Pro: The value, I got low price ticket. Polite , helpful crew. On schedule. Using apps for check in, no paper harassment. Didn't try food, and no use for entertainment for short flight. Don't have baggage.

Kontra: Space was so cramped, aisle and between seats. Would be very uncomfortable for people with long legs, long flight. Even cabin crew could hardly help with baggage on boarding in and out because of the space. Should be more firm on one cabin bag+one handbag policy, many inconsiderate passanger carry more so it was even more cramped.

Pro: Cabin crew was nice and polite.

Kontra: We almost missed the flight as the boarding gate was changed at the last minute and the announcement was very late. That is very scary!

Pro: It got me there at a reasonable price without being too uncomfortable!

Pro: The service was very bad especially when I checked in my luggages. They have changed me 13400 bat Thailand for the lugged and when I checked the bill when I left. She gave me two bills only and nothing else. We were three she charged us 13400 bat why is that. We have lugged for me 2 luggages total weight 28.8 kg. Plus 15.6 kg for my friend and 20 kg for the third ticket. Why is that?

Kontra: The seat was terrible, looks like old airplane. No entertainment system. This is really a budget flight.

Kontra: Certain Crew is unable to do simple math calculation even though she is using calculator. I was purchasing food and gave Malaysian Ringgit, little that I know, the change is given in Rupiah and the amount was wrong, it was short of 55,000. Luckily I did a little math calculation my own, and find that she was over-charging too much for the food. Realizing that particular crew can't calculate, I offer to pay using Rupiah, she rejected it and gave me back the proper change. The exchange rate on board is absurd!!! I suggest use local currency if anyone would do onboard purchasing on AirAsia.

Kontra: The aircraft had been in the ground but boarding 45 minutes late, I saw steward, stewardess and copilot chat in front of toilet :|

Pro: Friendly staffs - both on the Fllight as well as the Ground Staffs.

Kontra: 2.5 hour delay. Not worth it.

Kontra: Never flew due to volcano - fair enough. But communication from the airline was utterly non-existent, as was any kind of service and support for rescheduling etc. Confusing messages on their website and refusal to fly despite other airlines having no issue - because they didn't want to pay parking rates at AU airports. Air Asia ruined my holiday far more than Mt Agung.

We ended up losing the money for that ticket. We could not reach kayak and AirAsia, in their policy doesn’t cancel anything. I don’t know who was supposed to send us the confirmation but the money is gone
