Ok for the weekend - 2 nights. Hotel situated on small (man made) beach front, we only stayed for the weekend; breakfast was very basic, coffee horrible, leak in the dinning room; water flooding down from celling by where the food was being served. Room clean but also very basic.
The pool and right on the beach, the food was also very good A bit far away from the main centre of San Antonio
Hotel staff was not always very nice, although some of the guys were really helpful and friendly. We took half-pension, choice was very good, and for breakfast you got drinks also for free, but for dinner you had to pay for water or wine, but prices are very affordable. Also if you relax near the pool and in the mood for Sangria or some snacks, prices are very good in the hotel. rooms were pretty big with big bathrooms and small terrace with nice view. Rooms were also very clean, and cleaning lady makes the ceaning every day. On TV you can watc around 10 channels, including CNN, BBC, some german and some french channels. The location was not too good for us, young married couple with no kids yet. It was a bit wild, beach which is next to hotel was dirty and mostly for elder people and families with kids. For young people I would advise to stay somewhere closer to Cafe Del Mar, or San Antonio de Portmany town city centre, there is more life there, a lot of fancy nice cafes and restaurants and it's more civilized as well, and many nice and clean sandy beaches.
The breakfast buffet was amazing. The beach was very small and not so great for swimming. It's possible to take the bus to nicer beaches if you plan on seeing more of the Island rent a car it's about the same price as a taxi 45 Euros a day and the freedom and comfort was well worth it.
The location of Sol Pinet Playa was ideal for getting to St Antoni (West End) but just far enough to have a chilled evening in the local bars. The rooms were tidied up everyday and the hotel was generally clean. For the price the hotel was too basic, especially the facilities in the bed rooms. There was no hair dryer, soap (shower Gel), remote control for tv or a hotel guide provided in the rooms. I had to pay 12Euros to use the safe in the room. There were no left luggage facilties. The bar was a bit bland and did not encourage me to spend any money at the hotel.
Excellent breakfast + dinners buffets.
staff was great.....location wonderful.....nice beach....food was yummy
That the hotel was right on the beach and just far away from san antonio that was quiet - but only a short taxi or 15 min walk away The food was only ok
The location is ideal for a quiet beach holiday, the hotel's pool is also well maintained. The room was clean and refreshed every day. We had a sea view balcony too, although both of the plastic chairs were broken at the time of our arrival. The hotel is far enough from the busy nightlife so it is quiet enough at night but takes about an hour to walk around the bay or about 30 mins by walk plus taking the boat across. If you prefer clubbing, it is probably too far and the boats stop operating at midnight. The staff at the reception have difficulties with speaking english and we preferred to get information by ourselves rather than go through the hassle of asking them. There is no option to leave the luggage at the hotel after checking out, which is a pain if you have a late flight home. We thought the quality of food was poor in the snack bar and although there were many options to choose from at breakfast, some things were visibly not fresh, for example milk or ham. One of the staff members working during breakfast was exceptionally rude.
Hotel staff excellent & very helpful even support in anything
The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are good, the breakfast was lovely, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful and value for money is excellent. A couple of staff weren't very helpful, in particular the man at reception.
The staff were very friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was very good.
Hotel Orosol was an amazing find. The employees of the hotel were ALL very helpful and had good attitudes. The location of the hotel was great and the price was very reasonable. I am looking forward to my next trip to Ibiza and will stay at Hotel Orosol.
- reception staff was very friendly - full satisfied ! - the mattresses were to soft!
Good location, lovely staff, value for money was excellent, wish we'd stayed longer. Rooms were very clean and modern.
The room is very cute, bathroom is rather big and clean! I got all i need! I even got a balcony! Staff was a pleasant and so on... Next time i aill in San Antonio i'll stay here ) p.s. Sorry 4 my english ^) nothing
location is excellent - very close to the beach and town centre, and 15 min walk to cafe del mar & cafe mambo, but pretty sheltered from all the noise which can be quite a problem when staying in the centre. we stayed in a superior double room which was very spacious and had a big balcony. the bed was huge and room was cleaned every day. buffet breakfast was very good, a bit of everything and enough for everyone. staff was extremely nice and helpful (just like everyone writes in their review). i would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone looking for a great budget hotel in san an. the only thing missing was a fridge in the room - we would have paid extra for a mini fridge.
the receptions staff are friendly, value for money, clean, location is pretty good
The owners/staff all friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotless and although I had a single room the bathroom had all facilities and was large and clean. The continental breakfast was perfectly good and plentiful. Very close to the water, bus station and shops but not on top of them. It was a little noisy at night but only intermittently and may not bother a heavy sleeper.
