It was close to the Airport. shuttle bus service available. Staff are very helpful.
Location Clean rooms We couldn't use underground parking because we were there for just a night, instead we had to use parking outside and every time we drive out we had to use the key from the front desk, which was very inconvenient. Also, we bought a glass of milk and water and the price was too high.
The shower, bed and pillows were nice. Is all we liked. Terrible customer service starting at the shuttle at the airport. The service did not improve at any point of our stay. We are a couple with a baby and we had 3 bags, a stroller, a car seat and two backpacks and no one offered any help loading or unloading the luggage off the shuttle (while all other shuttles at the airport provided that service for their guests ie Holiday Inn). Nothing changed in the hotel either, we dragged all the bags by ourselves from the shuttle to the room, not something I would expect from a 5 star hotel. The following morning we were trying to take a shuttle but the lady shut the door in front of us while we were trying to bring all the luggage to the bus. The room was ok but a bit small. The satellite TV is lacking entertainment programs in English language.
I found using the Internet frustrating. It would just die when I was using it. I tried to downloading a library book and could not do it. Then I paid for the upgrade Internet and it would stop working while I was downloading. The "free" internet was slow.
Location, shuttle service, cleanliness Phone connection to the reception did'nt work so had to go all the way down each time that I wanted to talk to them. That needed to be done often as no crib was supplied for our 6 month although explicitly requested. Upon arrival no crib was in the room, so another request was made, but after being our for the entire evening, upon return no crib was yet in the room. Overall a nice hotel in a good location but disappointed by this issues that were not solved promptly.
Great staff, very clean & modern. Highly recommend
The "Faces" restaurant was really lovely and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The airport shuttle was very convenient. The wifi was awful- neither of us were able to connect at all using the free wifi.
cleanliness and quiet setting room was too small
Staff was very efficient and explained everything quickly. Lounge was open late to get a quick bite. Shuttles left every 15 minutes starting at 5am.. I was on that one. No gift shop - wanted a watch in a display case, but no one could open it for me between 8pm and 6 am...
convenience. excellent transportation to and from airport wifi never worked in my room
Proximity to FRA and shuttle bus service. Very modern and clean. Nice bar in hotel.
Room was a typical airport airport. We stood in line for two hours to get our confirmed room. Delta had cancelled flights and there was a long line of people wanting a room. I mentioned twice that we were confirmed guests and should be compensated for our long wait in line. We were ignored both times.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, modern decor
The Hotel was very modern and close to the airport. The room had a huge bathroom with heated floors. Everything was clean and very comfortable. I stayed on the 9th floor and had a lovely view of the city. I used the pool and the sauna, which were very nice too. The free shuttle was convenient and ran every 15-minutes from the hotel to the airport. I booked my breakfast with the hotel together, which was cheaper then the $28 Euro price that they were asking for at the hotel. I would certainly stay at this hotel again! I booked this hotel through Kayak and at check-out the hotel staff refused to give me a receipt, which I needed in order to get reimbursed by my office. Internet was a bit slow in the room and in the business center.
The staff, especially at the reception desk was very nice. They seemed all very welcoming and always showing a warm smile. They also did their job diligently and were always willing to help. I actually remember and want to thank Melanie for helping me find my lost wallet. There was no excess of luxury, but my room was big, quiet and very comfortable. Honestly, it is a perfect place to stop by since it is very comfortable and convenient at a small walking distance from the airport. No free wifi all around in quite inconvenient. In order to achieve excellence of service, that is a must nowadays. Also, the wait for the check in was a little exaggerated, but it was caused by external circumstances to the hotel (flight cancellations) so it is totally understandable. And once again, the staff remained calm and welcoming despite people's complaints.
Best location Tv channels were not working properly. Tv experience was below averag. Bathroom sink faucet was leaking
The rooms smelled like people have smoked.
Never leaving the building to go from the train station to the hotel, then to the airport terminal the next morning was incredibly convenient. The window curtains did not close fully at each end of the window, which allowed some light into the room at night. The bathroom floor had a blunt edge of raised stone-like flooring material at the threshold. I had to fold a towel several times and lay it over the threshold in order not to catch my toe and stub it or trip. Poor design!
this is a hotel for business travellers who need to be at the airport. and yet, what business traveller does not need internet? the extortionate price of 19 euros gets you horrible, lagging, interrupted, unreliable and slow internet access from your room, and the free wifi in the lobby does not make up for this extortion. when you pay over 200 for the small room already, internet should be included
Right next to and attached with a tunnel to the airport. The convince
The rooms were nice and modern, very convenient location. Breakfast is not included and when I was asked if I wanted the breakfast package, the front desk failed to mention it was 25 euro per person before asking to swipe my card. This hotel should never even think of charging 50 euro for what is included at 99 percent of hotels. Their food prices in the restaurants were also absurd across the board. Nice hotel but felt like I was being squeezed for every nickel and dime possible. Expected more than this.
Nice location, beautiful room, very quiet for airport.
Cleanliness Comfort Quiet rooms Coffee in room
This is the perfect place if you are flying in or out of Frankfurt. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Access to and from ICE train great.Clean and spacious, luxurious. Restaurant prices on high side. Breakfast not included in room price
the ease of connecting to trains fior busines and shopping.nothing nothing.
Very good hotel in overall, good bathroom, amazing people from front desk, good security for the elevators. Poor information on how to get through it from the airport, confusing AC adjustment, below average bed, could be cheaper. Missing more worldwide channels. Could have more food / drink options close. Would be nice to have flight information available at the lobby at least.
Location and facilities. Nice and comfortable room Price is to high for what the hotel offers but the location is top...
Quiet Clean Location directly at the airport
Location Unairconditioned breezeways/hallways.
