The flight was full, and some business class passengers moved to economy class, with some economy passengers being removed from the flight to free up essential "rest areas" for the crew."
Kontra: "Whilst I understand that the planes make no money sitting on the tarmac, maybe the schedule needs tweaking to permit a little more time for maintenance?"

Kontra: "The equipment for this flight is a 747-400. Hence, the personal entertainment system is old: no games, and the video can be shaky."

Kontra: "BA need to decide if they are EasyJet or BA. To pay BA prices and get EasyJet service is a joke. When I fly Easyjet I know what I am getting and can live it with. BA, on the other hand, wish to be different and yet they are close to painting the planes orange and still charging a premium price."

Pro: "There was a guy snoring before we even took off in the air and the cabin crew told him it waa disturbing some passengers and I was so grateful for that!"
Kontra: "I missed the food trolly when I went to the loo because the journey only took an hour!"
Pro: "This was the second leg of flight from Gatwick, short stay at St Lucia, only a short flight, didn't leave the plane there so boarding and food comments don't really apply to this flight. Crew changed over here - new crew as good as first leg, excellent, never had problems with this on BA."
Kontra: "Entertainment poor, limited choice and mediocre screens. Is the Boeing 777 fleet due a refurb? If so, don't spoil the seats and legroom, but do update the in-flight entertainment system!"
Pro: "Captain kept passengers informed on everything, great flight, helpful crew, fantastic entertainment system."
Kontra: "Leg room isn’t great for such can’t a long flight and the food was not the greatest."

Kontra: "Being delayed for 2.5 hours wasn’t pleasant. Once we finally boarded the crew members did apologise in person to all first class customers. I was sitting with my granddaughter right behind it. We felt like a second category customers.... nothing to add to it it shows it all"
Kontra: "The complete lack of help from BA staff after I missed my flight. No helpful suggestions at all when I asked for guidance. Just 'the flight is closed and there are no more seats left today'."

Kontra: "One of the jet bridges malfunctioned. Had to board >500 passengers via remaining bridge. An hour late departing."
Kontra: "I understand the flight was delayed because of the thunderstorm, but even then, the boarding process was horrible, at the airport they didn't know what was going on and people could board with no logic. It's also unbelievable that with a flight with such a delay, where we were told that at the gate that there was a limited amount of food on board, whatever was available (even water) was not kindly offered, but was on sale only."
Kontra: "Not only do you now have to buy food and drink, by the back of the plane they’ve always run out (our flight was not even particularly full). Flight was delayed an hour - I’ve taken 4 BA flights in the last 5 days and every one has been delayed by at least one hour. No longer worth the price."

Food only for sale with a British credit or debit card, won't take cash,no menu cards, and even if I'd wanted to get food, no gluten free options, which is not a lifestyle choice for me, but a necessity.Scruffy dog-eared magazines in the seat pocket. Not even an offer of tea or coffee. Check-in online would not allow me to change my seat, although it told me I could. I fly a lot, but tend to avoid BA now if I can, and this flight just confirmed that preference."

Kontra: "Not good enough to let back of plane consistently have no choice of food because it has run out. Maybe alternate end of plane you start service to avoid this happening."

Kontra: "The wash bag is now so limited- the bare minimum (and that's in business class!). No comb even. No face wipe either. It's an obvious thing to economise on from the airline's point of view, but it doesn't really have to cost them anything. And the choice of new films was somewhat disappointing - they are relying quite a lot on older films. and no duty free at all (the crew were apparently not given the correct paperwork to allow sales). This was disappointing as I had been hoping to pick up a dual SIM gadget. None of these minus points are major, but they detracted from my enjoyment of the flight"

When it came to boarding my husband who needs special assistance was first taken to board first but then had to be brought back as refuelling was not done and was then last on board. When we arrived at Heathrow his special assistance was not there and we had to wait for about 10/15 minutes. It is stressful traveling with someone who needs help and even worse when there are delays. We were advised that we could leave the aircraft which we did but we were left waiting in an area without any toilets which is a problem for him"
Pro: "The team on board is always trying their best and work hard to make it comfortable."
Kontra: "The flight was delayed for almost an hour after boarding which isn't the end of the world but to sit on the plane is worst than waiting for it. They had one disabled customer who screamed all night and to be honest, again, not much you can do about it but it kept everyone awake on an overnight flight. Would've been nice if they had handled the customer."

Pro: "This is was actually a flight operated by Qatar Airways and my first time with them. And you know what? It was like going back in time: this was exactly what and how BA used to be even 10 years ago. Thank you, Qatar, for wonderful service!"

Kontra: "An old beat up plane in desperate need of renovation especially for a long haul flight. Only one nice flight attendant who tried to help. Others not interested. Terrible seat that I tried to move with no success. Did not eat anything or watch any entertainment. Very unpleasant experience. I have flown this route many times and next time I would fly Swiss through Zurich or Geneva as I have done before."
Pro: "As ever, BA Flight attendants are courteous and approachable - consistently one of the best adverts fort the airline."
Kontra: "Poor quality of service and courtesy provided by outsourced ground handling providers"

Kontra: "The lady at check in was the most rude customer service I have ever had. There was confusion with flights and I was trying to check in well before time and she said no it's too late and walked off. I then saw her later at 8:50 (my flight was at 9:25) I said excuse me that was my flight and she goes I'm busy trying to fuel and stormed off. The ladies at the airport tried to help me. So now I have to wait over night at the aiport for 17 hours because the check out lady wouldn't give me 1 minute to speak to her well before check in would've been closed because she was too busy in a hurry and extremely rude!"
Pro: "Nothing to like in particular."
Kontra: "Why does BA insist on serving spicy food on every flight from the US to the UK. I was offered chicken or pasta and no one even bothered to tell me it was chicken curry. With BA I always bring food on board with me as the inflight meals are awful."