Safe, secure, attracts a young crowd but there isn't too much mayhem so you can chill when wrecked... good location, 5 or 10 mins walk from shops and west end and the egg , 2 mins from bus station . no pool (well there is but you have to share with a hotel up the road), cleaners came too early most mornings, so room didnt get cleaned for a couple of times.
The concierge was very helpful at all times I think the rooms could have been better cleaned
Good location nice big balcony
Good location, beautiful view from sea-view rooms, nice pool and good breakfast. Very expensive but that is Ibiza! Decor is a bit dated in the rooms, although the communal areas are nicer.
View from the room was amazing Bed was terrible, we booked a double but only 2 singles pushed together were available. Room was far below 4 star quality.
The fact that it is near town but not in town and seaview rooms have an excellent sea view. Parking was easy, and has a good shower. Staff at reception, mainly one that claimed that the Hotel was his house was rude, I booked a Hotel, not a room in somebodies house. Keys to the room had to be reissued everyday as they never worked. Money up front for the entire stay. Mini bar was never refilled during the stay.
calm location, what is rather exceptionnal at Ibiza, near to the boat transfer to Formenterra, good breakfast, very nice garden and swimming pool
view from tha balcony dirty rooms, old, unappealing interior, arrogant staff
facilities, abilities have to rest absence of its private beach, only public dirty beach is available. Another problem rather small pool. It is good that it is May now. But when it will be July and 150 rooms are fully occupied where to swim? In one outdoor pool or in fullyloaded dirty public beach? Hotel outdoor facilities are not credible at all for the summer high season. It does not look like four star hotel.
Very nice freindly and supportive staff. Restaurant recommendation is wonderful, we really enjoyed there. The sea view from the room isspectacular and the hotel is very close to the Ibiza old town by walk. Best Recommndable place for relaxation & night life. Nothing special
Being in Ibiza, you usually hardly remember a hotel. Torre del Mar has a great location in Platja d'en Bossa - right on the seashore, 20 min. walk from Space club and 15 min. from Bora Bora beach club. Rooms are comfortable, staff is very helpful. They have a nice outdoor swimming pool with a tower in the middle - hence, the name of Torre del Mar
Very modern hotel and very good breakfast that was included. The rooms were nice and kept nicely No iron in the room. The beachfront was closed and the beach was ugly that was probably why it was closed. The pool area was kind of small.
Hotel staff is awesome, very helpful for finding things and making suggestions. Good location with a nice pool for sunbathing. Quiet despite being in Sant Antoni. The bar also serves food if you don't want to leave the hostel. The sliding bathroom door doesn't have a lock.
Nice place really! Easy to make friends with people from all over the world. The folks at the reception/bar are also very kind and will give you all the advice you need for a good time in San An. Ok, the place can be a little noisy at night, but all in all it's a great place to stay.......
Location was excellent, room was new, one of the managers was helpful with info (e.g. where to eat, which clubs to go), most of the staff were earnest and helpful, they had a clean pool and ample deck chairs, breakfast was simple but adequate, free internet access with computer terminal was great. And again, location was excellent. Towels were not changed everyday, no phone in the room, no alarm/clock in the room, one of the hotel staff (the lady) was not pleasant nor helpful which tainted the experience. Despite these, the pros still outweigh the cons, and would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is near of the main bars and restaurants of ibiza like cafe del mar , cafe manbo and allow watch the sunset every day . Its is near of centre of San Antoni where is the most of beaches ands pubs .
location, very central and close to night life and ocean
The best location in my opinion, you can walk to everything in the San Antoni and in the same time you cant hear the noise from the night clubs. I loved the staff and the decoration of the room. Clean with good ac and free wi fi in your room, or balcony if you want too, I think its one of my best hotels that I visited in Spain
Absolutely lovely hotel with the friendliest staff!
The hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating. The willingness to help their guest goes above and beyond expectations. It was a very relaxing place, and I would definitely book to stay there for the price and view overlooking the sea.
Clean, modern rooms. Helpful, friendly staff. Great location.
