I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I had read reviews that the hotel was a bit stuck up and that certain clothes like jeans were frowned upon but i checked in with jeans on and didnt get looked at twice so that made me feel more at ease. You get the odd stuck up person walking past you that dosent say thank you when you hold the door in the lift for them etc but that's London for you isnt it! overall i had a very nice stay there.
The atmosfere in the lobby is very warm and looks like "London" cleaning of the room could be better, the whole hotel should to be renovated inside for the carpets at least
Location was brilliant , at the top of the street the tube station 100 meters away , at the bottom oxford street , lots of food options outside your doorstep
i was part of a party of 4 and speak on behalf of us all this is a exellant hotel staff all very friendly and helpfull. this hotel is vey good value for money for a central hotel and we hope to return next year
central and cozy mini bar service was horrible. was half empty since check in. and was never refilled though notified 3 times during 4 day stay. wake up call was not made which was a serious mistake that could end missing our flight
Great room! Great breakfast. Cool decor. Really enjoyed my stay the floor was a little creaky but to be expected given how historic the building is
The hotel is cosy and charming. Air conditioning could be better. The service of the room is not consistent
As soon as we entered the hotel we knew we would love it as the place was buzzing. We were upgraded to a loft room which was amazing and wished we had been staying longer. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Evening meal in restaurant excellent. Location good for shopping and we will definitely return. Nothing!
good location, comfortable. room was too small , we expected a better standard for £220 for two nights
the staff where friendly and very polite and the food was outstanding the rooms were to small
Close to Regent park.
la suite is a lovely hotel
the location of the hotel. i had booked a triple room. it was quite small and not what i thought it was going to look like. the bathroom was very tiny. the morning of my breakfast we had ordered room service and the milk jug was not clean at all and there were black bits in the milk. the milk in the room was off.
pleasant staff, good clean room, comfortable bed no view from window- overlooked back of other building
Am afraid the bathroom was not very clean.
The location is very convenient and the design of the hotel is excellent! Overall, I and my friend very satisfied with our stay in La Suite.
Very nice breakfast included in the price of the room, this was also delivered promptly. Some of the plates in the kitchen area of the room still had bits of food on them and there was a stain on the sofa bed which was covered up with a throw.
simple and straightforward modern service and high tech equipement noise from ventilation was at times too loud
The hotel is in a quiet and safe area of the city, convenient for tubes and buses to the West End. The room was much larger than expected and very clean and comfortable.
The Shower Yoghurt was off and the coffee was cold
Location The very small size of the room, the lack of breakfast room, poor insulation of sounds, air conditioning not functioning ...
Very attentive, helpful staff
Clean, quiet, professional On last day, no hot water for at least 14 hrs. Surprising, never seen this before. Problems occur, one would anticipate a good hotel would plan for this type of thing. The guy at the desk apologized, of course, but there was no hotel policy it seemed on handling problems. For a frequent traveller, you expect a discount on the premium rate for that day without having to ask. Without it, you don't expect to return in the future.
Free up grade to Grand Suite. Every thing fine
we were made to feel very welcome and the hotel was very comfortable. Would definitely recomment it.
Location, charming. The only negative comment I could make is the loudly noise of the air conditionning in the bathroom.
Beautiful and quiet room, very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and towels, superb location, very nice staff. Best value for your money compared to anything we experienced in London over the past three decades. This was our third or fourth stay there and we will definitely return, Not a single chair that has a back. So only option for reading, writing, or watching TV is from bed. We never have breakfast when we stay there -- too expensive and many great and much less expensive options nearby.
The helpful staff and the comfortable room Found the cost of cup of tea and a glass of wine expensive
The place is beautiful. a boutique hotel recicled recently, with modern touchs, but still maintaining the traditional sense. It is small, but every detail is considered and the staff is great. The bedroom and bathroom is too small. Even imposible to put the luggage inside (I was expecting something biger, considering that we rented a superior room). This is a huge downsize!! The location is nice, but is not so closed to the subway and definitely is not in the most turistic area.
Location was very good
Elegant but not overdone. Peaceful. A private park -- key entry -- across from the hotel for walking and jogging. In Dorset Square I've found my pied-à-terre in london. This trip was for business, but I'll take my wife here next time. A refreshing oasis in the middle of the big city.
Very good and helpful services, the decor is very nicely designed , the room is very pleasent, clean quiet and peacefull. The breakfast was very good but the way they charge was a bit strange for me. For example the buffet breakfast that I took was with out hot drinks so there was extra charge for the tea.
