Pro: The food was fine.

Kontra: The flight was two hours delayed, so I almost missed my next one--which was international.

Pro: Good

Pro: Boarding was prompt and efficient.

Kontra: No power sockets to charge phones, Entertainment selection and functionality completely outdated, just managed to watch 1 movie before I gave up trying. The air hostess tried to help but mentioned that it’s just slow. During dinner service I asked for a second glass of wine with my meal but was refused as only 1 glass of beer or wine is allowed per passenger and flight, which I found very stingy as an airline and irritating from a customer care perspective.

Pro: I was surprised that there were tons of in flight entertainment to select from. Crew was also very nice

Kontra: The seats weren’t the most comfy and one of the meals was bad

Kontra: Business class seats not very long if you are tall. Western meal option is not really very western. Crew is a little too efficient- got woken up 90 minutes before landing to clear the mattresses. Lots of announcements- a bit too much. On time, and quick to respond to requests. Sake was good as was the ramen.

Kontra: had an extensive entertainment selection, unfortunately the old, low resolution tv screens made it difficult to watch the films/tv.

Pro: Comfortable premium economy seat. Nice crew.

Kontra: Vegetarian meals were repetitive and pretty boring and devoid of any source of protein.

Pro: Friendly staff. Food was good.

Kontra: Entertainment had very limited options. I had booked my flight through travel agent vayama. I would never ever recommend people to use that travel agency. It takes approx 35-45 mins to contact customer care, you are way better off taking the tickets from airline as they cannot help much if the tickets are done through agency and not airline directly. Moreover the agency charges additional fee over and above airline fees for any changes

Pro: The staff, from airport to plane, were brilliant, the food was initially surprisingly nice, but by the time I'd been in transit long enough for the third meal, I just couldn't face it.

Kontra: The Seats were OK and the legroom was pretty bgood for economy, but the extra headrests on the larger Heatthrow/beijing aircraft came in at about shoulderblade height and made finding a truly comfortable position impossible. Definitely one to look at the price step ups for better seats in future.

Kontra: No entertainment because no individual screen for movie

Pro: Very good service on board, crew very attentive and polite.

Kontra: Lack of communication with customers in change of situation. Airline had to change the aircraft and as a result all passengers had to be transported to the new aircraft by buses rather than via boarding bridges. It was the longest airport shuttle ride ever because no one told us what to expect. People complained. But airline could have managed expectations better by giving notice to customers what will happen next, customers will be more forgiving that way.

Pro: - Crew was respectful and nice - Entertainment options were good. - Seats were good and comfortable

Kontra: - Food was too less. Being a vegetarian, I had expected good amount of food. But it was only a few ounce of food like just given to taste it. I was hungry most of the time in flight. My second meal didnt even have any bread. And Desert (icecream) was never offered to me. Seriously, if I had known this, I would have packed my own food to board the plane. - The windows should have an option to close the pane. Sun was constantly on the left window (where I was seated) for the entire journey and even after fading the window, it was on my eyes most of the time.

Kontra: Flight attendants

Pro: even though I was in Economy class, the seat was comfortable, the food was good and the flight attendands were attentive and polite

Kontra: Food was awful. Huge hassle having to clear immigration pick up bags and check in again in Shanghai.

Pro: Quite comfortable, met my expectations and I rested. On board team were friendly and helpful.

Kontra: Lounge in TPE is awful! Over crowded, noisy and a mess. I wouldn’t fly CI again just from the lounge experience.

Pro: Prompt and customer-oriented service. Thank you to counter staff for arranging the seat change. I thought I had confirmed the seating during web-checkin but was told that there was no history of confirming the seats in the system.

Kontra: A change of snack for to and fro journey would be good.

Kontra: The seat pitch is quite narrow makes plane feel crowded. Flight attendant does not pay attention to the request

Kontra: Delayed flight, but the email notification from JL was lacking the most important detail... The new take off time! It was 70 minutes later than advertised, but then delayed by another five minutes on top after a late take off.

Pro: Service on the ground and in the air was efficient, if somewhat cool and uninterested. (The exception was at checkin counter where the service was great.) options for entertainment were great. Food was decent, legroom was decent, plane was older but still decent....

Kontra: The entire plane's group of passengers seemed to be lined up at the boarding gate - no explanation why, but they were checking ID's. Then the line just moved into the plane. I prefer boarding by rows, especially when traveling with my young son. Air crew seemed pretty uninterested in anything beyond the basic requirements of the job.

Pro: Transit was smooth and efficient.

Pro: the flight wasnt too packed so i had enough space and the flight was cheap, worth it.

Kontra: the time the flight was available for.

Kontra: there was not much information at the airport, the flight did not appear on the screen. but when I asked, I get the information.

Pro: Entertainment - good choices of movies and newer LCDs.

Kontra: Compared to Delta where they proactively offer unli cocktails and drinks to business class and comfort, I've never had one offer in my return trip. Had a technical malfunction twice which caused me to miss my 7am connecting flight by 2 mins. The next plane didn't even bother to wear for 2 mins even if they caused the delay. They gave a 250NT lunch voucher and asked to what til the next flight in the afternoon. That was the longest flight I experienced coming from New York.

Pro: screen contents very good

Kontra: seat is smaller than other flight

Pro: Service and Food was great. The hygiene was good.

Kontra: The audio on inflight wasnt working on leg 2 of the journey i.e. from Seoul to SFO

Pro: I liked their positive & happy attitudes as well as their work ethic.

Kontra: Perhaps there could have been a larger & wider selection of movies. I would have liked to have had a hard copy menu so that I could make a more informed choice with my meals.

Kontra: Korean Air refused to provide accommodation for my 19 hours layover even I had two flights with Korean Air. The reason provided was simple: "We don't have you on the list". The fact that it's 8 pm and had known nothing about South Korea meant nothing.

Pro: I like that KE is lenient with the baggage allowance of 23kgs per piece that some can still go up to about 25kgs due to measurement system used (Metric vs. US). I also like that KE has bigger leg room even in the economy class.

Kontra: I don't like the fact that KE charges the 3rd baggage (excess baggage) US$200 for only up to 23kgs. Anything beyond that is additional $100 for only up to 32kgs. another $100 beyond 32kgs. I will state for a fact that Cathay Pacific only charges US$150 for the 3rd baggage and is already up to 32kgs. Perhaps this is something KE would like to look into. In spite of Cathay Pacific's excess baggage rates, they have a smaller leg room in the economy class.

Pro: Great service, plenty of leg room, exceptional staff. Toilets refreshed often. Will def fly again.

Kontra: More detailed online infor for kids food. Australian fried rice varies greatly from korean!!! Potato crisp packets of chips would be a good snack option for kids instead of prawn crackers / brownies. Kids like plain stuff!

Pro: Surprising amount of legroom, solid food and very pleasant host staff
