I said iwas not charged extra at miami why you are charging extra here ,they said rules are different at miami but in hyderabad this is the case I am very much frustrated on this service ,atleast once in a year i will travell on qatar from next time i never prefer to travel on this carrier. In the end they took you on a bus-ride to domestic gate; need to climb a couple of narrow stairs (good luck for older people); the escalator next to it is set for descending only while the ground crew doing nothing. Then your plane are on the 7th queue for another 20 minutes. Food is mediocre, in flight entertainment suddenly went blank and resetting for several minutes."

I asked if could safely store some fragile items and she said put it in the overhead bin. I said it would get destroyed and she just stopped the conversation and asked me to go to my seat. That is not helpful, nor is that good customer service."

Pro: "Only thing we liked was the fact that we were able to get onto our flight at all..."
Kontra: "Was not informed that checking in online is the only way to secure a seat. So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Pro: "Service provided by the staff"
Kontra: "The navigation of the entertainment system is not very friendly"
Kontra: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."
Kontra: "old plane, tight and uncomfortable"
Pro: "It was so easy to board and I had no inconvenience. It took 4 minutes from when I said goodbye to my family till when I was at the front of the gate."

Pro: "I fly delta this was run by KLM they weight all bags delta does not they don't take TSA preach Check. Delta does It was a free for all with check in and getting into plane"

Pro: "Flight crew on flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town were probably the most friendly and enthusiastic I've experienced and no, they were not all young. The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."
Kontra: "The Entertainment images on the screens promoted Beauty and the Beast, Batman Lego movie but neither were on the system! Food quality was rubbish"
Pro: "For an 8 hr flight...multiple snacks, 2 meals and continuous beverage service. Blanket, pillow amd movies."
Kontra: "Watched flight attendant drop tongs on floor, pick them up and put them back in the bowl of buns and continue to use them to serve bums"
Pro: "KLM food and service are great"
Kontra: "One and a half hour delay on a 50 minute flight. Flight was operated by Cityjet on behalf of KLM. Never have I seen such bad customer service: from rude people at the bagage drop off to incompetent hostesses at the boarding gate."
Kontra: "Completely none sense to change the time of départure (30 min earlier) with just a simple email 24h before and w/o sending a text on mobile phone."
Pro: "Left on time, arrived ahead of time. Baggage arrived very promptly. Seats comfortable."
Kontra: "Very limited movie choices on inflight entertainment. Seatbelt short, unable to keep secured except sitting straight in seat. No food which is now typical most domestic flights 4 hours or less."
Pro: "I flew with multiple international airlines this summer and KLM was by far the best. The crew of KLM were exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The meals were by far the most enjoyable of my airplane travel meals; and I learned that KLM does not charge for it's drinks on international flights, unlike most other international airlines that I traveled with this summer. In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others."
Kontra: "If I were going to list any negatives, I would say that the little travel pillow that was given to the passengers was so thin that it was practically useless, but I brought my own with me, so I was none the less comfortable."

Kontra: "Food -vegan menu was bad for n the outgoing flight, better on the incoming flight. No vegan food available on domestic fight. Sitting in the aisle seat meant often people pushing past your seat."
Kontra: "I may be wrong but these days, the staff curtsy and overall well coming approach is lacking! Just a smile and a few cheerful words can transform passengers’ mood greatly!! This becomes particularly important when one is traveling for > 9 hours back to back flights!! One can extra charge for it!!"
Pro: "Crew attentive. The delay was due to airport conditions in FCO, cannot be blamed on Air France."
Kontra: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."
Kontra: "Comfort plus seats need some work. Very thin padding on a hard seat. The leg rest needs to come up higher so you don’t slide down while semi reclined. Nice compromise between business and coach though."
Pro: "The crew was excellent and surprisingly the seats were comfortable."
Kontra: "I think more attention should be paid to cleaning the plane and eeek, there was no liqueur in economy class. Music selection in entertainment should be wider too"
Pro: "All went right namely the seats but the luggage condition is the worst"
Kontra: "Air France is not a low fare airlines, I had to pay 225 USD against 3 luggages which is not acceptable. We should have the right for one luggage per ticket as all other airlines. If I knew this will happen, I wouldn’t use Air France and this will be the last time I buy a ticket on Air France"
Pro: "Bag was sent straight to NY although Norwegian screwed it up. Am yet to receive my luggage."
Pro: "The crew ask some of us to help seating a family group together. No objection. Then they went out of their way to make the trip more enjoyable for us... even offering a drink of Champagne wine (the true one, not some substitute)... Departed almost on time, arrived a few minutes early..."
Pro: "I really liked my seat, but it was one of the only ones that didn't have a USB port."

Kontra: "The food was cold. We were served about 40 minutes after most of the plane got their food. The overhead compartments kept opening by themselves through out the flight. Food was horrible."

Pro: "In cabin crew was attentive and friendly. Food was good and came at good times. Middle bathroom on Airbus 380 was big and comfy."
Kontra: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."
Pro: "I would like to come on time each trip because I got two late time before with airfrance"

Kontra: "Even though the plane was far from full, passengers were allowed only 1 carry-on item (no personal item), contrary to policy published online by Air France. This policy applied even to people with Economy Premium for the rest of the trip (which allows 2 carry-on suitcases, not a useful feature if one cannot begin with this number to reach the transoceanic flight)."

Kontra: "Window pane was broken on my side and I couldn't shut it down. As it was a day flight the sun heated my skin badly"

Pro: "Missed connection and it was airport not Delta that was the problem. Not a good way to start a vacation. Rating is for the Paris Airport, not the flight crew or Air France employees. Still sitting in the airport when we should be at our destination."
Kontra: "Hundreds of people missed their flights. Delta had us into Paris with an hour and a half to get to connecting flight. Missed flight due to huge delay in passport approval. They seemed completely unprepared."
Kontra: "Air France lost my luggage and they can't find it in the computer system."
Pro: "1) USB charger and electric outlet 2) Availability of 2-across economy seats (for a price) 3) Vegetarian dinner option available and not too bad 4) Flight arrived on-time"
Kontra: "1) Front seat pocket bulging with 2 extra-thick in-flight magazines 2) No on-board wifi 3) Not much seating room - very thin"
Kontra: "Business Passngers have to wait in the same bus to board the flight what is the point then...."
Kontra: "My flight was cancelled, I was sent around to multiple desks and terminals and no one wanted to assist me, then my luggage was lost."
Kontra: "The delay in the flight without even informing us of the reasons. Changing the boarding gates twice, and no options in the meal."
Pro: "Crew was friendly and polite, both beverages and an excellent lunch was offered."
Kontra: "A delay was not ideal but nothing to worry about since the flight arrived on time."
Pro: "Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost."
Kontra: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

Kontra: "Couldn't adjust the seat and the cushion wasn't comfortable neither seat or back. The bottom back was like a board across the bottom and hurts."
Pro: "The crew were pleasant and most served with a smile. When I was at the back to stretch my legs, one of the crew asked if I wanted coffee or tea since I was not able to get some sleep during the long flight."
Kontra: "I thought the seat seems a bit short but the leg room is ok."
Pro: "Bar/Coctail service on AF was excellent."
Kontra: "Boarding area at CDG had almost nothing in the way of food and drink. Only one small Illy. Unbelievable in a major international airport."

Kontra: "The bag did not arrive. It stayed in Paris even though my first flight was on time. Connecting at CDG was a negative experience. Not enough time and unfriendly staff at the security check."
