While it is a little removed from the main streets of Osaka, it is within walking distance to many places to eat. We loved the traditional bathrooms. Seems a little far from main streets that have attractions, bus/ train options and food. This is a plus for quiet though.
Property is nice great staff. Rooms are very small. No air conditioning is a definite minus. 75 degrees outside and only option is to use the heat. Very noisy but hotel staff was accommodating to move room.
Free bus to station partly compensated for distance. Lounge prices were excessively high: 1300 yen for a cup of coffee (3 times the Starbucks prices), but there is nowhere else to sit to conclude a short business meeting.
The staff is very nice and helpful, even if you don't speak any Japanese. You can keep your luggage at the hotel before and after checking in or out. Japan is tight on space, so be prepared for a small room. If the bed was a little higher off the ground suitcases could fit easily. The step out of the bathroom is nearly a foot drop, I fell out of the bathroom a bunch of times.
Breakfast buffet was nice. Subway right outside. Convince stores and restaurants outside. Price. Double what I paid for a similar room in Tokyo.
Near bus station and train station. Smoking area is not totally secluded
there are private space and good atmosphere. They said there is internet in the room but when i got there they said i have to use at the lobby only
I really liked the size of the rooms. At first I was pretty skeptical about the place because all you can see from the front is what appears to be an old 50's style dinner, but once inside you will notice that the place is much bigger. I didn't like the location if this hotel. It was nice and I enjoyed staying there however it was tucked away on a side road and was kind of difficult to find.
The price was great as breakfast was included, and there was plenty of choices of bakery/bread,jams and drinks available for breakfast. It was a bit out of the way for stations but the closest was a 10-15 minute walk. Some of the staff's English was limited but communication was not a problem. The bathroom was a bit tired but the shower was excellent.
It was a real family hotel. I have seen many japanese families. Staff was very helpful, breakfast was ok with croissant,butter,jam,tea/coffee. Free internet and price compaired to japanese prices was very satisfactory. Location was for me a little bit far than i expected. If you like to be directly in the city center, or on a central street be careful. You need to take a bus to osaka station about 15 min. Wireless was not available from the room, you have to go downstairs. Only japanese channels on tv
