Pro: Nothing. We had to sit on the runway for an 1 hour 40 mins. Staff didn’t even give away water, you had to purchase it... outrageous

Kontra: Got told luggage would go straight to bali from origin in Nepal. Waited at baggage check in jarkata just in case. Sure enough, our baggage comes out. Transfer to domestic terminal was almost impossible since we were given no information and our flight number changed completely. All of a sudden it was batik air not malindo, which has a completey different terminal. Will not be travelling with malindo again.

Pro: Love the width of the seat, the free 30kg luggage allowance and food. All provided without extra cost.

Kontra: Good

Pro: When the seat folded down (business class) into a bed, it gave almost a twin size bed that was flat.

Kontra: Being in business class, I had expected the food to be better. Also, the red wines offered were only a sub selection of the ones in the menu.

Pro: Better flight as bigger craft and no neighbours in my row so I got some sleep.

Kontra: I think the food in our flight was not that good..

Kontra: When booking this return flight with Air Asia we had to pay for baggage.Not sure if its with Kyak or Air Asia but Having included baggage for outbound we were shocked to find it wasn’t included for the return. This cost us £147 at check in which was a shock.This hasn’t happened with Hong Kong Airlines previously. I think either your website or Air Asia’s need a block when booking return flights so you include baggage for both sectors.This would avoid the shock and excessive cost at check in.

Pro: Getting on board plane.

Kontra: There was a 40 minute delay. No information for other passengers for flight after us. So hence chaos for our flight.

Pro: Flying from U tapoa is a great way to get to Hat Yai from Bangsaray,25 mins awayjust over1 hour flight time. Quick check in , Great.

Kontra: Seats are big congested. But pushback makes up for it.

Kontra: The flight was a pretty good flight for budget

Kontra: Changed the time of my flight early by more than 2 hours, with no communication. I therefore missed the flight. I was informed there was a flight that evening but they refused to move me as I had booked through an agent. Waited more than 6 hoursnin the airport for next flight and was offered only a meal voucher worth £4. Later flight was delayed, resulting in me missing my friends pre wedding henna party and arriving more than 8 hours late. Not a single apology given!

Pro: The best thing is the free luggage allowance of 30kg each. They had some snacks and entertainment as well.

Kontra: Check in at the airport was an ‘experience’. For first time travellers here make sure you go straight through security. A lot of pushing and queue jumpin so stand your ground! Flight was slightly delayed. No electronic devises could be used but hey, the flight from Bangkok is only 1hr.

Pro: You can check-in luggage for free. Not like Airasia

Pro: THe flight was slightly delayed, but nothing to speak of.

Kontra: It is one of the best low cost airline.Ground staff very helpful even the cabin crew were supportive

Pro: We were connecting and the connecting flight was late and the CSR held the plane just for us.

Kontra: Once on board the crew was horrible. Because of the problem, some other groups of people decided to take our seats to spread out. So I just took the seats immediately available to us that were open. The flight attendant decided to check our boarding pass to see if we were in the right seat, and of course we were not (because the other people decided to take our seats as we were the last to board). I figured this was just fine. We even paid extra for the assigned seats but for the sake of getting the flight going due to our tight connection, we took the nearest available seats. Unfortunately, a group of 6 people had to take 5 minutes to rearrange the seats because the flight attendant "insisted" we take the seats on our boarding pass. It would have been much easier if the crew would have just let us take the seats that were available instead of trying to rearrange the other group.