Clean, comfort room, polite staff No elevator,no aircondition
Nice breakfast, shower stayed cold for very long time, very small single room with cramped bathroom
Small, clean hotel. Stations and center nearby Small rooms, poor breakfast
Location very good. Staff are helpful. Room cold
Nice breakfast. The noise from the traffic on street below was so loud, I requested a room at back of hotel away from noise and this was not noted. There was no hot water in the morning for my shower. Although there are tea and coffee making facilities at reception there is none in the room which is ridiculous when paying £80 per night.
Excellent value for money - modern, clean, comfortable beds, quiet and superb shower. All you need on a business trip None - Really impressed and great location for West London
Location, helpful staff My first room was cold, and the advertised wifi was no good. signal too weak, but on request they moved me.
Very good people running this hotel. Terrific location if your son or daughter is attending Regents College. Try to arrange for a room in the back. the front rooms that border on the street are a bit like trying to sleep in a suped up coffee grinder.
Good continental breakfast, clean and tidy room, bathroom being en suite. Lots of quality tv channels Wi-Fi Internet access was promised/advertised for the whole hotel but there was no signal in our room. I had to go to the stairs to catch a signal.
the location and the staff who was very available and helpful my room (single) was a bit small and there was no way to open the window. Nevertheless there air conditioning system was efficient.
the extremely comfortable beds and the English breakfast Only one teeny shampoo in romm for whole stay. Soap was nevet replaced either
- bathrooms' experience; - electric kettle + tea / hot chock in rooms; heater in my 2nd room; flat screen TVs. 1st room (Marble Arch suite): cleanliness (sofa, bathroom walls); smell; cold. 2nd room (105): all these ok.
place biger room, more service, better breakfast
excellent staff and central location not as such
Pleasant staff, cosy, helpful at desk. 24 hour cover. handy for central shops etc. Nice area. Quiet. The sink in room 304 wouldn't hold water. I put something on the radiator and it dropped down the back and when I retrieved it, it was very dusty! Not complaints, just facts.
I do appreciate the staff in the gotel, very friendly and ready to help. I made reservation of Executive single room. In fact it was one of the smallest room I ever stayed in London with minimum of amenities, only 10 chanels in small old TV-set, without mini-bar. I think it deserves 2 stars, max. 3- stars
Excellent location and its value for money. Tired decor.
The hotel was very quiet and the staff were very helpful The dining area was rather small
Friendly staff Good location bathroom facilities could be better
The location- close to Baker Street Tube and easy walking distance to Oxford street and the West End. Good shower and bed. Staff is very helpful. Noisey. Windows should be double glazed as Glouster Street is loud day and night. The breakast and bath products are uninspiring. A newspaper should be provided and at least one computer for guests to use to check email.
Location Service size of room the big difference from picture on internet than reality
The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was good. The lift was far too small and there wasn't a bar at the hotel.
Best location ever!
Quiet, clean room. Good breakfast with friendly service. Good bathroom.Convenient location to Tube station
The hotel was clean no frills but way too expensive at £100 per night for what there is, There are absolutely no amenities available at all and they scoffed when I asked them if they had such a thing as a newspaper, they'd never heard of marmalade and the staff were pretty un helpful I mean they didn't even know where the nearest tube station was??? Then they thrwe away my washbag that I had left there by mistake....rubbish service.
Covenient, breakfast included, modern
Very straightfoward, spotlessly clean, no frills, value you for money. The elevator was very small and it is doubtful whether it could accommodate an invalid-chair.
At the front desk it was a romanian girl to talk to hehe everything ok
Twin room very comfortable. Breakfast very good. Nice quiet area. Double room absolutely tiny - really a single room. Female receptionist in morning very unfriendly.
Very clean food good staff very friendly.
nice welcome clean comfortable room near to oxford street and clubs not to far to walk to where you need to be
Good location, decent value Nothing really
Carpets worn. When I arrived early I asked if they could look after my luggage until my return- they agreed- when I returned I found it in the lobby where I keft it with no one watching it- It could easily have been stolen. Breakfast in the basesment service was poor with the same staff cooking as serving- and loud conversation going on between staff in the kitchen whilst I sat for near 10 minutes before being served. A memeber of staff appeared to be living in the room next door to me and had his tv on from 3am onward
The hotel is in a very good location close to transport links and a couple of stops from all major attractions it is in a very quiet street that is clean and tidy. The restaurants and bars in the immediate area are very nice and plenty of choice. The staff in the hotel were all very pleasant and helpful and the hotel itself was in good decorative order. The room was of a good size with Tea and coffee making facilities, and a Ironing board. The ensuite had a bath with shower and was clean and tidy. I will be staying in this hotel every time I visit london from now on, it is great value for money - much cheaper than a travelodge and you get a full english breakfast included. None
Good location: convenient for Royal Academy of Music, and close to Baker Street tube. Also convenient for Marylebone High Street and Oxford Street. None really - room was small but big enough.