Good value for money for low budget Kitchen facilities were poor
24 hour reception, good location - close to restaurants, bars, clubs (DC10, Space) and a short walk from the beach Bathroom toilet leaked and was not repaired until 4 days after being reported. Description of the apartment on website is incorrect, it is listed as possessing 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed but actually holds two single beds and two single sofa beds, not ideal for two couples! The desc on your website needs to be amended according
It's position was excellent, just far enough off the road to be quiet, but still in the midst of the action I had purchased an apartment, but I got given a room, which I had to re-visit the check-in desk and point out the mistake,
Very low price, friendly staff, pools were nice, right in the centre of town with shops / bars / restaurants just outside the door.. The hotel is only really suitable for (like us) groups of lads, whilst bedding and towels were clean, the rest of the room was extremely tired / facilities very limited and it would have been totally unsuitable for couples or families. It was fine for us though as all we wanted was a cheap bed to crash out in between going out.
the staff were fantastic. Its also located very close to lovely Talamanca beach. you get what you pay for
We reserved 1 room for 3 persons to fit a budget. They hade some free space that time and gave us additional room for one person for free.
Really liked the relaxed atmosphere and the coming and going of different kinds of people. Felt at ease being a single female traveller. Was happier when i requested and moved to room with sea view which was fab. I was cold in my first room which got little sun and was quite gloomy. A bit over priced.
Loved that it was right on the beach. The service could have been better. Many times, no one was at the reception. At breakfast, the cleaning ladies would pass through and get food from the buffet. And the employees aren't dressed as employees. There' s no way to know who works there.
It was OK / good location but they did charge me twice for my stay on my card which I will take up with them tomorrow.
The stunning beach location The rooms are very basic and in need of a furniture refurbe
calm and location nothing
The view of the room is one of the best of Ibiza. The balcony is only 3-4 meters away from the beach...Yo feel as if you are sitting by the sea... And when you are in your bad you can watch the sun rise if your curtains are open :) could be more hygienic.
The location is fabulous and the hotel is very relaxed and not at all a formula hotel. Considering what they charge the rooms are very very basic. The curtains are awful and also the bedspreads. They have improved the communal facilities quite a lot over the last couple of years, but the bedrooms are crying out for a facelift. Having said this I have stayed here 3 times and put up with it for the location.
beach nearby, very friendly atmosphere, excellent food
The beach. Lovelr clear blue sea. Incredibly noisy. The entertainment could be heard in my room until it ended at around 11.30 and the noise then started again after 7 when the cleaners started work. Loudong banging and talking and no sound proofing in the rooms. My dad compained about the sound in his room and got moved to a different room which smelt very badly of damp and they're clothes in the morning were damp. My nephew has asthma so couldn't stay in that room so they had to move back to the noisy room.
I only stayed one night but everything was available to me. I am a pensioner with not very good legs or lungs, I have Asthma, and having to carry two bags, one quite heavy, up to second floor was hard work. It would have been useful if the fact that there are no lifts was mentioned in the description of the hotel on your site.
excellent service, friendly staff, family friendly.its just a great place.look forward to next holiday there.
The water supply to thr rooms is salt water, which it not very nice for washing brushing teeth etc.
Nothing, I have never stayed in a worst hotel, especially not for the rate of 220 euros per night.. It looks like it hasn't been renovates since 70s, staff is rude, avoid you can..
It does include a buffet lunch and dinner, but that's pretty much part of your price. Plus side, great location. Nice maintained pool. Easy walk to the action. Can be a bit nosy but not too bad. I thought the staff were poor. The man at reception was baffled by our reservation and the sour faced older woman was rude, rude, rude. It would have been nice for someone to have smiled or told us about the hotel or anything, but nothing. I wasn't impressed. We paid extra for a sea view when we would have had a view regardless, internet was a total rip off.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good quality food
Lovely well thought out luxuries and sweet efficient staff . Picked us up from restaurant to take us to the airport! Restaurant too small and outside terrace a bit cramped!
Privbacy, quality service, quiet.
Excellent service, quiet safe hotel very well located, and anything you need they will take care of for you. Other than it being a bit pricy not really.... the service was excellent
We really enjoyed the fabulous location, luxury and service. You get a really peaceful night's sleep even though the busy bars etc. are just 5 mins away!
