Brekfast, view from terrace
Great location next to the Colosseum. Friendly, helpful staff. Loft is spacious and suit for a family. Loft was located 5 min from the main hotel.
The view of the Colusseum from the hotel room and rooftop restaurant was breathtaking.
The hotel staff was excellent. Our loft was two blocks from the main hotel and could easily have been walk-able but the hotel had a cab take us and luggage to the loft as well as arranged for us to be picked up again and returned to the hotel the next morning. The view from the hotel terrace was spectacular. The Roman Colosseum was right across the street and made a lovely backdrop for our wonderful dinner. The loft apt. that we stayed in was stunning and the 4 of us were very comfortable staying there. Our stay at Hotel Gladiatori was the last night of our two week Italy visit and it made for the perfect ending to a wonderful trip.
Very clean. Staff friendly. Location next to colosseum was superb, would definately visit again
The view of the colosseum from our room The rooftop terrace for breakfast, drinks, light lunch etc is a wonderful place to hang out. The staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. The Metro runs along the street underground. The noise and the vibration were very disruptive at night especially on the lower floors. So ask for rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors. They said that they complained to the city to do something.
Pretty much everything. Nothing
amazing Colosseum view, a wonderful restaurant and definetelly a beautiful place to stay i was expecting a bit more of housekeeping in the room
Recently renovated and very modern. This was our first experience with a Bed and Breakfast and found it to be a wonderful alternative. You loose some amenities like a business center or gym but you receive a much more personalized and comfortable experience. They were very helpful in making reservations and general assistance. This was our first international traveling experience and they were very accommodating at all hours of the day/night. They provide a beautiful continental breakfast on their rooftop restaurant that overlooks the coliseum. The only concern is that their restaurant is very high end and when you look for eggs or any items that supplement the free continental breakfast, it can be very expensive.
The staff was professional and courteous. The room was a good size and very pleasant with an excellent view. The rooftop dining was excellent. none
location and friendly personel Lots of stains on the carpet, wall and sofa (where our daughter slept). Holes in the door. Fungus in the bathroom and a leaking tap which caused a lack of pressure so the swich to the shower didn't work. When insisting on a solution, after the receptionist sugestion to shower in the morning, I got acces to a 1p room to use the shower, but that one was so small my head hit the shower and I couldn't bend to wash my feet. It felt like a cheap motel in stead of a 4 star hotel.
Excellent staff, good food facilities and roof top pool lovely Hotel room was small and carpets were quite dirty. Shower very small, we are very slim people and just got in it!!
That you recommend a tour and was excellent Just the size of the bathroom, it was too small
It was good that the hotel provided the customers with two bottles of water per person on each day and also a fridge in the room. The shower cubicle was too small and the room could have been bigger considering the price we were charged per night.
Good location. Bar on the roof with a view on Colosseo. Terrible scent in the rooms (we were two families and have tried 3 rooms), lack of fresh air in the rooms due to the glass panels, that cover the windows. Furniture is quite old. Bath equipment is old and rather unpleasant to use. Rather hard beds.
The central location to visit all the historical sites The only downside was the insufficient staff for the rooftop bar/snack area. on our visit the area was busy with guests but only a single staff member to serve all.
Close to Colosseum and Roman Forum. Staff were friendly enough, but the hotel does not live up to Mercure's reputation at all. The breakfast is not worth the 15 Euros (burnt scrambled egg, for example, is not appertising) and you can hear everything from lifts going up and down to traffic noise from the room far too clearly. Then there's the matter of the air-conditioning being switched off in October, even if the days are still very warm. Not what it is cracked up to be.
staff was very helpfully, good service and most magnificent view at Colosseum ! shower is a little bit small !
The pool on the top of the building was nice, although small. Great view from our room and the top of the building of the Colosseum. Bar area was nice with a good selection. Staff very all helpful and friendly. Our air conditioning leaked and they moved us immediately. Easy access to all the bus routes. Pool was busy and there is very little seating area. Hotel was quite expensive for what you got. Breakfast was average.
