We had an absolutely fantastic view from our river view room - the castle was much closer than it appeared in the website photos. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was open for four hours at breakfast, giving us plenty of flexibility, and the range and quality of food was excellent. The shower over the bath was OK, but a walk-in cubicle would have been better. Staff appeared at the room every evening with chocolates and a weather forecast - a nice touch but I would have preferred it if they didn't let themselves in while I was in the bathroom. I'm sure they would have respected the do not disturb sign but I never think to use it in the evening.
I had a wonderful stay. If I have to go back or recommend a hotel in Prague, I would recommend this hotel. It was very quiet, clean and luxury. The breakfast buffet was very convenient. great and outstanding hotel! There was nothing that I did not like of this hotel.
The hotel room was excellent - I don't know if we had an upgraded room but the view of the castle at night was wonderful. The staff need to know that a smile works wonders.
This hotel is facing the Vitava River and one block from main shopping and close to old town square. The rooms were spacious and the staff were excellent. Free Wi-fi in rooms and lovely buffet breakfast.
size of the room, location. breakfast a bit poor
Location Unless you are a part of a Japanese or other Tour group, you don't count. Poor breakfast buffet. Bathroom extremely small.
good staff. Very bad management.
Location was wonderful. View from the room great. Reception people and restaurant staff of the highest level. Doormen pushed a livery service instead of calling standard taxis. The livery service was at a higher cost.
The breakfasts were great! Plus the view of the river was nice Eating in the bar because restaurant was not available
we were very satısfıed.
The facilites, the staff, the location, and every aspect of the President Hotel was beyond expectations. A great experience!
The hotel is in the best location, i could walk to most of the attraction and resterants in five minutes. Yes the price of friut plate was very expensive.
spacey room, very well located, efficient hotel internet service is costly and not user friendly
Is a very good hotel, luxury, clean and nice location with nice breaktfast
Close to the city centre & shopping
Location excepcional and facility to access importants points of the city Concierge should be better and the parking area in front of the hotel shoud be more organized.
staff were friendly and great location. the room was spacious then i expected. also breakfast was good and great view from my room. it has an elevator but you still walk to your room half floor. you should ask somebody to carry your luggage if its too heavy.
The ambiance and attention to detail is amazing, great tavern and restaurant, breakfast is excellent. Service and staff was excellent also. Room has old world charm, fine furnishing, luxury feel. Rooftop terrace a big bonus, great view. Showers have no curtain. Water on floor after showered. Kind of annoying. That's it, everything else first class.
We loved our junior suite bedroom/sitting room. The position of the hotel on the Square. The convenience to shops and historical sites. The wonderful view from the roof garden. Good food. Polite staff.
The place was perfect and the breakfast was excelant.
Just a magnificent experience. Like sleeping in a museum surrounded by artwork and history. Fine, courteous staff and superp service. Nothing
The staff were very attentive and the service was first class. The fact that when we arrived they did not have a reservation for us. I think they sold the rooms becasue we did not arrive until 10pm.
The Hotel is is the perfect location, right on the Old Town Square. The Hotel itself is filled with wonderful old world charm and the staff are excellent. The outdoor restaurant on the square and the rooftop restaurant are both excellent and the food was great. A real home away from home. The hotel was having issues when we were there with a new discotheque which moved in behind the hotel playing load music till 5 am, the staff was wonderful about it but it is an issue the hotel will need to resolve as it was impossible to sleep one evening with all the noise.
The hospitality and the helpfullness of the staff whilst we where experiencing problems with lost luggage. They could not of done more to help us and made our stay so enjoyable.
Staff were always pleasant and helpful
The location, the quality of room, the pleasant service.
The service was very god, and i was very quiet in the evening. It was in the absolut towncenter. The breakfast was very good.
The hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing, eating and shopping. banks nearby, good range of restaurants nearby. Staff helpful and friendly. Bar and Library tasteful, comfortable and relaxing. Buffet breakfast outstanding, food constantly replenished, coffee appears like magic, dirty crockery likewise. Rooms spacious and very well appointed. Rooms would benefit from provision of hair dryer and trouser press.
POlite staff. Tasteful decor. Good breakfast.
sillence and later chek out
The location is very good. Rate locale as a 9 out of 10. Overall, this property is a 3 star at best, but with a great location. No access to coffee in the morning until after 7:00 am. $15 surcharge for room service which was very limited. Breakfast only.
We've spent 12 days in Europe, starting in Prague and ending in Vienna. The Ventana was the best hotel we stayed at, even better than a Relais & Chateau hotel we stayed in. And it was reasonably priced for this quality. Highly recommended.
