Cleanliness friendly staff Slow wifi ended up turning it off and using the data from my own plan why pay for an upgrade when I already pay for a phone plan?
Big rooms , clean beads , friendly personal , amazing place 100% recommended ***** best resort in Reno nv Everything
I LOVED the staff. From the time I checked in, I felt welcomed. I loved the room...very luxurious, great value. I called down to the front desk for many things at different times and every shift had fabulous people. Even the ladies at the cafe have great service. I will absolutely come back and bring my family! Thank you very much!
The room is very spacious, comfortable bed and quiet room. we've booked three rooms and overall my whole family really enjoy the stay. upon check out, the FD associate there's a restaurant charge in one of our room. obviously, we never dine in or call room service during our stay. with family of us, we leave early in the hotel and coming late at night to sleep and rest. I hope this wrong charges will not despite my future stay. Thanks.
It was a room for the night. Rude front desk staff, smokey, dated decor, not cool. Won't stay here again.
We used and appreciated the clean and complete health facility. We thought it would be closer to the river for walking but it was a drive.
Very nice, we really enjoyed our stay
Comfortable bed, big rooms, nice restaurant options and large gaming area with many slot machines, video poker, table games, etc. Convenient to many resorts of the Lake Tahoe area for skiing and snowboarding. Good package deals available with room discounts and resort credit included. Room was fairly dark even with the lamps on. Had to unplug a lamp to be able to plug in and use the keurig coffee maker in the room. Shower door has no handle on the inside to close it, had to grab bottom of door to close from the inside.
They stuck us in the West Wing- an added hotel in the parking lot with an outside entrance in below freezing temps and the elevator was broken...
Close to where I needed to be for a friend's wedding The non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke, had to air them out for a day with the window open to get the smoke out. The front desk was generally slow, the sheets had holes in them and were not tucked in well.
The entire staff was friendly and genuinely interested in helping. On premise restaurants seemed rather pricy.
the clean rooms the cold and snow
Rooms are nice and comfy. Very kid friendly, my kiddos loved the arcade. Our last time we visited we had free rooms and a refrigerator was in our room so this time we paid for our rooms and I was expecting to have a fridge. But there wasn't one and I called service desk and it cost $20/night. We already paying for room and resort fees, expensive dining and see were still going to have to pay for that!!! Not well ventilated.
It was very clean and all the staff was very friendly and accommodating There is no night life for young travelers and the drinks where mostly flavoring and not alcohol
Rooms were very nice and updated, facility was clean and lots of great restaurants available. The Casino smoke stayed downstairs in the casino. The Napa Bistro was an excellent choice for dinner and the Sauvignon Blanc for $10 a glass was amazing! The Purple Parrot restaurant gave me indigestion from the French toast (which I had to send back from all the black charred flakes covered all over my toast from the flat griddle). The air quality needs improvement. My nose and throat were congested, scratchy, and irritated from the smoke in the casino downstairs.
Napa Bistro happy hour. Great beds and linens. Nice rooms. 3rd party reservations were wrong. I had to contact them to get it corrected. Took 1 hour. Didn't win, even a little.
Nice, clean room. Friendly staff It would have been nice to have a mini-refrigerator in the room for left overs. Drink service while gambling was not the best. I had to keep tracking down the cocktail waitress
Excellent rooms, gym, Internet, value. Buffets and happy hour at Napa bistro Smoke smell in hallways. Resort fee was more than advertised on kayak. Front desk didn't know of $10 free play that was part of purchased room package.
I enjoyed size, restaurants, staff, gaming. Loved the comfort. NA
Their buffet is second to none in Reno! Comfortable clean rooms with great views of the sierras. We stayed here for the close proximity to the convention center. Kids enjoyed the pool. $21 per day resort fee tacked on to room.
Hair balls in bath dub. I was lecturing and this was paid for by host yet they claimed I was responsible for resort fee not host. Unhelpful and greedy
Everything The spa was out of this world Every one of your staff truly cares Very personable Outstanding
Staff was great from the shuttle drivers on the way in, to the driver on the way out. They went out of their way to assist with any requests, were always friendly and responsive. Rooms are nicely updated and the beds are comfortable. Close to the airport. Indoor pool. The standard pillows are terrible. However, they do have a pillow menu you can order from, which I did on the last night and it saved my sleep. It is a little far from the main downtown area, but super convenient to the airport and convention center.
Had everything I could have asked for. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a great value.