The beautiful bathroom, the extremely helpful staff and excellent service such as parking your car is there wasn't an available space. Nothing - it was wonderful
The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The facilities are well above average. Rooms luxurious (we were in room 33.) The top floor rooms have minimal view but the otherwise exemplary surroundings more than made up for that.
Fantastic holiday experience! Friendly and helpful staff, luxury room, good location... I can not wait to visit again!
We booked three rooms and we went for 8 days. I used to stay there every summer for the last 5 years. This year was a nightmare we could not sleep the rooms were all so hot because the change the AC sistem change with sensors that swift of and most of the night you wull be in an oven. talk to the manager and only received a wrong explanation. Need to really reoair the climate of the rooms. Food and concierge are good. But they save money turning off tge AC and you will mot bevable to sleep. Used to be the best hitel in Ibiza but no longer.
The hotel is brand new and overall the facilities are excellent and well maintained. Further the hotel is well laid out and thought through when it was constructed in 2014. Further it is well located if you are 25-35 and looking to party (i saw some people here with families and this is not that right hotel for that.. if you walk down the street people are trying to sell drugs... etc) It is clear that the drain in the shower goes directly into the sewage line and so the shower smells very bad especially when you leave the door closed. Further if you are used to staying in hotels that cost ca EUR 500-600 per night dont expect the same level of service here. The service is quite bad (one ex we had to ask 3 times for a menu at the pool and then had to wait for 30 min for our drinks to arrive and then they were not right and the glasses had lipstick on them). However i would imagine that most of the guests do not notice that these things are missing as they are not used to it so it should not be a problem.
Me ha gustado todo. I like everything. No. Nothing, I Like everything
We liked Apartamentos Venus. The staff was very nice. The only thing that we did not like was noise coming from a pumping station. It was very difficult to fall asleep since the noise was quite loud. Some higher floor wood have been better. The rest of the service was very good.
Air conditioning, comfortable beds, plenty of space, refrigerator, balcony, ensuite. Basics, but really nice after having stayed in hostels for a while. No detergent / equipment for washing up in kitchen. Some staff didn't speak very good English so couldn't help with directions.
pool area...restaurant didnt clean my room at all all week...same towels all week
The staff were very helpful and polite, the breakfast was very good, rolls, cheese and meat plus croissants and coffee. It was clean and only about 15 mins walk from the beach, but in a quieter area, so good if you dont want to be right in the middle of things. It's a family run hostal and this is a definate benefit. There is also free use of a laptop, and a friendly bar area downstairs which stays open pretty late.
I was very sastisfied, very pleasure personal, free internet, good price.
There was not any information about the servicing of the room.
Mario & Mari No conditioniers
It was basic but clean and tidy, the breakfast was ok ham/cheese roll & a crossiant everyday with tea / coffee and orange. Bargain hotel in a nice quiet street only 5-10mins walk from wips / the egg! Handy for the bus station.
evrything was very good, expecially the staff. good quality for that price. the only thing there was not airconditioning but at least there was fan. anyway good quality for that price
The Staff are so friendly and you get that family feel while your there. The place is absolutly spotless! We did not have a room with air conditioning but we had a fan which was fine. Also a small balcony. Rooms are spacious and clean. Only a 10 minute walk into centre which is nice as away from the maddness but close enough to go if you want it. Nothing I can think of!
Cheap Price, Friendly stuff Please, put air conditioners to the rooms.
Booked for one but was lucky enough to have a large double room to myself. Breakfast was nothing special. May have been a quiet part of the season but there was no social aspects to the place.
Good stuff, clean room
Cleanessof hotel, staff helpfull, near to the beach, food good and pleantiful Entertaintment by hotel staff repetive mini disco same every night
the staff were very pleasant good choice of food beautiful view of the bay walking distance from the town.
Fantastic view to San Antonio, we really loved it. Some of the waiters were really helpful. No.1: Stupid system in the hotel: when you drink something in the restaurant at the dinner you have to pay when you leave the restaurant, why they cannot add to my room account? No.2: In the daytime all the way to the hotel was closed down and with car we have no chance to go close to the hotel, and we have a 2 year-old baby with us also baby-carriage etc... it was difficult to walk always to the parking place far from the hotel. No.3: Food quality was more then terrible!!!!!! How they can serve this food to people? We have a worm in the vegetable once, and always the food was or too raw or overcooked. No.4: Most of the staff /waiters/ do not speak english! How is it possible in a place like Ibiza in a hotel!? No.5: Probably the animator is very good and programs also, but some of the night should be some different program, E.G. Flamenco dance show with sangria? We would love to enjoy a program like flamenco because with a 2 year old baby we have no chance to go out anywhere and the program in this hotel everynight is the same, same music style... Not really good to everyone.
