The indoor pool is small , and on the cool side , but it was January.They are under construction,but it was quiet and is in NEED of updating .Clean , staff was super friendly,breakfast cafe is low quality,outdated,had the feel of a motel.Had I not got a great deal on this hotel,I would've been hugely disappointed.My Daughter goes to S.C.A.D ,So I've been to many hotels in the historic center,this is on the bottom of my list of places to stay.
I was not aware that the hotel was under construction. It was kid of a mess and I wouldn't have booked a reservation for our anniversary here if o had know that. I was pretty disappointed.

The location is nice Everything else is horrible. Major renovations under way. They even renovate on Sunday's which is horrible. The bed is probably a 2 on a scale of 1-10. Room is small and no parking because you cannot park in the garage
The coffee maker Desk staff rude. Renovation took over the complete hotel - our hallway on 5th floor, temporary lobby nasty, Madison room terrible. Such a hotel should not be charging for a breakfast pastry esp under these conditions. Cleaning staff did not address our room at all. Bed too soft. Live and learn - the hard way
The hotel was a really great deal, especially for the quality of hotel. It was a little on the outskirts of the downtown area.
Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, clean room, and facilities. The location and parking situation is uncomfortable. Check in is too late in the day.
Bed was comfortable and the room was comfortable overall. Was in a room that had a door that adjoined to the next room that seemed very thin. At 5am could hear the people in the adjoining room so clearly it sounded like they were in the room with me. TV remote did not work, and the clock had not been set for the current time. Most hotels will allow a 1hr late checkout . . . Not here! And noticed what appeared to be a small patch of mold in the bathroom.

Great location, lovely and helpful staff, clean rooms Half of hotel was undergoing renovation, and while they maintained a fairly clean and quiet atmosphere, walking into a hall rented with plastic and filled with power tools was a bit unsettling. Travelers ought to be advised of such things prior to booking...and given a steeper discount.
The parking was on ground floor and convenient, glad we didn't have to go across the street. WE were able to walk around easily, room was clean but not drop dead gorgeous but nice. Staff VERY friendly and accommodating. I agree with breakfast issue. Reminded me of the free breakfasts at other chains. I would not have paid $13 unless I had a per diem, was hungry and in a hurry.
Clean room, very comfortable bed, great location. It was an easy walk to the waterfront and the historic district. I would definitely stay here again. I would have liked a coffeemaker in the room.
Kelly who worked at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. She immediately made us feel at home. I will definitely return to the Eliza Thompson House -- such a special place!
All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The front desk staff seemed to show a genuine interest in our day or plans to come, Kelly always mentioned other ideas or have her view of ours. We will definitely be staying here again.
Location is great. Quiet and secluded, but easy walk to city center. Warm and welcoming staff. Very pleasant gathering room and garden courtyard. Guestrooms somewhat small, but comfortable. On your own for on-street metered (during weekdays) parking.
The property itself is very cool - chandeliers, marble, velvet furniture, modern art, sculptures everywhere. The location is also great in that you're about a mile or so to the main dining/shopping area. The service here is terrible but I'm under the impression it's terrible everywhere in Savannah, not just here. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it's a southern thing. Nevertheless, we paid 5 star prices to stay here (by southern standards) and expected 5 star service. The staff failed in this area, HARD. Examples: they didn't set up the sparkling wine service we ordered for arrival; they screwed up our room service order (literally, I ordered plain pasta with red sauce and they couldn't understand my order, so I got pasta drenched in butter); we requested a trash can several times before giving up; we had to request more toilet paper, tissues, coffee creamer, stirrers, etc., because housekeeping didn't leave it. Come on. On a side note, the amenities here are really low end. I didn't bring any shower products thinking what they'd provide would be sufficient. I ended up buying some cheap travel size things from CVS because the products here are even worse than drug store quality. This hotel needs to do a better job of staff training if it wants to be a lux hotel. As it stands right now, I've had better service at a Hampton Inn.
Than mansion itself is stunning. Beautiful decor, art, loved the room. We stayed for a week & our keys had to be replaced 5 times in that week. There were no comps or anything even offered for all of our issues with the room keys. I thought we should have been offered some sort of severance for the problems that we had. For that, I was disappointed. Also the food we ordered from room service was very overpriced & not flavorful. We had a salad & a sandwich, which was $50 & they forgot my dressing. The menu, at least for room service, was unimpressive.
Great location in a great city Concierge was pretty much useless. Couldnt make his computer work and tried to get us to eat only at their bar.
This is a true one of a kind boutique hotel. Wonderfully quirky, beautiful architecture and interior design. Well trained and attentive staff. Phenomenal bar and restaurant. So much more wow factor than the newer Kessler properties like the Bohemia brand. My biggest gripe with all 5 star properties (not just Kesslers) is the higher the price point the more they "al a carte" basic services such as parking, internet service, in room amenities, and "resort fees". These surprise upcharges ruin what other wise would be an excellent experience. As a recently retired traveler these charges more often than not discourage me from being a repeat customer. OK, I get paying for parking at say "The Waldorf" in NYC. Most guests don't drive there. But $22/night to park behind the building on their own property at The Mansion is absurd. And $10 for WIFI? Really? Get a grip. We're not all travelling on OP money anymore.
I have lived in Savannah all of my life and am a current New York City transplant. I had recently come home to visit my family and decided to stay at the mansion. The hotel was gorgeous - a mixture of old southern charm and the MET. The staff was also great. Very pleasant and met my every need. I would definitely stay here again if I got another chance
The Mansion opened right before I left Savannah and I have been wanting to stay there ever since! It definitely did not disappoint. The room had a view of the park and was beautifully appointed (the bathroom was spectacular). The restaurant was as good as remembered and one of my favorites- it has the look and feel people go to the Pink House for but with better food. The entire hotel and restaurant just felt very 'Savannah'- romantic and haunting. The staff was charming and friendly and I especially loved being surrounded on all sides by art! Not much not to like. I wish there was a free parking option (valet was great - friendly and accommodating) but steeply priced for the area (especially as it is their own parking lot right behind the building). Also, have never been to a 4-5 star hotel that did not have free wifi.
The staff Hotel needs urgent renovation. Now i know why it isn't a relais & chateaux anymore.