Location, room/view and comfort
Absolutely top class location next to the Old Town Square and all the attractions. Really spacious modern style suite with mezzanine floor and a big arched window looking onto the square, room 45. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Will definitely recommend the hotel to family and friends. Buffet style breakfast was very good, but could be improved with a better selection of cooked breakfast
Superb location right in the center. We were so lucky to be upgraded to a two floor spacious room that was really great. Breakfast with champagne and good variety. Friendly staff.
Good location Large rooms, friendly and helpful staff could have have larger breakfast selection, eg omlettes/sausages/eggs
Comfortable,good location and Luxury hotel!
The location was excellent. The staff were very pleasant. We could hear some noise from people in the Square during the night but this wouldn't prevent us staying here again.
Location was amazing and a very romantic city Street noise could occasionally be heard but this is due to central location, it's ok if you are a heavy sleeper.
The location was great and staff very helpful especially in booking restaurants etc. Great view Of old town square Because of the fab location the down side is that you could hear lots of noise from the square, so if you need quiet you would have to forgo the view!
Location, size of rooms, fabulous bathroom No lounge or sitting area
Location is amazing! Service was good but not really 5 star.
Gym room is missing
Hotell staff was really friendly and helped a lot with any question we had Shower was not easy to use
Close to juesh comunity A bit noisy
Good location No tea or coffee making facilities, no cafe or bar. It was impossible to get a cup of hot water for a lemsip at the hotel. Rooms were quiet cold, under floor heating in bathroom did not work. Had to request extra blankets.
The location was very good and breakfast just perfect! The only thing that I was dissatisfied over was that I got a room with a window in the roof.
very central only very small roof window
The location was excellent, near to everywhere but not too noisy The hotel room smelt of cigarette smoke, even though it was a no smoking room. The Hard Rock Cafe below the hotel were advertising a beverage in lights on front of the hotel, which every 30 seconds or so went across the window. Tnis was only on Saturday night and didnt effect my friends sleep, only mine
Very friendly and helpful front of house staff who also spoke very good English. Hotel ideally situated for visiting all attractions. Spacious room and bathroom. Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke (smoking is permitted). Pillows very flat and only one per bed.
The hotel staff was excellent. They were very friendly and professional. The location was great within walking distance of all downtown sites. Everything was good.
The location of the hotel
it is not a 4 star.
Situation is great, only some minutes walking to Old Town Square.Nice staff, a large and clean room with a bath.
The hotel's location is ideal for sightseeing, very close to the "Altstädter Ring", only about a 10 minute's walk. Staff was very nice. The breakfast was very basic.
Great hotel! Superb location, super value for money. I was warmly welcomed in the hotel by friendly staff and during my stay they were always very helpful!
The location is excellent. The breakfast is nice. The triple room is really spacious. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. The staircase is quite steep and narrow, a bit dangerous to carry heavy luggage up and down, because the triple room is located on the top floor (3rd).
Excellent location!! The hotel is only a few steps away from Prague's famous Clock. Our room was spacy and confortable with a big-big bathroom !! Best value for money!!
Sweet location, adequate room, great staff
Was can i say: it was built in the 11300's. it's 100 feet form the most beautiful square in Prague and it's reasonable priced.... not posh but very comfortable and close to everything,
I really liked its great location and the staff is very pleasant. Needless to mention its room`s charm.
Everything, it is fully coincide to my wishes and expectations. And as it was a present and surprise for my adored man, I'm happy that everything was really wonderful, like in fairytale! nothing
The location right on Old Town Square is a great feature. The hotel is also a comfortable cosy one with friendly staff. The noise level can be a little high at times but this is to be expected because of its location.
Amazing location, nice sized rooms, very clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast in the am. A bit overpriced compared to other hotels on the square. Interior decor was average compared to other hotels I stayed at on the historic old town square. A bit expensive, and the interior lacks a signature decor.
The hotel was, in our opinion, in the best position in Prague. Overlooking the Astronomical Clock and the square where everthing was going on. Music, entertainment, food and gift stalls. A very exciting atmosphere. We especially enjoyed watching the crowds gather to watch the clock chimes. The food and service at the hotel were excellent and the staff very helpfull. We found the atmosphere exciting but some may find it rather noisy
Breakfast room. Location. We would like a comfortable standing shower
Wonderful location, view out over the clock and the church towers! A memory for life.
very friendly staff, excellent decoration lack of elevator
Location was great, plus we had a room in the front so had a great view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable bed and nice quality furniture in the room. Restaurant was attractive with good food and drinks. Shower access and egress. Tub, slippery and shower head in poor location. Breakfast buffet, very good but the eggs were always a bit too cold!