It had everything you needed in the room for a short city stay. Compact Room but well equipped. Temperature of the room was too high at night.
only disadvantage is that you don t have a key of the door... which in my case meant waiting in the middle of the night for 5 minutes to be let in...
First of all, I liked its location- a good starting point for all excursions, it's close to the Baker Street and Regent's Park station, yet the neighbourhood is quiet aqnd thus one may rest at night:) I also liked the room, though small, but comfortable and equipped with all necessary appliances, even the ironing board:) The hotel staff is friendly. I also enjoyed English breakfasts.
Small but comfortable room with good facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Good Central location and great value for money. Highly recommended.
Location excellent, the refurbishment since last stay has been very tastefully carried out, staff very helpful, friendly and polite, very clean and comfortable room. the lift was very small but at times cosy!!
Great value for money, superb location Fire Alarm went off on 2 consecutive days. Once at 7.00am, once at 4.30 am. Staff were disorganized and failed to keep guests informed of the situation or advise on what to do.
Kindly staff. Small room. Just 1 chair.
The location to my arrival station and and the location to the nearest tube for my meeting the next day meant I could get in late and leave early. The room was very small and cold, although this improved to an extent when I told the reception - it was still noticeably colder than the rest of the hotel. You also had to run the hot water tap & shower for around 2 minutes before it became hot. The telly was old fashioned and had a very poor picture .
The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpfull. The breakfast was also very good.
Location, staff small room
Location; helpful reception staff; able to leave luggage to pick up later on the last day;toiletries and useful shoe shinner; bright breakfast room. cleaning and vacuuming noise fairly early in the morning for those on holiday
Overall very good value for the money - with an excellent location, a clean, modern room with all amenities, and courteous, helpful staff The room was very small - but big enough if you do not spend a lot of time in the room.
Convenience staff helpfulness
I like the tranquility of the hotel and surroundings, the location was ideal for exploring London and the service & friendliness from staff was excellent. I enjoyed the entire stay in the Blandford Hotel
The manager was very friendly and helpful when we let him know we would be changing hotels. Our room was nothing like the photos. It was very old and run down. It smelled like urine in the bathroom, which made the entire unit stink, and you could not sit on the toilet without resting your arm on the bathtub. (And I am a very small person.) There were holes in the walls and in the window large enough that a bird could come through easily if it wanted. No wifi in the rooms, and due to construction they were no offering breakfast. We were very disappointed and had to find anot her hotel with no notice which was very expensive.
The only thing about this hotel that I didn’t dislike was the location. Situated in central London, just off of Baker Street means it’s very easy to get almost anywhere in the city. Plus you’re only a two minute walk from the nearest tube station. This hotel is grimy and in some places just plain dirty, the staff are immensely rude and because this hotel is situated above an Indian restaurant it does tend to smell in the evening.
Good location Very small room no working T.v
its a dump its a dump
The location of the Hotel was great. It was a bit grubby - ok if your'e used to camping, but wouldn't recommend it to folk who prefer something a little more luxurious.
the location it was dirty need a lick of paint toilet was disgusting,tv didnt work we had the bottom of the kettle and no top part and i didnt even stay for breakfast wasnt that brave
3 minutes walk from Baker street underground station, quite street only 10 minutes with the underground to sentrum of London, cheap, its all about the location. Hot inside, no automatic change of towels, the room were not properly cleaned, breakfast just with ham and butter, cornflakes with milk, no safe in the room, no hairdryer, curtains were damaged, and the tv had three channels, but all with "snowflakes" on the screen, 24/7 reception desk personal did not happen, but you could call a number and talk to someone at the hotel if you needed answers, even when you should check out no one stood there so you just left the doorcard on the desk.
The location was great Was expecting basic but hotel rooms were very shabby with threadbare carpets, torn curtains, very few facilities no tv & a kettle no one would use.
The price. Proximity to Regent's Park. Helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Lift to first three floors. Not too far from Baker Street and Baker Street Station. There was little we didn't like as long as we reminded ourselves that we weren't paying more. Cramped room and shower. No air conditioning. Restaurants, underground, etc. all require a walk. Noisy schoolgirls can help make it an early morning.
it was very handy for the baker street tube station. the staff were very friendly the carpets were scruffy and in need of renewing
friendly staff at the desk, very helpfull and cheerfull. gave tips and pointers for our visit. no
