to Marienplatz in around 15 min. And there is also a huge supermarket just around the corner. PS: Great view from our apartment. Wi-fi, but no computers available for "notebookless" people.
Every things is very nice. Completely new.Nice staff
Location to the 'U' , cleanliness, and the lobby-lounge area by the main entrance. Staff was very helpful and polite. The room was very small, not enough room for 2 suitcases and very little privacy in the bathroom.
Comparing with Munich common saulty and greasy food, the breakfast in this hotel was really good. stayed there for 4 nights, water was not hot enough at the 2nd night.
Location was good, only 15 minutes by subway to the city centre. Room was really clean and modern. Didn't like that there was no breakfast included in the price. You could pay extra to have breakfast but I felt it was too expensive considering I usually just have some tea and a breadroll!
absolutely everything was excellent no
The ACHAT Premium Hotel München Süd has an excellent staff, both friendly and helpful. The accomadations were new and clean. It was no more than a 3-5 minute walk to the subway station, where you could reach any part of the city.
beautiful and modern design hotel. Rooms are very nice. Privat parking in garage. Excellent breakfast. The offering at the rooms minibar was poor (for two persons only a small water bottle and an orange juice)
The room and design. The hotel is too far away from downtown.
The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The one problem we had with our room (the power went out due to a blown fuse) was dealt with immediately and professionally. The location was not exactly central; 5-6 U-Bahn stops to get to Oktoberfest and that part of Munich, 9 stops to get to the center of Munich and then transfer to the main train station. However, when we called the hotel to get directions, they did provide clear and concise directions on how to get there. Also, there are very few restaurants in the immediate surrounding area, so unless you're looking to pay for the expensive hotel food, you'll have to take the U-Bahn to some place else to eat, which is very annoying for trying to grab breakfast.
Proximity to transport - rail Having to pay for the internet
Nice large room. Good complimentary coffee and croissants in the lobby. Not too far from the Underground, about 1/2 km. A/C did not work very well through the night (too warm). Bed comforters were too small and difficult to sleep with. TV remote control did not work and staff was unable to fix.
the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and the room itself was comfortable. Hotel bar was well stocked. Our TV did not work but this made no difference to us. It is located a bit outside of the centre of town (although transport links are excellent) and the hotel was a bit expensive even though we appreciate it was Oktoberfest!
the price of the hotel in this weekend was skyhigh. There was a lot of noise in the night
The hotel was comfortable and well located for our purpose of visiting a student at the nearby university. There was also plenty of street parking so that we didn't have to pay the high price of the hotel parking. The charge for internet access is exorbitant, especially since many other hotels don't charge anything; it is an annoying way of obtaining extra funds from guests. The price for breakfast is also exorbitant; as a result we went out for breakfast and saved half of the cost.
everything was fine ideal for a short stay. a bit busy guests are in and out!
The staff were excellent ,very attentive and courteous at all times. The location was great just 5 minutes to the UBahn. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff did not mind if we took some Brez,n or fruit. We booked this hotel for the pool but it was not open for half of our stay. Although the hotel is said to be 4 star it is more a 3 star. The towels were awful and the rooms are terribly dated despite being very clean. We also thought it was a bit cheap charging for internet access. Most 4 star hotels allow free access.
We got a cheaper the usual price on the hotel so basically we stayed in a 4 stars hotel in the price of a 3 stars hotel. Clean rooms. Even though the breakfast is not included you still get complimentary tea, coffee & cakes in the morning. 3 minutes walk from the U-Bahn metro train that takes you to the center in 10 minutes. Plenty of parking in the area if you are traveling with a car. For the price we got i got only one complaint: When ordering a room from booking.com, checking the "non-smoking" room in the reservation only appears as a preference at the holiday in computer. I recommend adding a remark asking for a non-smoking room. For us, the nice receptionist replaced our room with a non-smoking one but we were lucky to have one available.
Clean rooms Expensive stay
free internet access near the reception; clean and well-furnished room bad sound-proofing; heater doesn't work properly; extremely difficult to get right water temperature for shower using the two taps(hot and cold)
From check-in to check-out, the staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. They are more fluent in English than I and even helped me learn some German! I will not hesitate to book a room at Hotel Heigl when I return to Munich, and will be recommending it to friends :) The weather ;)
Very friendly staff and free parking available
room size, bathroons, breakfast and the staff. location too far from city center
Noisy, room layout unsatisfactory. I would not book this hotel again. Traffic noise, patition walls are so thin you can hear everything from the next room.