Mostly everything The key continually stopped working resulting in going to the hotel room then having to trudge back to reception to have it reactivated. This happened six times in five days.
The rooms were very well appointed and staff were very attentive
The friendly and efficient staff and the location of the hotel very near the centre of Rome yet in a pleasant place. While they served a range of very good snacks during day and evening they had no restaurant. However there were plenty of places round about to eat.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful . The breakfasts were lovely and the staff in the dining area always smiling and polite . The hotel was in a good location , close to the attractions but nice and peaceful . We had booked a superior doube room and i felt for the price the room was slightly on the small side.
Helpfulness of staff . Location of hotel great . Room really clean and comfortable . Breakfast ok . terrace and facilities excellent.
Location, staff readiness to help,
most wonderful staff so wonderful food so wonderful the location so wonderful highly rec this hotel not one thing
Friendliness of the hotel staff, they are a real asset to the hotel. Water pressure in the shower in my room could have been higher, but on the plus side they replaced the shower head without me even needing to ask and that did improve things.
locality - staff - area - already recommended to friends
Very nice 4* hotel with style and atmosphere; very friendly staff. Lovely terraces. Small details to make this hotel even better: - more international tv channels (eurosport, etc.) - it would be nice to have the free internet in the lobby for a quick use
The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff in the breakfast room always had smiles on their faces and were so hospitable...a nice way to start the day. The front desk staff answered any questions we had and the map of Rome they gave us on the first day came in very handy. After taking a long walk on the first day and then returned to the room, seeing the slippers placed by the side of the bed was such a comforting sight. Customer service was exemplary. The location, too, was convenient to so many attractions, as we chose to do a lot of walking. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Great location next to the Colleseum. Excellent access to metro and bus. Walking distance from most major sights. Clean, comfortable rooms.
Central location, near to major historical sites. Breakfast availability. Reception staff not always quick to respond, though generally helpful.
very central within walking distance to most tourist destinations.
the hotel staff was very kind It was a not smoking hotel
nothing The room was small, there was mold on the wall in the bathroom, the bathroom facilities were very cramped, shower almost unusable, stains on the wall paper that was also pealing off due to age, bedding not clean, the breakfast was not even worth the fact that it was included in the price, the internet conection was ok and the only thing that made it worth paying for was to find another hotel...
Polite helpful staff, clean room, no-smoking hotel, location close to metro and sights.
The owner and Rosanna were very helpful. That is the best thing of all. The owner suggested a small museum that was a pure delight. The room was comfortable and large and tastefully furnished. They needed written instructions for the remote controls. They quickly review the instructions on two different remotes; however, the night clerk nor I could figure out how to change the language to English. They need a hook for a towel outside of the shower not across the room from it. Otherwise all was lovely.
good location poor breakfast
The personal level of services was outstanding. I felt as if I was staying with family. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Lack of wifi in the rooms but a cable was provided upon request
staff were charming and helpful. breakfast is brought to the room. beside the forum and colleseum. brilliant location no bar or dining room.
Very good situation of the hotel, good breakfast in your room, very clean, quiet, beautiful furniture, polite service
My daughter and I stayed just one night at the Caesar House. It was an easy walk from the train and well located near the Colluseum. The staff there was accessible and amazingly helpful. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. We highly recommend it.
Good location, basic accomodation, well maintained and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dreadful wifi connection.
very nice and quiet room. basic breakfast.
great location. On a noisy road
The staff were charming and helpful, and the location (within minutes' walk of the Forum and the Colosseum) excellent.