We are travelers from Hawaii arriving very late in the middle of the night. What a pleasure it was to find such a welcoming staff to receive us. Every interaction that we had was a joy. Management is doing a terrific job of hiring the best staff. We will most definitely think of Atlantis whenever we are in Reno. Everything was wonderful – the room and cleanliness was top notch.
The spa is always my favorite thing to do at the Atlantis. The smoke that just sits in the casino. I am not a smoker but even when you get back to your non- smoking room you have to shower or the room smells like a smokers room.
This was our third stay at the Atlantis, using only the hotel, no gambling. We have found the hotel to be consistently clean, comfortable, well equipped and easy to check in and out. The beds are especially comfortable, and the room blacks out nicely for a later sleep. We found that the three times we had breakfast in the Purple Parrot, that the food was consistently well prepared and well served. We love the place. The only criticism is the ever present cigarette smoke. Though not very apparent in the hotel room, it is strong in the lobby due to the proximity with the gambling facilities. In the Purple Parrot, where we ate breakfast, it was noticeable, but not enough to spoil the enjoyment of the wholesome food served. We would stay there again if passing through Reno. Cigarette smoke, but we understand the nature of a Casino business. Thank goodness the hotel room and breakfast restaurant were substancially smoke free.
Price since we were here on business and had no desire to stay at one of the casinos. Friendly helpful staff. Air conditioner didn't get quite cold enough. One very stained chair next to the desk sort of ruined the overall feeling of the otherwise nice and comfortable room for the price.
Hotel is always very clean and well maintained. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Quiet, safe, CLEAN, Excellent value!!!
Facilities is very good, and front desk service is friendly.
It was at a quiet location even tho the freeway was near by we couldn't hear the cars on it at night. The hotel smelled good the minute we walked in. We enjoyed the breakfast. We liked the fact that to get in from the outside you had to use your key, not just anyone could walk in. Thank you.
location ceiling falling in and water stains; elevator lights not working; sink hot water just a trickle; at first check in front desk female rude and mean, other staff very nice; no blankets;
Location was easy to access Everything about this hotel was worn out - carpets, furniture, facilities, etc. Was a bit un-nerving to stay given it's poor condition. Breakfast consisted of artificially flavored strawberry waffles (what's wrong with plain waffles with syrup?), flavorless eggs, and ham that you had to ask the kitchen staff for because the pan was empty. Coffee pot was empty as well. Kitchen staff was behind closed doors visiting with each other and gave me a dirty look when I interrupted them to ask them to refill breakfast. The office was unstaffed and closed when we arrived at 7 pm with a sign on the door to go to the hotel next door to register. Perhaps that should have been our clue...
Nothing Old smelled like pee
Service with a smile most of the time. Business/meeting room available. Nice location near the hospital, airport, freeways which makes it convenient. Not enough parking available. Our "disabled access" room didn't have an easy-access shower/bath. Poorly maintained (lights burned out or missing bulbs, water leaking into our room from the floor above, cable tv not working, a lamp and the coffee maker were not plugged in). The entire interior needs a refresh from the hallways to the carpets to the rooms.
Our room on the top floor was beautiful, and perfectly comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was A+ for our event at the Grand Sierra. For the money, it was a great option for us! There was a little spotting on the bathrooms walls. Our room was missing a shower curtain when we got there, though the front desk was quick to fix it once we brought it to their attention. Overall the building seemed pretty old with some surface issues.
Whirlpool Smelled like smoke
Kind of a scary area. Clientele a little scary too
Breakfast was yummy! The carpets were filthy, and there was a weird smell in the hallways-- something like way to much air freshener or something. We did have a good sleep, which is what we were looking for, but the cleanliness issue just made us feel like we wanted to get outta there as soon as possible.
Little black curly hairs were all over the bed sheets. I complained to the front desk and they switched us over to the quality inn, which is right in the same parking lot and apparently owned by the same company.
Good price Bad neighborhood
Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast good was good. Pool had been repaired and was a nice addition. They finally did enough enforcement that there was no cigarette smoke in halls and rooms. When we had first stayed there was strong stench of cigarettes and marijuana everywhere but now that is gone. Thanks. Staff person upon check in was curt and cold, almost rude. Since the last we stayed there they had crammed all breakfast into one shared unit between 2 hotels so food ran out and staff was 1/2 as large so running full time and still running out of food items. Very little room to seat guests and lines waiting for the one toaster, the one waffle iron, etc. This was our 3rd stay and finally someone explained how to sign up for rewards. Even at that the staff continues to act like it is some well guarded secret.
desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent and breakfast staff was incredibly efficient even when an overwhelming crowd existed. Bed was comfortable and tv was nice supposed to be nonsmoking facility, but smokers in the halls every night and pretty overwhelming. Luckily the aircon was fed from outside so with it on we could fend off the smoke. Maid forgot towels.
