very friendly staff, fairly good location, subway staion quite close by, airport limo (bus0 service now goes direct from airport to Hotel (not via city airport terminal with need for cab ride as noted on hotel web page) very efficient service and good value Although pool and spa islisted as hotel ammenities there is quite an expensive charge fot the use of these, where most hotels include access to these in the room cost. Not much life in the hotel bar, seemed to be closed the whole time I was there, but there is a good little steak restaurant next to the hotel with reasonably priced beer.
Staff very helpful Yes - extra charge for using the gym, swimming pool and almost all other facilities was not made clear by the hotel or by your company before I booked the hotel. I disputed this with the hotel in writing but got no response at all. The charges were as much as $75 for use of the pool! Also breakfast was charged extra at about $25 and was pretty lousy quality. Finally the room was extremely hot and humid and was not possible to control the individual temperature. I checked out early and ended up staying at a hotel that was about $50 cheaper - it didn't have a gym or swimming pool but also didn't have any extra charges! However, the front desk staff were excellent and the room would have been very nice if I could control the a/C.
Staff fluent enough in English to get along, shuttle service to the next metro stations, tons of stores and restaurants close by (e.g. Fort Venus), easy connection to other train and metro lines, very quite area, only Tokyo Onsen in walking distance. Smoking room though I reserved a non-smoking room.
Free internet access, near station and monorail, close to sight attraction (panasonic center and Tokyo Big sight, free shuttle bus to disneyland No breakfast, expensive rate of line station
cleaniness, staff are friendly. room size is different than the photo shown on booking.com(much smaller)
Close to train station, clean, they have a special floor called 'Ladys floor' where only ladies are allowed to stay, which was kind of nice Staff should improve English.
Quite Nice place value of money Clean and much friendly staff. will stay again if go to Tokyo.
this is our 3rd time staying at this hotel and we enjoy the location and design of this hotel.
Very near the subway station. No 24 hour shuttle and that the subtle is not free. Also that the hotel is not convenient to get to airport which is why we selected it. It seems to be near, but the fact that there is water between the hotel and the airport makes for a longer ride than expected.
Walked around the bay and visit the shopping centers. They did not have the requested non smoking room.
The double room was still fairly tiny. The "bean" pillows were terrible. I slept with a towel as a pillow instead. An Ice maker somewhere in the building would have been a nice touch, as well as a microwave. Why have a mini fridge if you can't heat anything up?
The staff was very friendly and helpful The hotel smelled horrible. People are allowed to smoke and the entire hotel smelled of thick smoke. I sprayed air freshener through the night but that's only helped temporarily. Also, the hotel has no facilities besides a restaurant that closed really early.
very nice: the onsen is very well equiped with a sauna, a bath and even a massage chair.
cheap, good room. towels are not enough in the hot spring.
It was close the underground, pretty clean, the beds were good. There was a public jacuzzi that we didn"t use. The beds were spring beds and a little soft but okay.
Nice sized room for Japan. Clean Spa that's open everyday and free. 24 hour front desk works very well. Old decor and burn marks in carpet.
very convenient, and very nice bathroom at B1 there is no daily room cleaning.
It is a good location and very fair price for Tokio Hotels .. everything is better as i though before
Generally speaking, the hotel is really nice with a good location. It is little bit far from Tokyo city center, but that was not a problem because Tokyo has a very good trains and subways. Laundry room is clean and easy to access. It is open 24 hours. There is only one person in each staff shift who can speak English. Some times, this person becomes busy with other poeple, so it is little bit difficult to talk with him.
Close to subway. It says on booking.com that it's 4 mins from subway and it turned out to be even less than 4 min. I appreciate the honesty. Don't be surprise small "hotels" in many other countries (especially Europe) claim that it's a 10-min walk from train/subway and turn out to be 25-min. There is also a small shopping area with supermarket, conveniene stores, noodle restaurants nearby. Finding place to eat is not a problem. The shower is strong. Wired Internet access is free in the room with LAN cable provided. I usually have my notebook with me when I travel and very often I like LAN better than wifi as long as LAN cable is provided. Luckily I am not a i-Pad fan. One of the lady staff really spoke fluent English. The room smelled like an ash tray on the first day when we checked in. It either went away or we got used to it on the second day. The room and the toilet are very small. It would cost 150 yen for a clean towel and some 1,000 yen to get your room cleaned
behaviour of the staff they dont clean the room during the stay
They should also provide wifi. It will not cost much but will very convenient for the guest.
Room was extremely clean. Located in a nice business/residential neighborhood that is close to central Tokyo. The staff were amazingly nice and helpful, even with the language barrier. Great place to see local Tokyo life, with plenty of great restaurants In close proximity. 5 minute walk from Kameido station. The room was a bit small for a double room. However, the atmosphere and services made that fact something that was easy to deal with. Located in Kameido, the train service during the evening hours stops a bit too early if you're a night owl.