Hotel was ok for a one night stay. Very noisy
Location was excellent for visiting ancient Rome. A homely bed and breakfast feeling. Lucia the owner was very friendly. Noise of street gets very invasive. We could only sleep wearing earplugs. Tv was too small and had only Italian broadcasts.
excellent service, very nice and friendly reception desk, tasty and plenty of breakfast in the morning
The room was really noisy because of the loud traffic.
the location was excellent and the shower was good no reception , breakfast was awful street noise was unbearable
Good location, walking distance to all the major attractions, we even walked all the way to the Vatican however I was sooo tired afterward. Excellent service from staff, good restaurant recommendations and friently overall. Good rooms, a little on the small side but sufficient. Nice modern bathrooms. Breakfast was a dissapointment, not much variety and nothing hot or warm served. We were given a room on the ground floor and apparently next to the kitchen or prep area and were awoken early every morning by the clatter of dishes.
Everything was great would stay again Only negative was the beds were really hard
I can't say enough about how wonderful this little gem of a hotel is tucked near the Coliseum! The reviews were great but it exceeded my expectations. I am in the vacation rental business as well and stay at The Four Seasons often so I have high standards when I travel. The staff was extremely courteous and well informed. Offering free wifi was a very nice bonus. My suitcase broke in transit and the staff offered to repair it for me without charge. The decor was fresh, clean and pretty. There was a lot of beautiful stone work throughout the hotel which helped in giving it an old world feel. The complimentary breakfast was yummy and in a pretty setting. I will be back on my next trip to Rome, thank you!!
This hotel is steps away from Colosseum and within a short walking distance from Metro, which takes you to most important sights in Rome. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is nicely decorated, rooms are clean, the breakfast is included in the room rate. When I come back, I will try to stay here as well! Shower is very small, but that is no big deal for me
The location was great! Right on Cavour just down the street from the Coloseum and just down the street from the metro station. Breakfast was pretty good. Most of the staff did not speak much English. The hotel was relatively easy to find (small sign). Finding the room on the top floor was another matter. The check in desk was a couple floors up, so you had to wander to find it. Not all of the rooms are on that floor and some of the floors had offices or apartments. Our room was on the very top floor and the elevators do not go up that high, the small winding staircase was poorly lit. The staff told us the room was just up on the next floor, not four floors up. You have to turn in your key at the front desk every time you leave and pick it up each time you return. That was a little inconvenient.
Nothing Broken bed, poor breakfast, inoperable safe, having to drag a suitcase up the stairs, having to ask three times for a blanket. Being awakened at 2am and asked my name for some reason which is still beyond me. Bathroom down the corridor - not in room. Overpriced
Hotel Adas is in a very central location easily accessible from Termini Train Station by bus or by metro (one stop - Cavour). It's also next door to the Colosseum and the Forum. The rooms are spartan but clean. The breakfast is what you typically find in Roman hotels: cappuccini, coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam and croissants. The rooms are very small, but if you are going to be spending only your sleeping hours there, size will not matter. What will is the noise level. The doors do not muffle sounds of people coming and going in the hallways and there is a lot of ambient noise. If I hadn't brought along earplugs (a must for most Italian cities during the summer), I would not have slept a wink. Also, the price is rather steep. There are cheaper places to stay in the area -- but you must reserve way ahead of time.
Great location, nice and helpful staff Quite poor breakfast, lift up to the 5th floor only
Location is great
Good location, one metro stop from central station (Termini) and 200m from Colosseum. Small rooms, thin walls, so you rely on the politeness and understanding of your neighbours. We had window to the inner yard, so the noise from the street was not a problem. Try to avoid rooms 606 (this one has bathroom across the corridor), 607 and 608 - these are next to the breakfast rooms, so basically you cant sleep from 7:30 as you hear people coming and going. Breakfast was poor and deadline is strict at 9:30.
location value for mony helpful staff cnn would have been nice on tv
the location is the best about this hotel, within walking distance of many interesting sites (colosseum, forum, trevi, ..) Situated on the busy and noisy Cavour street. Despite advertising it accepts pets not pet friendly at all.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the gentleman looking after breakfast was fantastic! He made the best cappachinos! The phone could not be transferred to my room so any incoming phone calls had to be taken at the reception which wasn't very private.