The room was clean. one of the beds was not stable on the frame.
The hotel doesn't exist and your site took my money... The phone number goes to a different hotel which did not have our reservation and any other quality in didn't have our info either. Very angry and dissapointed. Had to pay for another hotel.
The non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes giving me a headache, carpet was dirty and stained, shower was either scorching hot, or super cold, you couldn't regulate the water's temperature.
It was ok. It was ok.
Pleasant staff, hot showers, an e.xcellent breakfast room was small for 2 adults
Room was attractive, well-appointed, quiet. Bed was comfortable. Check-in was friendly, smooth, and helpful. Lobby breakfast was good, although tables needed more frequent cleaning as guests turned over. Entry to building where rooms are is uninviting, with dirt and stains making a bad first impression. I found myself hoping the room would not be like the hallway - which it wasn't, to my relief.
Breakfast This Hotel falsely accused me of smoking in my room and charged my card for $150 smoking. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back!
close to the airport and free shuttle your internet does not work. It is annoying and misleading to advertise that you have free wireless and then it is impossible to connect. I spent a lot of time trying to connect. The airport's luckily worked so i could take care of my urgent matters.
There isn't enough characters allowed for me to describe this hotel. Yelp it
I booked a standard king size room and it had a mini kitchenette.
the shuttle option was wonderful & we used it several times to get around the city. Breakfast was good, pool was good-- for the money, we got a lot of value wireless internet was not reliable
staff was nice and helpful facility was old and kind of dirty. bed was not very comfortable
Free breakfast, beds are comfortable. Dirty, air conditioner didn't work, bath tub was soft and slippery, just gross. The Worst la Quinta I have stayed at! I will never stay here again unless they do a complete renovation. Sad
breakfast the room smell smoke need to spray
Staff was friendly and helpful. Manager Kim was prompt and thorough in addressing each issue/problem. Non-smoking room was permiated with stiff, stale smoke. Both double beds had large rips/holes in sheets. Bathroom floor behind door clearly never cleaned. Toilet backed up for no apparent reason.
Not a thing No shuttle in the early am. Front desk staff was beyond bad. I asked for a cab at 0430AM and she gave me a wake up cal instead. Horrible experience.
The beds were clean and comfortable. The shower and bath area had mildew and the tub was so worn I couldn't tell if it was dirty or just old. The courtyard green space area has been filled in with cement, which is now disintegrating. It wasn't horrible for one night, but I was happy it was just one night.
Location and staff Room had an odd odor, no natural light, lobby coffee was beyond bad, pizza box with pizza in it left in my "cleaned" room, pants left in closet. Not the good stay I've had at other LA Quinta inns.
First they give us a smoking room... Seriously?! and you know why... we booked thru kayak and they dont have any control over bookings made thru other websites... Anyways, they moved use to a non-smoking room, which was smelling (from cigarette smoke)... When we reached out the front desk lady said, they have no control if someone smoked in those rooms, although they are supposed to be non-smoking...
Cheap Room smelled overpoweringly of cigarette smoke. Room was ice cold and the heater only had one setting (really high). There was loud noise all night. Didn't feel like the safest area.
The pool was clean-ish Trash in the room. Dirty carpets. Rude employees. Will not stay there again
booked room for hot aug nites..specifically wanted a room w microwave/fridge...NO MICROWAVE, was told that vagabond was under new mgmnt, and microwaves rooms NOT AVAILABLE per RICHARD, the night time clerk..the new owner spoke w me during checkout on sunday A.M., a pleasant gentleman. I explained to him the situation about the oven, he was suprised, then escorted me to a back room in the lobby were he had at LEAST 15 brand new microwaves still in the boxes, along w/ new refrigerators
Pool, Location, Parking A.C was awful, so noisy like olden days motor engine. Bathroom was very congested. TV picture quality was very poor.
The toilet seat was only held on by one bolt, even after I mentioned it to the hotel...did not get fixed. There were M&Ms on the floor. A Kool aid stain on the bed. Someone's dirty sock next to bed. A child's play purse under the bed.