Breakfast was very expensive.
We chose this facility for ease to all transportation.
Location to airport Pricey
This is an airport hotel, and it carries out that function well. The location is obviously great (directly on top of the train station, a comfortable indoor walk away from the terminal). Some earlier reviews suggested that there was a charge for wifi usage; this seems to have changed as the Wifi I used was not only free but stable and decently fast. Nothing reeaally bothered me, but it fosters the typical fear of breathing on the wrong thing for fear you'll be charged for it. They charge a 50-euro fee at check in to cover "incidental expenses" – uh-oh.
Attached to terminal 1. Easy, covered walk to the airport in the AM. Difficult to locate initially. I knew it was essentially in the train station, and it still took us about 20 minutes to find it. Essentially no signs (about hotels) in the train station. We finally took an elevator up (thinking it couldn't be down), then we found signage. Easy after that.
Receptionist unfriendly. I was told by another very friendly staff member that she is new...
nice, spacious room, excellent shower, 4 minute walk to airport paying for wifi is just stupid at this point.
non-smoking room had strong cigarette odor
We were in transit and it was perfect hotel from that purpose.
proximity to the airport no free wifi
I liked the room design, it's new, comfortable and clean. The view out my window was of a snow covered tree, which was quite beautiful. I found it difficult to find the pick up point of the Park Inn Shuttle at the airport. Glad I had my mobile phone to call and ask.
Beautiful new hotel. Great staff . Very, very, very difficult to find by car.
The food. No shuttlebus from the airport
Very nice breakfast. 15 minute walk from the Terminal 2.
The efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Plus the food choice was reasonable whilst the standard was excellent.
Conveniently located for FRA airport. Hotel is new, clean and well equipped, staff helpful & efficient The hotel shuttle bus proved impossible to find at FRA airport. Despite asking airport staff and calling the hotel reception I was unable to locate the shuttle at terminal 1. There is no signage and the bus seems to stop at a variety of unofficial and therefore undesignated locations. I took a taxi in the end and the driver said this problem is commonly occurring.
The hotel was obviously very new. The proximity to the airport was great and the price was extremely reasonable. The shuttle service could run between the airport and hotel more frequently.
Very good hotel overall and competent, polite and helpful staff. The rooms were adequate for our stay and proximity to the airport for air tarvel and train connections was advantageous. The hotel-airport shuttle mini-bus is a bit small; we saw guests having to wait at Terminal 2 for the next round trip due to inability of the vehicle to carry everyone back to the hotel. This is particularly for night arrivals at the airport/ hotel who just want to get to their rooms without having to wait around at the terminal. I think the 3 Euro transfer charge at checkout should be included in the room rate instead of being paid seperately.
At check-out I explained that when I checked in the attendant said there would be two options prompted for room internet: a 1-hour access for 5 euros or 24 hour for 14 e's. No prompt occurred and I used less than an hour . The attendant said he could not do anything about it but did give me complementary coffee and donut (5 euro value). I suggested he speak to his colleague. I did not like the fact that the staff did not provide accurate information for internet access which I learned the next morning. I also suggest one use the hotel shuttle. It was a late arrival with early departure and I took the taxi which cost 10 euros for 4 km. The shuttle is is 3 euros.
New hotel, exceptionally clean. Friendly staff and good food. Some staff clearly needed some more training.
internet conection, high price of the parking
No kiosk/amenities available other than drinks in a machine. Needed to source basic painkillers but none available and staff completely unwilling to help in any way. Not even offered first aid kit access. Very poor from a reputable international chain. Would not use again.
The Bar and the Staff. One has to pay 7.00 Euros per person to go to the Airport. In similar hotels in the USA and Mexico the service is free of charge. There is NO argument of not providing the service for FREE. The shuttle bus is going any way, with or without passengers!!! We took a TAXI (two persons) en we paid 17.00 Euros, 3 more than if we had used the shuttle bus and we arrived at the precise entrance of the airport.
Very effIciest operation. Everything works. It's clean, quiet and meets all needs. The 15 minutes drive in their big bus was uncomfortable, so many turns, but the value made up for it.
Staff wifi service
Very convenient and functional for a brief stay. Location wasn't great.
Free internet was terribly slow, but not bad altogether if you need to stay close to the airport for a night.
Cozy and comfy
Room was great. Awesome food Parking was outrageous. Made one local phone call that was expensive. Navigation to airport can be tricky.
Avoid at all costs!
I have never stayed at a hotel that had a night light in the bathroom, that was great.Room was very clean. Was disappointed we had to pay for parking at a hotel your lodging at and to take a hotel shuttle ($15 for 2)to the airport. Generally stateside that's an accommodation that has no cost associaled with it.
I found the shuttle bus with out any effort, and the schedule was posted on a information board at the hotel shuttle stop. So I knew how long I had to wait for the next shuttle. My room was good, simple and quiet. The bed was comfortable and not hard, so I got a good nights sleep. The food in the restaurant was quite good. I ordered a wake up call and the phone did not ring so I did not get the call. Fortunately, I woke up in time and made my flight!!! I should have used my own alarm clock!! Next time I will just to be sure and have a back up, in case the hotel doesn't get my wake up call in time.
Good Location, very convenient to airport via free public bus and to ciy with complimentary metro day card. Hotel bus free only to hotel, must pay to go back to airport. Use the free public bus stand on the street in front of the hotel. runs every 20 minutes average. The bar happy hour buy one get one drink free, and friendly bar staffs. Still under construction since March 2015. Wifi signal weak.
Friendly staff. Rooms were recently remodeled and very nice. Very quiet overall. Be prepared to have a rental car or use the shuttle or a taxi. It is only near the airport and nothing else.