Friendly and helpful staff with good local knowledge.
The hotel is on the beach front and to not far to Ibiza Town. The half board basis and option for all inclusive makes it good value, the food is very good. The hotel is clean and has good sized rooms. I have been to this hotel a number of times and would continue to use this hotel for my holidays to Ibiza.
value for money hotel. ideally located and good facilities. No
The staff was poor, and for the price you should be treated better. I was even charged for not returning an electronic key card that was left in my room.
Everything, the food was quality, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the location was brilliant. The noise from the planes arriving or departing the airport only few mins away.
My wife and I opted for a Club room and it was worth every penny. Our room was located right next to the day club and it was like having your own suite where you could just walk down to listen to the best DJs in the world. The rooms are small, the furniture is flimsy, the beds are uncomfortable but you can't beat the location and convenience of being able to walk down to the best DJs in the world.
Get a room close to the beach if you can. Ours was in the 5000 block and was quiet, I was able to leave the door open and listen to the waves at night. Rooms closer to the pool will be more subjected to the music they play there. Room was neatly furnished and clean. Bathroom was a decent size with tub/shower. Breakfast buffet well worth the trip. Pool hours. No hot tub. Access to beach through the back closed in the evening.
It is right in front of Space!
Excellent pool and kept very clean. Brilliant location. Not enough sun loungers around the pool. Too many Germans staying at the hotel which meant all the sun loungers were reserved by dawn each morning.
large enough rooms with a huge sofa for friends to have a snap), nice balcon - feels like u can work out ur own party there, nice bathroom and a really good dinner!! good location if u love club space. and an amzing beach ses salines is just 5 minutes by moto. stuff could b much better while dealing with the clients of the hotel. some of them were pretty rude, some of them didn't give a sh/t bout u. our camarera de piso once said us at 4 pm (though we've been waiting for her to make up our room for the whole day) that we'd better move our asses out if we wanted to get our rooms clean. and when i asked her to wait for 10 minutes, she answered that like she had no time, that although she finished her work at 5 pm she needed time to do her own business. i was knocked out, epecially when i found out that she even didnt clean the floor. another thing to annoy - was a salty water!!! felt like i practically took a shower in the sea. and there was noo fridge. the beach in front of the hotel was dirty.
Best hotel Nothing
If you're here for the parties, upgrade to a pool view room so you can enjoy the dance party while drinking your own alcohol. The real swimming pool is a hidden oasis, which is perfect for recovering from the late nights. The breakfast is incredible, but keep in mind whether you'll be up in time to enjoy it. The showers have clear glass into the room, which is fine if you're part of a couple, but less fun if you're there with friends. (We hung towels in front to block the view, so it is manageable.) Also, the hotel is very strict about guests, so it's worth the extra fee (you can negotiate it in person) to have everyone stay in one place.
Great, central location No ironing facilities (despite claiming to provide iron and board in the Guest Services booklet)
I loved the hotel , the staff was very friendly and helpful , Marina is very professional , helpful and friendly lady , Roberto is also very helpful , All of the Staff was excellent , hotel just near the sea , near night clubs and bars , Supermarkets. The hotel offer very good selection of food on dinner , also breakfast is good , i really enjoyed my stay in the hotel , hotel is also clean , the swimming pool was very good The bed was very very small but it was comfortabel
swimmingpool very noisy, very poor internet access
Centrally located on beach and close to town centre. Beautiful, clean and modern rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and dining experience. World-class buffet dinners!
staff, location breakfast times (only -10.30am)
The hotel staff is very friendly. It is like "one big family" where everybody (staff) work together as a team, and work hard every day. We were impressed they remembered us - as we stayed at the hotel for the second time (10 months earlier). We also like how quite - no noice or loud music - the hotel is.like a little "oase" when walking in the beutifull little garden/pool area. Locacation: perfect We would have liked to be able to sit outside at the terrace eating dinners when weather is great. The tables is there but "only" eating in the indoor dining room, would be great to sit outside enjoying the view and good food, great service etc.