Very clean, spacious rooms. the staff with extremely nice and valet was very convenient. The location is perfect for river street and the other tourist spots. This was my first time staying at courtyard Marriott and I will definitely stay again.
I wish that we could've made our checkout time later than 1pm.
Fairly close to the city market and river street. $5 UBER ride back and forth or about a 4 block walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking only, and it's $18 per day.
old savannah tour was the best
We really liked the walking proximity to everything. If you walk, bring a backpack for water and stuff you buy. The staff was Southern hospitality at it's Savannah best. The hotel was clean and they provided plenty of towels for the pool. For downtown, the rate wasn't bad. The railroad museum, a revolutionary war battlefield, and the Savannah Visitor's Center are right there. I thought there could have been a continental breakfast in there and some clarification on how/where to park would be nice. If you don't do the $18 for valet, then you'll pay about $5 less (a day) for the city parking garage across the street ( it does depend on what part of the week it is for what you pay). There is only one choice of pillow and that's squishy.
Located across street from Civic Center. Even on 5th floor we could hear red light green light traffic all night.
Good location. Lack of details. Towels are old with stains. Seems to be below Mariott standard.

The room was charming, spacious and nice. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff excellent. If you like a hot shower...you're not getting one here. The water was warm at best. We didn't even turn on the cold side and it was still just warm. The building is old (charming) so you can hear the people above you moving around.
The hotel itself is in a great location. Check-in was easy and parking was not too expensive although there is no self parking. The hotel is definitely old and way overpriced. We understand that it is a Hilton but for the price on a fairly average weekend I could've stayed even closer to downtown and probably had a newer and cleaner room.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The valet staff was excellent. The room's shower head needed replace and the shower drain was very slow and could not keep up with the shower.
The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice view. My room was close to the elevator and you could hear the people getting on and off plus the elevator operation vibrated through the walls. Also, the shower head dripped

Comfortable beds. Nice view. Extra fees for parking. Expensive breakfast buffet that was just average. Maids forgot to leave hand towels and washcloths.
Great location, had a newly renovated room, quiet stay event though right across from elevators, nice staff at check in, clean hotel, nice bathrooms Smelled like paint and was strong right at first but eventually didn't notice it
The staff was amazing. The pictures online r great, but seeing it in person was awesome. We have booked our daughter's destination wedding at the Forsyth Park Inn. I know it will be gorgeous.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. The breakfast, wine and hors d'oeuvres on the porch and the dessert buffet were such nice touches. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

The location was outstanding. The building had a beautiful historical design. The hospitality of the staff was true and made us feel very welcomed.
This old home is situated in the historic district across from Forsyth Park and is exactly as advertized. Comfortable rooms with high ceilings, nice breakfast served every morning and an evening happy hour with wine or sangria and snacks. On our first night that included a backed wheel of brie. My only complaint, which is certainly not within the control of the owners, was the 24/7 road noise out front. This is one of the few roads with straight cuts from town that do not go around the little parks/squares, and everything from motorcycles to tractor trailers use it. If you want a little more quiet, try and get a room at the rear of the house or the small cottage in the courtyard.
Dwayne, Jerry and the rest of the staff were so accommodating. From the delicious breakfast to the afternoon cocktails and snacks and evening dessert it was first rate. There advise was spot on and we had a wonderful time!