The staff were always willing to help in any way possible. The atmosphere is great if you're looking for a quiet stay in a good neighborhood. I would say the wi-fi signal could be better is all.
I liked the building very much, it looks good (German style) and is located in a suburb with lots of green and space. The restaurant is in a seperate building, and inbetween there's a garden-terrace. Breakfast is served in a sunroom. Friendly & good service.
free wi-fi, nice and clean room there was only one TV channel not in German
Comfortable, clean, charmingly German & the breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful and were very competent speaking English. It was nice too that there were good restaurants nearby & close to train station. People letting the doors close loudly.
Nice, quite area, comfortable room and friendly staff. Internet for free. Hotel is far from center. About 20 min with Bus and S-Bahn.
comfortable, large room, good location, good breakfast, free wifi
The very homely and welcoming feeling
My stay at the Pension Prinz was very nice. There are modern and beautiful rooms, . It is situated not far from S-Bahn station. Sarah, thanks a lot for your hospitality. I would like to come back!
cleanliness & size of the room, kind staff, good breakfast A little distance from city center; however, not a big problem if you have a car
Very comfortable rooms, and our hostess, Sarah, was wonderfully helpful. Normally, I think of a hotel as just a room, but our stay at the Prinz was one of the highlights of our short break to Munchen.
Hotel has reasonable price for Munich, offers free parking and internet, has pretty good rooms, staff is very nice. Located quite far from the city center, you need to walk 20 minutes to the nearest S-Bahn station.
The staff was excellent The TV channels select are not very good for non-German speaking visitors. Need to cater for visitors from other countries.
A very nice staff and a nice room. A bit far from the center of the city but well communicated (metro).
The staff was very helpful. They provided us directions for finding the local bus stop and train station. The hotel is in the middle of a residential area and is not easy to find for foriegn travelers. I had to use a GPS. The website indicated that the hotel had easy access to the local train station; however, we found that the train station was approximately 2 miles away. The hotel staff provided us with useful directions with bus and train schedules, but the directions were a little complex. My wife and I speak German so this wasn't a problem, but for someone who doesn't speak German it could be rather difficult.
Free internet Wi-Fi in room, free parking, nice location (silences) nothing
The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful.
The people who run the The Olympian are the best of the best...anything you need they will help... Need better locations with plugs definatly bring an extention card for your electronics... Need the circular adapter to fit into the sockets, gets a bit of a musty smell... Need to Keep the windows open
Nice, clean, safe hotel. Just what we expected from th information provided. Competent, pleasant staff. Adequate parking.
cozy environment; very capable staff; very generous breakfasts
It was clean, comfortable and had excellent transport links to Munich and surrounding areas. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. There was no lounge so the only place to relax was your room. I can see this might be a problem for friends in separate rooms who want to meet together to plan or review their day.
The breakfast was ok, the staff was friendly, but that would be the positives. No soap / shampoo in the whole hotel was provided. The room was a little bit dirty. The room door has not been cleaned for ages as you saw the dirty fingerprints.
Friendly staff, very delicious breakfasts, free parking and wi-fi.
Large room, the ladies are very nice and helpful. ShareBathroom very clean. Private Parking very old building, no internet in the room...only at the lobby.
Nice people and a located in a really nice area Just a little bit far away from the centre...
The area was quiet and relatively close to the subway (S-bahn). Breakfast was good and worth the extra 5 euro. The hotel advertised free wifi but the signal did not reach my room which was in the middle of the hotel. In order to get the signal I had to sit outside in the cold without the possiblity of connecting to electricity. The Gasthof portion of the hotel is old with a flair of nostalgia. The comunal bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
The hotel has good U ban connection and close to Zoo. No Telephone in the room.and my room was not cleaned or prepared for 3 days I stay in it
The best during my stay was the service, people were very helpful and nice, also the food was very good
Good transport in the area, clean rooms with good shower and wc, varied and plentiful breakfast. No television in the room.
works well to my needs, clean, safe place, economical and friendly staff. If for example travelling with my family, this is my choise.
This otel is good for young people :)