Location in the very center of Praha. The room was located in another building away from the reception and the restaurant where breakfast was served.
Please write at least 15 words location in Prague, all amenities within walking distance. Room was in seperate building to main hotel, lots of stairs not mentioned when booking.
The central location was excellent with a view of the famous clock in the Old town Square No complaints at all, the location asisaid was good, staff very friendly and helful so no negatives at all
Excelent location We didn´t stay in the main building of the Hotel but in the next building which has no elevator for the rooms...
Courteous staff. Excellent view.
Perfect location for a few days in Prague. Nice to have breakfast included. Large rooms. Maybe too noisy at night for families with children.
1. Location! Right on the Old Town Square, next to the Nickolai church, which hosts classical concerts almost every night 2. Charm - rooms are variable in size but all have decorated ceilings with wood beams - great for calm before sleep! 3. Restaurant - excellent food at a reasonable price. 4. Extremely helpful (English-speaking!) staff.
The view from our bedroom window was magical. The hotel is right on the old town square which appeared to be the most beautiful place in Prague. At night it was lit up like fairyland. And yet our room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable; above was an interestingly painted ceiling. Some of the staff were particularly friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast contained lots of choice of quality food to suit all tastes. We were attracted to this hotel because of it's price, but it has so much more than that to recommend it. We felt very grateful because of the wonderful location, and the quality of our (simple) accomodation. (Booking.com also provided a very helpful service when I had to ring them.)
location was perfect.Having had my purse stolen I found Linda on reception extremely helpful nothing
The hotel has an _excellent_ location at about 50 meters from the famous clock. We did everything on foot because everything was within a 30-45 min range from this hotel. Breakfast was good, free internet, public computer in the lobby, kind staff which was service oriented (they booked opera tickets and discussed good seats etc) While we had only 28-31 degrees celcius, the room was too hot, the airco as noisy (not really loud but still) as it was was not able to cool the room down. The curtains could not darken the room. This was a major disadvantage for me. I felt the cleaning did not do a good job on the bathroom (did they clean? The bin was not emptied)
Location was excellent, staff friendly and helpful
What a nice hotel. Staff (Jaroslav) was super friendly. Restaurant is really great. Try the Apple Strudel;) really unique experience. Location and the view was the best! I will come back;) None really;)
The style of the hotel, the loaction and the desk help - all excellent Some nights noise from revellers in the square - not your fault, nothing you can do about that.
Cerna Liska oozes character and has the most amazing view of the Old Town Square of Prague. It couldn't be more central for all the sight, but was suprisingly quiet at night. Nothing.
The location was excellent, very central and within easy walking distance to all attactions.
Easy to walk everywhere. Located in the middle of the old city. Quite a unique atmosphere, friendly staff. Premises are well maintained Can be a bit hard to find for the first few times you walk there. Streets aroind it are a maze. But that comes with being in the historic part of town.
Great hotel! Beautiful room, great breakfast, great location.
The location is great, being very close to old town square. The rooms are also very large, and uncommonly luxurious (the hotel is based in an old monastery and had beautiful vaulted ceilings). The bed was large and comfortable. And lastly, the hotel staff were very helpful answering our questions about Prague.
The staff is friendly and the location is perfect for visiting old town. Nothing
the convience of the location and the excellent service given by the staff especially at the reception desk.
The hotel personnel are truly friendly and welcoming, they are very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is tastefully decorated and stylish, it has a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, light and airy and they are really comfortable. Breakfast is OK and the hotel restaurant serves a good variety of tasty meals. The hotel's location right at the heart of the city centre is second-to-none, as you are in a rather quiet area and still at walking distance from the old town centre. On our next visit to the enchanting city of Prague we'll be staying at this beautiful hotel again!
Everything was of very high quality.
central location. Friendly, helpful staff limited selection on TV
The hotel is well situated, right in the Old Town. It has wonderful rooms and very helpful staff. We would stay there again. Only a minor matter, but there was no hotel information in the room.
I thought it was a lovely hotel, well located and with friendly staff. Only issues we had were that the room was a little cold in the morning and a little to hot at night and personally I thought the breakfast layout left a little to be desired. If you don't want an omlette you still have to queue to get a plate in a very narrow space with foot traffic passing through - not what you need first thing in the morning.
The hotel is situated very near to the Old Town Square. The staff is very polite and helpful. Breakfast has little variety and no options for a light meal. Too much oil by cooking.
The location was ideal to visit all the tourist attractions in the Old Town. It was also in close proximity to various restaurants and bars. There was also free wifi access and the room was huge. The breakfast area was relatively small to accommodate when busy. However this did not cause us any problems.
